I'm a 50yr old combat vet (USMC) and I've been using since I was a teen! Then I used it as a recreational drug to help me cope with what I was going through. Now as an adult I still use it but more medically as a PTSD relief, coping with pain from service related injuries I've acquired with time and to help keep me sane! Without it I'm fast to react, have anger issues and rage but when I smoke, (a gram a day keeps the dr away) I'm a nice person. I'm a gentler person. Caring. Loving. It helps me tremendously
Ok i hear you but just one thing how can you consume weed to ''cope'' and define this consumption as recreational? That does not sound recreational. I have been smoking weed and hash on daily basis for more than 15 years i smoke at home mainly when I am gaming but I would not call it recreational either. If you smoke to compensate for something or to cope then I do not think you can call it recreational.
You obviously didn’t read what he said. He initially used it as recreation, but now it’s more for medical. I’m the same. First curiosity, then recreationally, and finally medically, or a bit of both.
I discovered in Vietnam that marijuana helped my panic attacks and anxiety issues. After being out of Vietnam for several years I, still had ptsd issues. Thc products help me immensely. The VA has tried many weird anti anxiety drugs produced by big pharma and the side effects are horrible. The weed is all I need. I'm prescibed it by a very competent doctor. It's saved my life.
As long as you're in a state that has medical marijuana. The VA doesn't bother you. They cannot prescribe or recommend marijuana. You go to a private doctor that is certified to prescribe ( not VA doctor). Google VA and medical marijuana. It will explain it.
Have you tried prayer? I used to have horrible nightmares and visions of shadow figures while sleeping and while awakening. I began to pray regularly and the horrors subsided. Just a thought. God bless.
Yep me too. I have it on prescription for PTSD nightmares and night terrors - the night terrors don't bother me because I don't know I'm having them (that's the difference between terrors and nightmares - nightmares are remembered terrors are not) but I was waking other people in the house - I knew weed stops it so I got a script and I haven't had a nightmare or terror since starting and if I stop the dreams won't come back for about 3 months.
Matthew 11:28-30 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
My wife and I are both 81 yrs old. My wife suffers from severe neoropathy. We both started taking Sativa Cannabis oil about 7 years ago. She takes no other medication neither do I. We sleep well and the arthritis associated with our age is minimal. Not one person has ever died from cannabis overdose - check the stats yourselves
However it took both way over dosed edibles and eating a lot of them. It is extremely rare but CHS from cannibas is becoming more and more common and is an awful thing from heavy THC use.
@@larrytate1657so from what your stand on cannabis is , I can only believe you are against mRNA vaccine that is associated with myocarditis and blood clots that caused hundreds of deaths .

@belle2154 I have PTSD Social Agoraphobia Severe Anxiety & horrendous panic attacks & I sleepwalk but how I use weed & hemp 'controls' the 'Beast' within to a certain degree! Too much, I sleep deep but no more than 2 /3 hours max! Too little, I cannot function for love nor money! I Am trying so hard to find A 'Happy' Medium, without tipping the scales & blowing up big! @psynurse well considering it's very common that the people that get cancer usually get it again later on in life, I would defo say that if its been that long cannabis has defo kept it at bay!
After 8 years of smoking hash I developed a panic disorder and generalized anxiety disorder. It only started at the very end of my 8th year of consumption. After that, my life was never the same again. My life became a constant fight against relapses and I developed other mental disorder like depersonalization and depression. Went through all kind of anxiety disorder like agoraphobia. It took me years to get a bit of my life back and be able to go out or travel without being terrified. People in the comments seem to mostly give a positive feedback about cannabis consumption but I think warning younger generations about the risks is also really important. I can say that cannabis took a big part of my life away and I regret every day starting to smoke. I guess my life would have been way more happy and positive if I didn’t try cannabis at the age of 13
Thank you for sharing. I believe people need to make informed decisions, therefore they need to be realistic and honest with themselves about the potential effects of cannabis.
Were you tested or evaluated to identify hash as the main cause of your anxiety / mental health deterioration? Were you formally diagnosed with desensitization and depression? Which kind of treatment proved to be the most successful and lastly, what are the irreversible effects in your life? I know it's a lot of questions, but I'm asking from a point of awareness and to be educated.
I can understand your feeling I been there. I won't go in much detail but the solution to get better is the more you talk to people about your experience with weed the better you will get but only talk to people who have been experiencing same or similar problems with weed. Trust me you will get better. Let me put it this way I been smoking for long time and all the sudden I started experience anxiety and panic attacks. So I quit. I use to love smoking weed I still do but now the problem is everytime I smoke it gives me anxiety and panic attacks. This shit is a my mind so it will happened everytime I try. Life is never the same we have ups and downs in life. Sometimes we go through bad times and stress this is when we shouldn't take drugs, drink alcohol or smoke weed.😂 Pray and go do some training it will also help.
Yes it's not safe for everyone. It triggered Schizophrenia in my son when he was a teenager. The nightmare his life became is indescribable. He's now in his 40's and stabilised on prescription meds, which he has to take to prevent relapse. His siblings still smoke it and find it beneficial. "One man's sauce is another man's poison".
SORRY BEEN SMOKING POT, WEED. CANNABIS SINCE 1978. STILL SMOKE DAILY. STILL DRIVE. STILL WORK. STILL FUNCTIONING AND IVE SMOKED WEED FOR 46 YEARS. AND IM 55 😂
Still smoking. Judged Me endlessly, caused disconnection and addiction. Took my driving license away twice. Insurance 3000 pounds a year on a 1.2 littr car. Put me in prison for growing my own plant. Made sure finding a job is a struggle forcing me into crap roles. Have had to pay half my wage my entire life just to get high on a herb, wages haven't gone up in 15 years. Rents and house prices quadrupled. Fascists lite been in charge and destroyed the UK permanently. Nothing on the horizon to legalise. Government has monopoly over synthetic cannibinoids supplied to entire of Europe. 47 acre cannabis farm in Norfolk England. Nobody knows anything. No one learns anything. I suppose even om the streets, as long as I can beg to get abandoned weed each day. I will keep going
That’s too bad:/ I’m 24 and been smoking since 15 and I’m already ready to quit. It does so much more harm than people think… ruins your REM sleep, makes you lazy, changes your mood and appetite.
I've been smoking weed for over 57 years and I smoke constantly and have had zero problems. I get 20 different strains (1/8 ths), over 30% THC and mix them all together and doing just fine (Skateboarder, Pickleball, Rock Climbing, Surfing, train Boxers, constantly working out). I'm outgoing, never depressed and feel 100% mind/body.

Stop for a day, week, month or year and come back and tell me how you are coping in the real world with a sober mind. Been there done it all same as yourself. Relasp many times until I finally stopped smoking/vaping as dry flower.
Saved my life, I dont smoke much, but I am so less stressed and function way beter. Just knowing I can calm my brain and relax makes such a difference. For me reality is way to scary to face it sober 100% of time. I am healthy happy and productive. My 50's have been the best part of my life so far. For me a miracle drug, but just like everything else, not for everyone.
Me too, even back in the wild Wild West times…… not gona lie kinda like those times better, weed was different back then and knowing what I know now I would be a millionaire back then…. Or prison but I was just a dumb kid
I was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphatic cancer when I was 18 (3 years ago) and after treatment I started smoking weed, using cbd oil, edibles and Hhc pens. I feel so relaxed, calm, creative and open hearted towards everything. I sleep well and nearly all of my ptsd is gone. Anxiety levels are low and I also don’t feel the need to consume alcohol or any other substances to make me feel good. Conclusion; cannabis products are great if they’re good quality and not chemically induced too much.
Important correction note, edibles do not peak in 30 to 60 mins. In fact many people don’t feel the effects begin until 2 hours after ingestion. And they peak between 2 and 4.5 hours after ingestion. And can last 8 hours or longer after effects start, depending on the dose.
This is not exactly correct. The speed with which it acts has everything to do with when you eat/have eaten food. On an empty stomach, edibles can hit much, much faster. Within 20-30 mins if done correctly. If you have an edible after a meal, it could take hours to feel anything.
@@mandelaeffect1111 I thought I had this UNTIL I tried one of those Haribo sour belts? I had one during bedtime when I was watching tish on my phone. I remember being 25 minutes in on a Nukes Top 5 video and suddenly my head....it PANGED and the room started to spin. I knew exactly what was happening. I ate the whole damn fizzy belt. I had uncontrollable seizures and no matter what the white coats gave me it didnt help. One hit of cannabis and i haven't had a seizures in more then 10 years! Any questions?
Yes cannabis is very good for people with neurological problems, but not so good with others. I tried only twice in my life & my body didn't accept it at all. It also depends on the quality. What a waste of money, just like the cigarests. I am glad I managed to quit 22 years ago..
Eh. Thc lowered the threshold of seizures in about 40% of subjects and almost had no effect on the other, meaning it actually probably makes it easier to enter a seizure. Cbd was found to be effective in preventing seizures in all its clinical trials and its currently being made into a drug.
Smoked weed for over 40 years. About 2-3 weeks ago I had 2 nasty seizures haven’t touched the stuff since then. Those seizures were the best thing that happened to me. Life is so much better now that I’m not walking around in the weed fog. God is Good
I beg to differ. I have epilepsy, my consultant is fully aware of my use of cannabis and how beneficial it is to me, in reducing seizures, whilst improving my mood. "To make marijuana against the law is like saying that God made a mistake” - Bill Hicks
Paranoia from cannabis is from knowing you are risking your freedom by consuming an illegal substance. Some individuals worry about the consequences because of the unjust social infringement.
That’s definitely why I get paranoid. I don’t care if people call it bullshit, I live in a country where it’s completely illegal so every time I smoke I worry that one of my neighbors will smell it or notice it.
@@woosh2055 in that case your neighbours are snitches. Police shouldnt waste time fighting somebody smoking a joint lol and in most cases it isnt illegal to have such an amount on you so long as you can prove it isn't being sold or distributed. I've been stopped 3 or 4 times by cops, they just take it off you and give you a slap on the wrist
joints are a bit much, i think half a joint is enough for me. vaping is different -not was holistic in feeling but "safer" for casual use, since it doesnt kick as much -nicotine gives me acne, anemia and achign joints, so i avoid it
I'm the exact opposite. I enjoyed it so much back then and now one hit blows my head off. I miss it a lot but I just can't. Got plenty of shrooms though.😊
I am 48 years old, just your average Joe from the east coast of the UK. I started smoking ganja at age 13 and I still do today. Many things have changed since then but I remain a smoker of only weed. Now I can't tell you what im like inside im not a biologist and I can't see inside myself but what I can say is that from what I know its never done anything to me. I have done just about the worst things that you can do to your body I'm very lucky to still be here, I smoked cigarettes from the age of 11, took untold amounts of party drugs, prescription drugs, everything from class A to class C and I'm not proud of that. But these days I don't smoke tobacco, drink alcohol, or much else and I'm good so far from what I know.
I’m 73 and have smoked pot for 55yrs. Quit smoking cigarettes 10yrs ago. Lungs better. Arthritis not bad and have severe degenerative discs with very little Pain. Plus I have Bipolar Rxrx controlled. Sativa helps depression. And helps my focus. And stress as well. Means Less meds. When I want to relax it helps. Indica is good.
I have autonomic and peripheral neuropathy. Methadone, pill form, is the only medication which has allowed me to function normally. I'm only allowed so much now, which leaves the last hrs of my day in a bad state. I now take cbd/thc edibles to get me thru those hours, it's made a large positive effect on my ability to survive those last hrs and sleep without waking every 2 hrs.
I tried weed once in my life, when I was seventeen, me and a couple of other boys I was friends with managed to get some, and we started smoking it. I’m not going to lie, it was a fun and enjoyable experience, and I’m glad I at least tried it. But I felt so sick the following day that I decided it wasn’t for me. But I make no judgment if others wish to indulge in it. 😊
A first time smoker only needs 1 small puff, if you took anymore than that I can see why you don't wanna do it again. Even a big puff is too much for first time and is usually why alot of ppl have anxiety or get too high and never try it again. But hey idc either way just sharing knowledge.
The anxiety or paranoia depends on tour intension before you ingest and that's the case for most psychedelic substances. If you're thinking unhelpful thoughts you'll go down that route after ingestion
When I was a teen it was abused by myself and my friendship group. We displayed signs of addiction and mental health issues associated with the missuse and overuse. It shouldn't be used by minors at all in my opinion. When the brain is still developing it can have a wide variety of adverse effects. If you're 21 years plus I recommend trying if you're curious or interested but go for a proper medically monitored model so you know what you're smoking and how much.
I'm pretty sure your behavior was due to your hormonal changes happening in your body as a teenager. Marijuana had very little to do with your decisions but your home life and social value did. We are in control of what we do, the substance is not.
I agree kids will be kids. Imagine knowing what you know now.. when you were a kid.. want a puff still?? Lmao I'll be 30 at end of this year.. I've been smoking cannabis since the age of 13 honest
The thing is that dealers and shop will push a dominant indica strain as a sativa dominant strain and that makes me despise buying ganja nowadays. Id rather get me new surfboard or go on a trip than buy weed from people trying to hustle it rather than grow and sell it for quality. Just my opinion based on my recent experiences. Its not for me unless its fresh dank.
I am a Veteran with “issues” dealing with people and life in general. The medication the VA gave me did horrible things to my body. Only after I decided to switch to cannabis did my physical and mental health improve and I went from being 325 to 235 . I still don’t like people, but cannabis helps me cope with the lunacy of society’s current ways. 🇺🇸✌️🤪✌️🇺🇸
So many people justifying this habit. Former smoker here, quitting was the best decision ever made. Stop hiding in the cloud of smoke and face your demons. Life is too short to walk around in a smog ☮️ & ❤
If it’s legal it’s a free country man. People are going to do what they want to do. Before this was legal I knew a pot head I think everyone knows that’s a person who’s always high, never been one to want to always be high but some want to live life that way, it’s what makes us all different. Some need this to be chill and calm and don’t abuse it, some need it for medical purposes, to each their own
And? Perhaps it made you lazy? Diff strokes for different folks. Quitting once in a while is good and permanently for sum is a must. I know Quite successful professionals that toke and live happy healthy lives. Cheers!
Yes! 🙏🕊️ Best decision ever to stop smoking cannabis! It's not as harmless as people think and has severe effects on our brain function! All the comments here defending cannabis consumption is just their addiction talking through them!
Weed has lots Of medical benefits. I use to smoke everyday .now I smoke once or twice a month ,after long weeks of work as a reward . I rest very well my body feels medicated depending on the strain .Feels almost like a body massage especially on my joints , ankles , wrists , shoulders it feels so good instant relief of tension on the body it’s wonderful .
I have been a cannabis for many years . I totally agree some people will react totally differently why I don't know I don't consider this a bad thing people have to work it out for themselves. Weed and the different rarities can have big effects how it's grown. It's not bad but it can be very uncomfortable for some people.
Alcohol is horrible wish I never touched it. But smoke has helped me focus. And everything this man said makes sense. My wife gets paranoid. I told her because she does not use regular. Maybe I was wrong? So she don't use. But suffers with stress and anxiety. I manage mine. But been using to the point I have to find strong strains. So I need to stop and deal with it sober for a few months. Then start back slow. I do this every 3 to 4 years just to show it is just un the mind and not addicted to it. But it can be addictive depending on the person. It helps and hurts in areas. So I would say to research and find out what you need. It helps some and others maybe not. It is not the cure all for everyone. But I've seen it do many good things for people as well. Depending on you
I used to get anxiety too If you read my comment here I explain what I went through. And yes I did just take more and yes I love weed again and it hasn't made me paranoid since. But it does depend a lot (in my opinion) on the person. It may not be for everyone. Some people may only continue to get anxious. I would suggest trying in a “safe” environment with only safe people- you, and have the kids off to grammas for the weekend. Try it before bed, see if she can relax with you. I would not force it upon her, but if she wants to try that would be my suggestion for a first time. And as she gets to enjoy the euphoria (hopefully) she will be open to try again and eventually get to a point where she can comfortably navigate the sensations brought on and enjoy the other effects. I generally am trying to listen to my inner guidance system. Learning to listening within. You can heal yourself. The wisdom is within us.
There are many factors and variables that go into this and how it affects each person. Saying cannabis is good all around for everyone is simply untrue. I say this as a user of over 20+ years of daily habitual use, and now what was once a wonderful medicine and remedy has now become detrimental to my mental health and brain. I experience all kinds of symptoms that are very concerning to me and I think this needs to be considered and looked at deeper to be understood better.
45yrs here. I had to quit 3 weeks ago finally - and it was not from the Cannabis itself. I'm sure it's because I have smoked way too much nutrients and pesticides for 45 years

I've been smoking weed for 33 years. I have elhers danlos syndrome. Cannabis helps with the pain. Relaxes my muscles to the point that it stops me from pulling or damaging them. And I believe helps me avoid dislocations which are a big part of my illness. It also greatly helps my mental health.
What other benefits have you noticed with it? my son has sticklers syndrome. Being as these syndromes are very rare, there's no medical studies on it. Not even in Israeli medical studies which are decades ahead of any other country. I've been working with the herb for over 30 yrs making medicines and have seen so may success stories for a lot of illnesses. With sticklers I'm still studying. And learning. And there's very few people who have experience with it to talk to. I wish you nothing but blessings in your journey.
@@root12510 I haven't heard of that condition so I would have to know a bit more in order to work out if I can think of benefits that cannabis might give. The very best thing about it is that if injested it creates homeostasis throughout the entire immune system. And a balanced system is a far better equipped system to deal with anything thrown at it. Hope that helps but tell me more if you need a more in depth answer.
For me it definitely varies largely based on the specific plant genes. I get an array of all the effects, i notice when the anxiety is more pronounced or not. Usually the more sativa anxieties hit hard for the first hour or 2 then turn to more creative and humourous effects once that passes. The strain chocolope is an almost pire sativa and thats been the most tasty and euphoric/relaxing strain ive ever tried to this day.
Some indicas give me anxiety when they're too couch locky. Others are relaxing with a nice body buzzing sensation. So I can't put it down to sativa or indica being an overall preference. Many highly sativa strain plants actually make me tired.
@@DavisMultiverse. I think there’s a balanced mix strain that checks all the favorite boxes, like the old days before everything was being cultivated for max thc
i got stressed as a kid very hard... cannabis helped me just to forget this and go on with life, live, LOVE and yeah, get over it... cant imagine if i only drank alcohol....
Yes cannabis is a medicine, its anti-inflammatory, helps with most cancers, many nerve disorders, epilepsy, PTSD, etc. But I don't think is good for everybody, it does make people too lazy, brain fog & forgetfulness, it's very addictive for some & opens the door for other addictive substances.
It is a bioavailable chemical as we produce it ourselves, so it's not like alcohol or cocaine or most other drugs that are completely synthetic. We're basically just increasing a feel good chemical that we produce ourselves to again... feel good.
Been using weed for many years to greatly increase my quality of life due to epilepsy. It makes me able to get on with having a normal life and undertaking normal tasks. God bless cannabis 😊
I am not against any natural herbs , but like anything in life to much of anything can become a bad thing . Smoking ,can cause cancer. I have known many people also experience psychosis, paranoia etc .., This needs to be talked about too .
I'm now 35, have smoked since I was 11. Turns out I have ADHD and autism lately diagnosed, no medication or anything can calm or focus me anywhere as fast but understand the harmful side effects are real no matter how much you think your ok.
Thanks for bringing this subject with such honesty, knowledge and transparency. I'm the kind who used to relax with that but at the very beginning I used to have panic attackd that led me to faint, then is stabilized and then the panic attacks came back and never left. I then realized it wasn't for me and simply hate it. I also regret those times. Nothing is better in life than bring in full control of your thoughts and emotions, something I achieved through meditation. The benefits of it were incomparable to my life.
Sadly, my ex husband got diagnosed with schizophrenia at the age of 51, after being heavy weed smoker for more than 30 years. On top of all other issues...So no, weed is not for everyone.
I smoked weed for 50 years and stopped 2 years ago and I have not felt so much better from not smoking. It ruined my life and health and I wouldn't sabotage my life ever again. My eyes are alive and my skin glows and I'm finally happy and I dont have anxiety any longer. I gave never been prouder of myself.
The bottom line, herb affects every individual as an individual, and differently depending on the individual herb plant you smoke. Sounds like an intelligent medicine, having a 1:1 relationship with the patient. Straight from JAH 💚🙏🏼
If you smoke but need help finding strains that are right for your needs, research terpenes, then find which strains are high in those terpenes that you prefer. Those are what really decide the effects as well as taste/smell.
I started a religion which uses Cannabis as part of a practice and within the teachings of a martial arts system these things you experience you experience anyway you just dont notice it until youve tried marijuana
Given that Martial arts are taught so with the sole intention of so you can defend yourself from anything some Martial arts teach medical stuff like shin conditioning for example this isn't the same thing in mind it just aims at you being able to control yourself enough to keep doing what you do and benefit from it in my religion it's to learn about life and time travel because I don't believe in death yes life can end we aren't immortal or anything like this just Death isn't all its made out to be frequent energy changes all the time I've had multiple seizures and I feel a character change to be honest not because of weed just other factors like no food or optimising meals because of lack of blood to flow you have to have some serious level of self control to carry on with a head injury like if you think in a certain way like say the memory hippocampus was bleeding it would hurt to remember anything amd it would cause more bleeding so think of something completely new and you have no memory to reflect on look back or something like when you were first born just this level of control is practical in many ways
Been diagnosed with glaucoma back in 2019, heard it lowers eye pressure, just 1 reason I have to smoke, just working on how much I smoke. I do love the positive benefits. Helped me get off alcohol too!

So after being on various opioids for 13 years and 6/10 or 5/10 pain control my meds were gone. It took 3 months of HELL going through the withdrawal process. For 3 years I suffered every waking mintue of everyday of intense pain. That is until a few months ago when I turned to weed. Im 63 BTW. My pain is 0/10 now! I don't really like being stoned all the time, but it feels really nice to not hurt...😊
35 years old, started smoking marijuana in highschool. This past year I have experienced anxiety and panic attacks when smoking. I only tried smoking twice in the past 5-6 months. It had a very strong effect on me and shortly after smoking I passed out. My eyes rolled in the back of my head and I collapsed without any warning signs. I tried once again and I was too high with strong anxiety and panic to the point I didn't trust myself to drive. I think I'm done after being a daily smoker for over 20 years.
38 years on weed, stopped and now my GAD and mood swings have gone. Will never go back to it, I'm one of those wired in a different way and it makes my preexisting neuro issues worse. My wife can't believe the change.
Most pot heads are miserable, insufferable and in deep denial about what weed does to their personalities. But look at how pleasant and supportive they are in the comments even though it's all bullshit to justify their addiction. It's funny. The truth is known about the pot head. It's very rare to find a veteran pot head who is balanced, productive, successful, positive and sociable. I don't know any personally.
I was a heavy smoker for 15 years, just quit and realized how deceptive it is. All the things I thought it helped me with were actually the catalyst of the problem I needed it to help me with. I don't recommend it anymore
Of course it is! The problem here is that people tell everyone that its totally healthy and wont make you addicted. Thats bs! If it helps, do it! No problem but stop telling others to do it.

I used to get paranoia and panic attacks when I smoked sativa, I would think my throat was closing and I was dying, and that was after being a user for almost 10 years, but now I enjoy sativa and no panic attacks because I chose the "just smoke more" method, and one day I was having a panic attack and I said to myself "I was fine every other time this happened, I'll be fine now" and my panic attacks abated completely. My therapist calls this "trial by fire" but it is also a little CBT, questioning my beliefs about my experience. I would like to note that I have schizophrenia, the first time hearing voices was while high on cannabis, and previously diagnosed with bipolar disorder before that, after being overprescribed by the drugs that treat those disorders as a teen. But, off topic.
The v.a had me on a 1000 milligrams of morphine for over a decade for all my surgeries turned me into a straight addict. I quit smoking marijuana years ago and I feel so much better, it’s nice to enjoy life and laugh without having to be high! The marijuana of today is not the marijuana that I grew up with, they were all kinds of toxic chemicals on marijuana today, and I’ve read studies from the national health Institute and from other Ivy League universities on the East Coast that show how toxic those chemicals really are to our bodies, we would’ve been better off just leaving marijuana as a natural plant like it used to be in the 70s. It was mellow.
Yes I agree these growers just want to grow these plants with the highest THC.. meanwhile theres no CBD in it to balance it out and plus lots of additives as well
Cbd ingested is alright when you suffer from too much stress and insomnia. I was suffering from half a year of insomnia ,waking up in the middle the night daily 3 am. 4 am 1.am. . cbd has helped me finally fall asleep but in LOW Dosages . I agree with the memory that it does mess around with . I stand with this man on this point of view but brother i finally had a wonderful restful nap. So i dont know i am not. A scientist or anything close to it but i experience it first hand and it beats smoking tobacco and drinking . So i think moderate use is ok . Kudos on the video bro thank you for informing the users of cannabis what the long run effects could produce . 👍

Always good to take a T-break and it can be addictive just like anything else; sugar and black coffee are worse for me. Help a busy mind to unwind and enjoy being in the moment. Always start slow and enjoy responsible and don't drive.
I had experienced the paranoia and anxiety states of mind till like 2 years ago. From then, i have got ok with that and kinda transform it to similar states of mind which i have known since my childhood
We do so much to encourage not using any substance based on health reasons only. While that sounds logical, truthfully people discard many health risks for pleasure and sometimes for necessity. Sometimes out of ignorance. Point being, that's not enough. It's not jarring enough. Anything that inebriates or takes us from our sober, or true selves threatens connection to God. It's spiritual. I say threaten because in some cases I am in total belief that certain substances actually and probably were meant to take us to a higher spiritual realm in order to gain connection. As contradicting as it sounds. The problem comes in the substance becoming or taking place of the source that we all are trying to stay in contact with. When these drugs or substances become the source and not a periodic avenue to the source, the problems start. All these health risks are not universal but what is, is the results from over indulgence of anything. The synthetic stuff I can't speak on, but I'm talking substances that are of the earth. The warning should be a spiritual one.
This is very insightful on a spiritual level - I feel you're right. I've been an everyday consumer. In my case I was a full atheist after religious upbringings. I read a lot of books on science and the world, and I was always the very and overly rational type of dude. After taking weed, more and more connections and questions opened up about science, the world, wether there is a designer or not. I now find that science and religion are both intertwined and complete eachother. I've been a daily smoker, and honestly I have very mixed feelings. Paranoia may be present since an incident with a neighbour who reported me to the German police, before legalization. I'm in an internal conflict everyday since I over-use and over-indulge, and it's tiring. It's great because it opened my life to a spiritual side I never took as reality - now it feels like a burden. I try to pray from time to time, I should be doing it more. I see more and more hidden messages and connections left by God. I need to restore the soberer part of myself but I just can't seem to. Any suggestions?
@stranded8088 Man, I'm in exactly the same spot!🤣 It just means that it's time. You can, just like I can and am. As far as suggestions, I believe that it's a matter of realizing that everything that comes with that realm that weed puts us in is already here. It's already a part of us. The peace, the creativity, the focus, the relaxation. The conflict within is because we are God, in a reduced form. It no longer agrees because you and me both know that by realizing that we realize that although it's use served and in my opinion serves a good purpose, it is not a part of our true and yes sober selves. Once that's realized, the disobedience of self leads to the paranoia. The self is God, my brother. It's in the scripture, and I can't point you to it, but it's spoken in various parts of the Bible and various other religious texts. Higher levels aren't meant for everyone. Some people I truly believe need to smoke or medicate , however, it is supposed to be to find our way through the maze of understanding not to have a good time at the party. Once that understanding is achieved, true acknowledgment of the understanding is to relinquish the vice. Otherwise, whatever that vice is is "the God before him," which is of the ten highest commands we are not to violate. Nobody is perfect, but certain ones cause vibrations that disturb the peace of life. Man, I'm just like you and a bunch of us. Blessed with the knowledge, but fighting for the wisdom which is the actual doing. To become wise is to do the "better " that we know. Understanding the whole journey will come after that. I'll see you on the other side of the understanding, I'm going to get mine. Believe what yourself is telling you. I recommend a book for you to: "Spirituality Before Religion " by Professor Kaba Kamene. You linked the two perfectly early on in your comment.
It is essential for me to function. But, I also agree with the lady that said it is medicine and all medicines are for all people. Very correct! While we are all the same we do have genetic differences at a cellular level which is the determinant of what my body thrives with, and your body might not thrive with my formula. I will add that I believe it depends on if the individual is 100% humankind or not.
So in my opinion it's all about self-awareness. I experienced both cases you are talking about. Even there can be even more, like being happy and laughing about everything (for example). As you say weed affects the brain and we need to understand that it's our brain, our mind. We can controll it. You have to be in full controll over your mind to take weed succesfully. Paranoia are just thoughts about unfamiliar things that we think we can't control and we're afraid about or scared of. But you can controll your own thoughts.
Embrace the come down as well, its the best bit of the high input has equal output as in "the lord givith and the lord taketh away" ride out the come down amd allow the memory to remember amd allow an actual progress and no need for Marijuana
🙏
Ok i hear you but just one thing how can you consume weed to ''cope'' and define this consumption as recreational? That does not sound recreational. I have been smoking weed and hash on daily basis for more than 15 years i smoke at home mainly when I am gaming but I would not call it recreational either. If you smoke to compensate for something or to cope then I do not think you can call it recreational.
You obviously didn’t read what he said. He initially used it as recreation, but now it’s more for medical. I’m the same. First curiosity, then recreationally, and finally medically, or a bit of both.
Hey Raul ptsd is heavy, glad you are experiencing more calm. Keep being kind to yourself.... the most important part of breathing is exhaling!!
Exactly it works for me prescribed .
I'm a Desert Storm combat vet and can definitely attest to the side effects of the meds! Can you give me any pointers on how you found that doctor?
As long as you're in a state that has medical marijuana. The VA doesn't bother you. They cannot prescribe or recommend marijuana. You go to a private doctor that is certified to prescribe ( not VA doctor). Google VA and medical marijuana. It will explain it.
Makes my anxiety worse , would be nice if it didn't
The anxiety is coming from you, not the reefer. Find out what is really triggering your anxiety, I guarantee you, it’s not the pot.
Im 61, have had horrific nightmares all my life, trauma repeated since i was 3, started smoking weed at 45, im so gratefull
Shrooms will be better for that only takes one trip to get cure
Have you tried prayer? I used to have horrible nightmares and visions of shadow figures while sleeping and while awakening. I began to pray regularly and the horrors subsided. Just a thought. God bless.
@@yooolee2593no shrooms can make you lose your sight of reality forever

There has been now 2. From overly heavy doses edibles and the young men ate a lot of them. Went into a coma and passed. Look it up.
However it took both way over dosed edibles and eating a lot of them. It is extremely rare but CHS from cannibas is becoming more and more common and is an awful thing from heavy THC use.

I won't go in much detail but the solution to get better is
the more you talk to people about your experience with weed the better you will get but only talk to people who have been experiencing same or similar problems with weed. Trust me you will get better.

Yes it's not safe for everyone. It triggered Schizophrenia in my son when he was a teenager. The nightmare his life became is indescribable. I was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphatic cancer when I was 18 (3 years ago) and after treatment I started smoking weed, using cbd oil, edibles and Hhc pens.

Eh. Thc lowered the threshold of seizures in about 40% of subjects and almost had no effect on the other, meaning it actually probably makes it easier to enter a seizure.
Cbd was found to be effective in preventing seizures in all its clinical trials and its currently being made into a drug.

I have been smoking for a long time, weed is a drug it is not a medication I think can be honest about it.

The thing is that dealers and shop will push a dominant indica strain as a sativa dominant strain and that makes me despise buying ganja nowadays. Weed has lots
Of medical benefits.
Let's legalise cannabis globally.
Depending on you
I used to get anxiety too
If you read my comment here I explain what I went through.

Since 2011, virtually 13 yrs going with no flaws. Help keep steady and FOCUS 💪

We're basically just increasing a feel good chemical that we produce ourselves to again... feel good.
Not everyone, plus alcohol makes some people feel good while if they smoke cannabis they feel awful.
Been using weed for many years to greatly increase my quality of life due to epilepsy. It makes me able to get on with having a normal life and undertaking normal tasks. God bless cannabis 😊

I have peripheral neuropathy I've been excruciating pain for years. I also have spine and hip pain.
4 years ago doctors started freaking out over opiods and quit writing Rx.

Smoking weed for the last 54 years. Only positive results. Alcohol on the other hand is a killer.
So you got schizophrenia by smoking that shit
Absolutely
Yes I agree these growers just want to grow these plants with the highest THC.. meanwhile theres no CBD in it to balance it out and plus lots of additives as well
Cbd ingested is alright when you suffer from too much stress and insomnia. I was suffering from half a year of insomnia ,waking up in the middle the night daily 3 am. 4 am 1.am. . cbd has helped me finally fall asleep but in LOW Dosages .
Best Sativa i know is the « Jack Herer » strain ❤

So in my opinion it's all about self-awareness. I experienced both cases you are talking about. Even there can be even more, like being happy and laughing about everything (for example).
As you say weed affects the brain and we need to understand that it's our brain, our mind. We can controll it.
You have to be in full controll over your mind to take weed succesfully.
Paranoia are just thoughts about unfamiliar things that we think we can't control and we're afraid about or scared of.
But you can controll your own thoughts.
