When you listened to Tragedy the explosion sound Barry made by cupping the microphone. Check out the video of the making of Tragedy. It's got some great information about how they write songs. Also fun fact: none of them ever learned how to read music. In which makes what they did even more amazing.
John Travolta visited lots of Discos and did lots of prep work with Deny Terrio getting ready to dance like that for the movie!! This song was usually always the way the Bee Gee's ended all their concerts (other than encores, of course).
Devin, I am Barry’s age but never truly appreciated these incredible talents until the pandemic. They are so so amazing and so much more than their disco era.
Love me some Bee Gees, the best group ever. I love them all so much we truly are blessed by these wonderful brothers. This music will live on forever!!! I know the Lord is above all and I love him, he gave me new life, my life has never been the same even the Bee Gees sound better if that's possible. Love your reaction Devin!!!
The official Bee Gees You Should Be Dancing video is live ( Spirits Tour ) 1979 . It is amazing , Andy also joined them on stage. Someone took parts of the concert and movie to make this video.
This is the album cut of You Should Be Dancing. On the Spirits Tour version you can hear Andy very clearly adding ad-libs. So we have a mash up of movie footage, tour footage, and album audio!
One of the absolute best CHAIR DANCERS ever! ... Seriously need clips of chair dancers to this song combined into one video. I love my Bee Gees, thanks!
The concert clips are from the 1979 "Spirits" tour. Andy joined them on stage for this song. He is on Mo's mic. This song is from 1976's "Children of the World" album, but was featured in the movie "Saturday Night Fever." This is a defining cut for dance music, and you can't help but move. Very nice Devin.
I have been browsing your channel and when I saw The Bee Gees playlist-along with your positive vibes (I’m a Christian too)…I had to Subscribe! Growing up, The Bee Gees were my favorite group, and you’re bringing back memories for me. I loved them then and still today! They wrote all their songs and played instruments too, all without being able to read music! It was a God-given talent they had. I believe they only did 1 cover song in their career. They took a Carol King song “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow “, and in typical fashion, did it “Bee-Gee” style. It’s beautiful. Anyway, just wanted to let you know I have been really enjoying your Bee Gee playlist. Keep up the good work.❤
I love this! My favorite Bee Gees song. Like you said, can't go wrong with anything by the Bee Gees. I would definitely encourage you to listen to Barry Gibb and Barbara Streisand in "A Woman in Love." So good. Also -- PLEASE react to Heart's "Alone." Ann and Nancy Wilson can both sing like nobody's business and Nancy tears it up on guitar as well.
This was Andy, it was the 1979 Spirits Having Flown tour at the Stadium in Oakland, CA. ( the dance clips are from the movie Saturday night fever, John Travolta is dancing)
The Brothers Gibb are amazing musicians and their voices are genetic talent. God bless and RIP, Andy, Maurice and Robin. We love you Barry, one of the greatest Falsetto's ever. 🥰
Devin, I watched a video clip of an interview with Maurice and he described Andy in awe of the crowd on that night. He looked at Maurice and said “ can you believe it “ Maurice said it was the best night that they will remember forever ❤️❤️❤️ they are the best around so sad they are mostly gone 😔
I was lucky to attend one of these Bee Gee concerts from the 1979 Spirits Tour in Ohio in September 1979. Took my younger sister and her friend for their high school graduation gift. Tickets were only $10, $12.50, or $15 dollars for this fantastic concert! Tickets now days to top level shows like this are now untouchable for the average person. Andy wasn't on stage with his brothers for this show, but it was so freaking AMAZING!!!
Hey Devin! Where is the portal that could take us back to those disco days? You would've definitely enjoyed being out on the dance floor busting a move🕺💃 ❤
Dude! I was 21 when disco came out. We worked hard at our jobs all week, feeling weighted down by life. Then dressed to the 9’s , headed to the disco. The second we walked in, the music brought us alive like nothing you young folks have today. How I wish you could experience the intoxicating energy this group created as we danced. You would have fit right in with us. Thank you for the walk down memory lane. It was fun watching you enjoy the music I danced the night away to. Peace ☮️
When disco started, I was out every weekend! There were versions of Studio54 in and around Philly. If you didn't feel the music, you were either in a coma or dead. And Devin, you are such a joy to watch and listen to. Bless you and keep up the good work (Jennifer)..
"I'm not worthy", you crack me up!! Yep, that's Andy up there with them - RIP Andy. React to: "One", "Alone" "You Win Again", "Heartbreaker", "Man in the Middle" with Maurice singing lead; "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow". I put on the Bee Gees to clean house & it's so much fun! I've never heard a bad Bee Gees song either. New subbie! 🙂
40+ years later and it's IMPOSSIBLE for me to hear this song without seeing John Travolta dancing to it. I'm sure there are plenty of my generation who feel the same way..... :-)
Thx for your huge reaction. Mo did here an insane work playing crazily bass. This song was on the LP "Children of the world" (1976) before being included in the SNF soundtrack (1977)
Yes Andy was 4th person on stage. He didn’t sing on the song but made appearance. Was wonderful for all 4 brothers performing together. Hope everything is ok with you and your family. Haven’t seen new Bee Gees. Thought maybe in honor of Barry Gibb’s 77th birthday and 53rd Wedding anniversary with wife Linda you could do Words (live Spirits tour is my favorite or Barry’s tour in 2013/2014). Hope you continue your journey on this great group❤
Devin, you are so adorable. I love watching you as much as hearing the song. You remind me of my son who's 23. LOL! Just a happy person and a joy to be around. Hugs and blessings
Yes, that's Andy, good eye! Wasn't it wonderful seeing all four of the brothers together!? Thank you for letting me sit in with you again today, fabulous reaction!
Devin...I mean this with ALL SINCERITY....YOU, my brother, are a blessing in my life! Your reviws, you words of teaching, your blessings you pass along, etc. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!❤❤
The Bee Gees and Andy Gibb were ALL brothers and of the few, if only, who embraced funk, soul and R&B and we're successful for it. So, they prove no matter a person's skin color, it comes from within one's soul. You've got to appreciate their mark on the World their music left. No matter the skin color of listeners of their music, their music goes past color. Exhibit A.B.C. & D.
So exciting to see Andy join his brothers on stage! Love me some Bee Gees and in my opinion Andy was a Bee Gee too! In fact, he was supposed to join the group officially but tragically died too soon. When I hear there music, I swear it’s God inspired. Their lyrics were clean! Nothing like the abhorrent lyrics we hear today. May the 3 brothers rest peacefully and may Barry find reconciliation & peace with the King of Kings!
Most of these clips are from a live concert during the Spirits Tour where baby brother Andy joined them on stage. For a real treat, what that entire song from the live concert. They really get down at the end of it. That is cut off of this video. Even Andy sings on his own a bit.
You're so adorable hilarious I loved that music pure dico ouah big succès in France in the discotheques I watching from France your reaction is very really thank kiss at you 🗼🗼🗼❤️🇫🇷
Andy joined them on stage for a concert in Texas (Houston i think if i remember right) so they all sang it together that night. Andy was not on the recording for the album that i am aware of. But they sure looked to be having fun performing together.
If somehow you ever get the chance, if there's a special screening, an anniversary screening or something, and you get a chance to see Saturday Night Fever on the big screen, take the opportunity. One of the best music + film moments in cinema. It will get your adrenaline going. There's a reason the movie was so huge. John Travolta's dance solo to this song was a big part of it.
Yes that's Andy. He joined the band full time just before he passed away. Barry is still recording with his sons. Check it out, it's great. He is 75 years old and still cranking it out.
Andy was going to join the band but never got to do so. He died the year they planned to have him join. This was a one time appearance. RIP Rob and Mo. 💔💔
Yes this was a great series really therapeutic. Id like to see you keep adding songs youve got most of the familiar titles. I was !istening to my CD player album this entire month and i found out that i did purchase a two disc set from the Beegees i dont remember buying it but its got more songs than the best of album on Amazon
I saw a great video today called Man in the middle. Maurice sang it! He did a banger of a job! The lyrics were so real to life! Hope you have a chance to ck out another Great video from the Bee Gees!
Love you Bee Gees reactions. Been long while since you added one to playlist. Hope everything is ok with you and your family. So many great dongs you would love 1 Wedding Day (a pledge to their wives), 2 Kiss of life, 3 I will and 4 I could not love you more . Just to name a few. ❤❤

Love your reactions Devin you are so sweet and fun. Love to you and your lady from Memphis Tn.

training- he ran 2 miles a day and danced 3 hours every day for 9 months. lost 20 lbs.
Devin, I am Barry’s age but never truly appreciated these incredible talents until the pandemic. They are so so amazing and so much more than their disco era.
You need to listen to his current music, it's amazing.
Sad to know that Barry is the only Gibb we have left :( The Bee Gee's were so good.

Thats Andy
Electric is the correct word for sure. Barry really did exude electricity on this one. There are no bad Bee Gee songs.
I can think of plenty of bad ones honestly. They’re some of the greatest songwriters of all time but even they made terrible songs
I am 67 years old and grew up in this era love it still to this day you are so real
John Travolta had all the right moves!
❤❤❤❤
The 4 Brothers Gibb at their disco best! Props to John Travolta for shakin' it down! Thanks for your reaction.
Check out Cliser than close so you can hear Maurice singing lead!!!
RIP ANDY, MAURICE, AND ROBIN!!!!
That’s right..No bad Bee Gee song!
One of my top favorite groups!

Andy Gibb was a star in his own right. First artist whose first 3 singles hit #1 and only ever to kick a family member from #1.
h😅ha.. hey Dev I'm impressed you didn't fall off your chair!! nice moves bro ..
The guy dancing is John Travolta 💚
Maravilhosos! Gênios! Amoooooooooo!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👋👋👋👋👋👍🇧🇷
Andy looked JUST LIKE BARRY even though they were at least 12 years apart in age. So amazing....
