Penistone parkrun [] Full Send PB Attempt with PoV [] How hard would YOU work for a parkrun PB?

- I have run my local parkrun, Penistone, on sixteen occasions. My best time up to Saturday was 22:49. Could I dip under that time at the seventeenth time of asking? Also how hard do you push when going for a parkrun pb?

Handy to have a parkrun and an old railway within a short stagger from home! Well done to Dawn and John must be getting fitter as he hardly looked like he was trying at all there - well running not filming that is LOL.
It's a fantastic section of
old railway line. 10 miles near us with just 1 road crossing, so good for out and back 20 milers. 🙂

If we are ever that way we’d definitely give this course a go. Just so we can say we ran The Brooms local!
There’s a place called Broom not too far from here… no parkrun though which is a shame. You’d definitely have to do that one if it ever got started 😊

There's a few streets named Broom. In fact, I believe John lived on Broom Hill when he was at university. 🙂

Yes, that's just my age-best pb on that course. On a flat course, I've done low 21. 🙂

Good to see you both. From the last corner to the finish I once timed a couple who were walking and it took less than a minute so I have a good idea how long it’ll take me now as a maximum. In relation to the bridge repairs I’m not sure the Victorian’s had done much privatisation and I think that may now be a factor when comparing timings 😁
They probably didn't have as much 'red tape' either.
