I’ve been watching Stacey on his channel for a while now.. he seems like a very cool cat and always interacting with the locals (best be can) when he’s out and about. Glad you got to interview him on your channel. 👍🏾✌🏾
I think the size issue is frame of mind. As Americans, we're told you need more space for "stuff". Once you realize you don't need all that stuff, you don't need the extra space. Really, you just need a place to sit, sleep, eat, and a bathroom. That place has all that.
That's true..Im Swedish and brought up with the Swedish/nordic lifestyle called "lagom" meaning " not to much - not to little - just perfect" look it up.. That’s one of the dopest parts of residency in Thailand is the properties are already furnished, with rentals and purchased properties from what I’ve seen. I gotta give you “mic props” this time Zay, since I was the mic police last vid lmao!
Ha! That guy. I saw his channel and then he did a apartment video tour with a another brother from the UK. Place was dope. You're making me want to get up and move the Bangkok. I would love to see an interview with your other friend that has been to other countries like Brazil and Columbia in ask him why he's in Bangkok. I know he briefly answered it but a more in-depth interview would be great as someone who is now trying to leave again and things have changed a lot lately so I'm really having a difficult time making a decision as to what side of the world I want to live on and what the pros and cons are
Stacey is really a funny dude! I have been checking Facebook market place and finding even more affordable places for rent in Bangkok. I need fast internet for my work and that would be the only reason I would not move to the Philippines! I would also buy a cheap motorbike or a small car to get around. I use the gym for working out but to explore I would get a cheap ride like another guy I see. His Honda was like $1500 and he goes all over. Cannot wait to come over! Great Video!!
nice view and nice condo over all for the price. it is away from Terminal 21. i want to be close to terminal 21 which has clean food. I am not eating street food. LOL
If you want an affordable place near T21, check out the ashton. not as nice or new as some of the other options but affordable and its the building next to T21. Plus the MRT is right there too.
Another good interview and condo tour, thanks! Pool situation… scary though 😮 The elevators, weird! Who thought that up? Can someone explain why that’s a good idea?
My only problem with this studio apartment is the lift, if there’s a fire you should never use a lift to exit the building only the stairs. But where are the stairs ?
It's all subjective with space. If you're from NYC or Northeast, L.A., Chicago, it's similar sizes in buildings so for them it's a steal. If you're from the South or lived in a residential house then it's obviously not going to be your preference but you have to try it out first.
You have to watch your Cholesterol because of the cheap oil they use but I have been told the street food is safer because they buy the food is bought fresh that morning.

I have seen a few of your videos. Here is some constructive criticism, you need to do better with your camera work. I watched this video to see the private elevator, and you dropped the ball. Next time, turn around and show the elevator. Show what part of the condo it arrives into... what the elevator looks like from standing inside. Is it just a single door, are there two different doors? When he said "it comes up into the kitchen" you should have showed all of that... Also, do better with the gyms, walk around, and show each piece of equipment. Pull back on the zoom so we can see more of the shot. Otherwise good job.
I see the CDC has list of like 15 vaccinations they recommend for visiting thailand. Also any casinos there? And what about gangs, do they own the bar girls? Seems safer then south america i imagine. But still connected to other sketchy countries.
Good condo but alittle to central and "hi-so area"(high society) for my taste ..and that price must be airbnb or 3 month rental? I live about 25 min away with mrt subway and pay 280$ for a 48 sqm 1 bedroom condo 1 year contract with pool gym free wifi etc in a more middleclass thai area where many of the restaurants doesn't have the English menus and prices for food and clothes etc are more...normal.
Hey man just subscribed. I have 100k saved and have been thinking about moving outside of the US, but I don't have any online stream of income. I'd appreciate your insight on moving there with that much, but no income?
Honestly if you have $100k saved, one how old are you? And two I believe you can find plenty of ways to take even part of your $100k and create multiple streams of cash flow easily that would cover your living expenses here.
Idk if my comments are being deleted, but I'm 35. I still like to live life like I'm 25 tbh, no wife, no kids, I still like to go out, I can move around you know. Thailand looks great, reminds me of NYC but cleaner. Any guidance on what I can do to start a stream of online income I'm all ears. Appreciate it
I can't believe that you have a young man on your show who can't cook. That is really embarrassing. He is from out west so he has no idea what an American city is like. When I was his age I was living in a much nicer condo on the upper East Side of Manhatten which was a good bit larger. We had a pool and gym on the roof with a view of the NYC skyline. We had so many nice restaurants in the area which were relatively inexpensive. Brunch in the area was under $4.00. You never needed a car. I have spent a good bit of time in Southeast Asia but I had traveled throughout a large part of the United States. It is sad that young people do not know the museums in American cities. I love the Chinese National Museum in Taipai... There is great fried chicken in Korea, particularly Busan where I taught for two and a half years. Malaysian chicken Satay is wonderful. It is frilled over charcoals with a peanut sauce. It is sad to see young Black men from the more backwater areas od the United States isolating themselves from Black culture. Arizona and Nevada would be fine if you guys were middle-aged and had be exposed to jazz and art. It is sad to see young people who only know hip hop which the commercial media pushes and then they try and compare Bangkok to America. Bangkok can't compare to NYC, LOL. Learn your culture and then the world so you will have a point of reference that relates to you.
