The Sky dweller is Rolex model Rolex has to offer in todays catalog. It’s unique and the most complicated Rolex movement ever made

Great to hear the honest feedback. It’s great to hear your opinions on the entire Rolex range… future videos? How about picking a range of used watches from the top brands for different price points? I.e. one week best for under 5k, then next week best for under 10k etc

I paid £22K for a 2023 Blue Sky and happy to hear I wasnt off the mark - having said that I bought it for myself as I had always wanted one - it wont be being sold on - none of my watches ever have been. There is a clear difference between prices paid by flippers and those that want a particular watch

These type of videos are great to watch and informative, even if you’re not in the market to buy at the moment. I’d like to see a lot more, and perhaps covering other brands, for instance the new Omega world timer models. I’m thinking of buying the new titanium one and it would help to know if I wanted to sell it on after a while what I could expect to get for it.

So my AD who is a friend of mine at Watches Of Switzerland said they've never had a Sky-dweller come in, let alone green/blue dial, and it's about as likely as spotting a unicorn. Same with Daytona steel, she said those lists were closed by Rolex themselves and they have customers with 500k spend who can't get one. In other words, unless you're a celeb, you're never getting a Sky-dwelle or steel Daytona.
I can get why skydweller would be like a unicorn but why Daytona?

I have one question why do Rolex cost so much it doesn't make sense to me? I have lots of watches that look just as good and some look better but I didn't pay over 5 hundred dollars per watch and some are over 30 years old and look and run great.
I’ve seen the mint green SkyDweller on steel jubilee and it’s a fine looking watch. Like a fancy bigger mint green fluted jubilee DJ41. Very pretty green dial. Can’t go wrong.

I hate that the sky-dweller is my favorite watch from Rolex and the most complicated and it just doesn’t sell. I bought one on chrono for US$49,500 unworn rose gold rhodium and I get compliments all the time. I love it so screw it

Seen the new green sky for sale only hype is because it’s new if u buy high expect to lose over time because for me it’s no keeper but then I like no bigger then 40 mm but there’s lots of lollipop suckers out there! 🍭
Fair comment, of course there will be a large premium to pay on the market if you want to buy one of the first ones out of the gate. You’d think it will be one of the more popular colours like the blue dial over time
