I really want the Xmaxx for the size and the fact that its not as heavy as my Kraton 8s.. With it being plastic it probably moves like an 1/8th scale. The issue is you need the steel gears, new servo, and a Max 6 esc with IC5 connectors. Thats like $400 added on to the $1100 price.
Great video. So, is this the new Ultimate released vehicle, or a previous version upgraded with the Wide Kit and other hop-ups? Cool end result. Would love to see a video of it running.
Awesome video. Thanks for the tips I will have to get the upgraded servo and bellcrank. The only mod I suggest you didn’t add is the rpm captured hinge pins. Make sure that customer doesn’t care about flips if he gets the belted tires. My Xmaxx has terrible air control with belted tires compared to the non belted sledgehammers.
Theeee Ultimate X-Max. Now it needs shock covers.
Awesome information 👏. I am going to come past the shop one day.
Thanks for sharing 👍

This is the original version with the upgrades we would call “ultimate”. The wide version with 600 series servo is an amazing setup.
