I have a question, I was in the military for 21 years and have ptsd and real bad anxiety and panic attacks now. So what kind of oil do you recommend for me to use ? Thank you 😊
Thanks for your question, and your service. The right product and dose depends a lot on your prior experience with cannabis and your specific symptoms. Assuming you are newer to cannabis and that your symptom is primarily anxiety, I would recommend something high in CBD and low in THC. Too much THC can make anxiety worse, while CBD can have anti-anxiety effects. If you have access to tinctures, this could be a product that is 5:1 CBD:THC. If you only have access to vape pens or flower, try and find a product that is fairly low in THC (15% or less). If you are not able to find this, then get the lowest THC product you can find and use a very small dose, like one hit from the pen or joint/bowl and see how you feel before taking any more. If you also have trouble sleeping, I recommend looking for a gummy that has THC and CBN. CBN can help you fall asleep, and THC can dampen dream activity. Again, start with a small dose (
@@PersonalPlants Thank you so much and yes I'm new to this. I live in SC but I can get Hemp products. I'm tired of feeling like a zombie and don't know if I'm coming or going. The SSRI's and other meds have to many side effects on my body. I just want to get the real thing because they are so many out there saying their are the best. I want to feel normal again. And GOD bless you for helping and teaching others.
@@armysnoopy1562 You are very welcome! If you have access to hemp products then you also likely have access to hemp derived Delta 9 THC in the form of drinks, gummies and vape pens. If you can find a low dose THC product, preferably with some CBD in it as well, that would be your best bet. Remember to start low and go slow. And, if you are currently on SSRI’s, do not stop them cold turkey. Ask your doctor how to slowly wean yourself off of them. If you feel comfortable talking to them about using cannabis, do so, but if you do not, then just talk to them about slowly reducing your SSRI dose.
@@PersonalPlants My doctor took me off all of them because it was making me worse, she said some people don't do good with meds like that. Thanks for all the great info and responding so fast. You are a lifesaver .
Great info,. Thank you both.
