The limited fords are phenomenally detailed elements that make the trucks stand out with a massive luxury and high class appearance, the Powerstroke Limited is my ♥️♥️♥️ 💯💯💯
I currently drive a 2017 Limited and I appreciate the difference that is Limited. I’ll look for 2023 upgrade hoping Ford will put the same large screen from the Lighting in future Limited’s
i've always had ford trucks as second and 3rd cars however as i aged i now drive only late model Lariats fully loaded, no need for the top level and of course the Coyote 5.0. It's also interesting to watch prospective owners coming to Delta Marine to have a 50m yacht built drive a f150.
I don't think carbon fibre with limited trims make any sense it should be brushed metal or a nice finished wood or both but not carbon fibre that's more of a sporty look to me
I just walked in the door and said I should buy a new limited and drive it till it falls apart because I have a black 2013 limited with the black interior red seat centers and split 6 spoke 22s pearl paint projector head lights but it's my company truck and it has 280k miles abusive miles miles in the heavy metal industry that's pulling loads skid steers all that but I think this truck looks more modern but the 13 is much more attractive overall if it was freshened up it would be better looking so off to the ram video
I had an '18 and '19 Limited. I love the big bold letters across the front hood. The Platinum is the poor man's version of the Limited. Tried like heck to find a '21 Limited with the lay flat seats. No luck. Traded the '19 Limited for a '21 gen 3 CO Raptor. Wished I had known you were in town I'd treated you to lunch and a tour of the city.
What is the purpose of the raptor other than a hot rod to pick up your groceries with. It’s not a truck at all. You talk about a poor mans truck. A Damn truck is for purpose, construction, you name it. If your truck does not have a box that is bigger than 6’ it is not a truck. It is a damn over grown station wagon.
Poor man's version how is that? I have a 2021 Plat, I could have gone wit the Limited but I needed the 6.5' box. With the limited its not an option 5.5' only. I was able to spec out everything the limited has including the lay flat seats with the exception of the 22" rims. And just a FYI the Limited I was gong to purchase $85K my Plati came in at 82K and some, they are the same truck. Limited just comes standard with all options Plati allows you to remove options if not needed. Anybody purchasing the Plati can purchase the Limited. Save the Poor mans comment
I think this looks the best out of any half ton top luxury trim truck. But I’d still probably choose the Ram limited. Can be had with smaller 20” wheels and air suspension which makes it ride better. Also it costs about $5k less than the Ford even with every option. Edit: I just built and priced both for fun, the difference is actually $6.5k less for the Ram. Both spec’d exactly how I’d want (no hybrid, no diesel).
Hmmm, I specked them and they were virtually the same price and ford gave me lots of features standard that Ram didn’t even have. I guess the phrase “how you want” is key.
@@bradarmstrong7467 idk either man, I cant seem to build an F150 Limited without it being over $82k, meanwhile the Ram Limited tops out at $77k with every option, even the 22” wheels which I wouldnt get. And Im not even including the hybrid powertrain or any of the upgraded propower onboard stuff on the F150.
I just did the comparison and if you included 22” wheels to compare apples to apples the best you can (you can’t really because everything in a loaded Ram plus lots more Ram doesn’t have is standard in the F150 there is a 2500. Difference in price. But Ford includes suede head liner, lockable storage under back seat, deployable step in tail gate, blue cruise hands free driving, massaging seats, standard 2.0 kw power on board generator, power drop and lift tailgate, over the air firmware updates and you can’t get those at any price from Ram. Now if you do just keep the 20” rims yes it’s an extra 2,000 cheaper but ford includes lots of stuff you can’t get from Ram.
So they do in front, and they offer massage seats up front, locking storage under rear seat, true hybrid fuel economy and power, 10 speed tranny, hands free driving (blue cruise) fold out table, lay flat seats, better towing and payload, power down and up tailgate, and of course, a 7.2 kw generator to power anything from RV, worksite to your home in an emergency. Ram has non of those things. Oh darn Ford only has a heated but not ventilated rear seat. Pleeeeaase.
@@slingerriggin5226 I have owned both and frankly your off your rocker, the limited Ram has nice stitching, cool. But the Limited F150’s new gauge cluster is head and shoulders better, I was fine with Rams until I saw the new ford’s and there is no way I would settle for the Ram’s anymore, the center stack and screen is much more ergonomic in the Ford. The landscape layout allows for much more real estate given for the application your running, the HVAC controls in the Ram not only take up room on the screen but aren’t as intuitive and easily operated as the Fords. In 32 hours and My body wasn’t ever stiff or “tired” I just got sleepy, (stopped for cat naps twice) That never could have happened in the Ram. Just turned in a Ram Laramie rental. I simply see no comparison in the feel of the truck. F150 is has a way more connected feel to the road. My opinion. Yes, I'm F150 owner but currently in the market and looking at all available options/brands as all the current 1/2ton's are beautiful looking. Renting each of them is really helping. The Ram Limited and F150 Limited still don't seem in the same playing field. F150 bed scales, CCD suspension dampening, Solid rear glass is way more classy, 7.2K generator, more powerful engine/better mileage, completely flat rear floor, center work console, etc. Ram has none of that? They are not even close? I know the Ford haters gonna hate but really the biggest comment for Ram is air cooled rear seats? Not saying the Ram is not an amazing truck too but just don't see the limited's as equals.
Wow.. Thanks for this perspective man. I came and found this channel today after I saw a guy leaving work getting into a F 150 Limited dir this first time. I didn't even know Ford had a Limited but I stopped the guy and told him how nice his truck was, it was bad ass, had to come look further 👍
To an extent, theyre air pockets that inflate and deflate to reduce fatigue. Not true massage. Unless they changed it last year, that’s what has always been in Fords
Please do Everyone a favor Ben and stop "Pointing" at Every Single Thing you callout in your videos. It's very distracting and it ultimately obscures the picture either by blocking the actual thing your trying to talk about, or the camera focuses on your hand ultimately blurring the background which is the very thing you're trying to show. Your videos are great and very informative but please do everyone a favor and please stop pointing at everything, look there is a giant 22" tire and rims, absolutely no need to point at it. We all know what your talking about because you're actively pointing the camera at the tires and I'm sure everyone watching most likely knows what TIRES are so there is no need to physically POINT at it. The RAM truck just seems so much nicer than my Ford's lately. Especially the 1500 Limited RAM vs. F150 Limited model.
Yeah as another commentor mentioned, this is very clearly a 2021 Limited.
