They handle so well. I got to test drive one. I ended up pre-ordering 4. I will get the other two versions when they come out. I wish they would make the Ross Chastain Busch Light Fannel scheme Nascar Body. It is so sick-looking!
Roll off the throttle before the corner and get back to the throttle mid corner and like your friend said don’t drift. Slows you down.. can’t wait to get one and try it out on the velodrome
They rarely ran 200mph and the next gen car is hardly capable of running over 190 without a draft. That being said 200mph at 1/12 is only around 18mph. These should reach that fine
That brushed system runs scale NASCAR speeds. And you would be surprised what a brushed motor can do speed wise. I race 1/10 scale carpet oval and road course and the bush class we call it is a brushed 20turn spec motor and a 1s lipo and we are doing 45 mph in a oval. And my legend car with the 2s lipo and same brushed motor turned all the way up speed wise it will put run alot of brushed setups
Yeah this is a new class bro, like you said!! Awesome. There is so much room for upgrades(for that class) and it have a feeling these are going to sell out for a minute. Better get em when you can! In my opinion
I have some tt02 cars and a couple Kyosho Fazer Mk2.... the K cars drive pretty nicely... the TT02 takes a lot to makenthem track relatively straight and steer decently... How is the slop and stering on this car? This looks like a nice platform for an entry level onroad racing class or some fun parking lot oval action...
Nice first look! I'm not sure LTO is a new way to race RC, but these 1/12 NASCAR are really sweet, and that scale should be perfect for your new concrete racing pad!
Washington state 1 r/c will be having a class of these cars. And the last time i counted we had about 10 on pre order. Cannot wait to get this winter series started.
I'm out of Roseburg, OR and I'm hoping we can get enough for a class down here. I already run the 1/10 Tub TC with a Fazer MK2 out of that facility. I haven't heard officially who's ordered it. But There's enough interest that they've got knowledge of the platform. I ordered the Ryan Blaney for my starter and 2 blank Ford bodies to paint up. Along with the adjustable camber links and spare suspension bits. I expect to break something, I just don't know what. It won't be an oval track, but the Gen7 car was built to do road courses, so it'll be a fit no matter where it goes.
Not sure on wheelbase, but it's 3" shorter in total length than the 4Tec 2.0. It's 5" longer than the LaTrax Rally though, so probably closer to the 4Tec than a Mini.
@@kylekallies3381 In the member's only section, you can see me driving it along side an 1/18th scale 1RC late model. There is a pretty big difference in size between the two.
We didn't want to do anything to the tires since they were prototypes and had to be sent back. I use non-chlorinated brake cleaner to clean slicks. It works very well, then a little tire sauce depending on the surface.
Pretty informative video definitely shared passion for lettered tires! Do you think after having the prototypes that they would be able to benefit from a sway bar mod?
@@ExocagedRC I think I want to pour a small pad out back just for these little guys. I’ve been finishing concrete for 20 years so I really can’t stop thinking about it. How big do you think I need to go joe

Nascar & touring car. I honestly believe redcat did theirs 2wd so it's comparable to Nascar. All other on-road 4wd I raced was touring car. Irregardless of what body is 'fitted' to the chassis.🤷♂️
No need for more power but may be even a smaller and more efficient motor and you need to strip parts and other lightening tricks for your tight and slipper track.

I'm happy to see any new rc car design and release. This one isn't for me. I just can't get into the small stuff. I tried the MJX 14209123466789 whatever. It's fast but small cars bounce. There just isn't enough travel for decent suspension. I haven't tried a little on road car so maybe it's different. I just can't imagine wanting to drive a on road car and grabbing this over the Infraction.
I promise yall that brushed motor woth a 2s battery is way more then enough piwer for oval racing on a track like he is on or a carpet track. Really it could be turned down and he would run faster times with out all the tire spins

I'm the friend! If the wheels are spinning, the car is not going forward. That's my theory. Drifting is fun but not efficient.
Losi research team: how fast do cars from NASCAR run? Oh, around 200mph you say?
Also Losi: Throw a brushed motor in it.
😂😂😂
This is why we have the aftermarket. But honestly 200 scale MPH at 1/12 isn’t very much.

No ballast. Move all the electronics to the left side.
Losi/arrma should make a left side electronics and motor chassis . An oval conversion.
