    3:50 align to the left edge.
    7:00 reshape the textbox: right click the "format shape", manual pop up and put all margins into zero.
    8:05 set this as a default textbox.

    Thank you Heinrich again for sharing these advanced tricks. I also would like to learn from you two things maybe in form of a course or video
    1. Guidance and framework for developing a business case within organization esp. Working on internal initiatives where you need management buyin to help with resources and findings such type of presentations need more of thinking then actual secondary research
    2. How to improve our thinking to make it more towards "so what" like how to tackle business problem and asking right question to better understand the problem

      Hi Arihant, thanks again for the feedback. Yes, especially like your point around "so what" thinking. This was indeed one of the big takeaways from consulting for me and one of the things I see many people struggle with. Will add this to my list of ideas for future videos :) Best! Heinrich

    One question I'm asking myself since day 1: Is this channel called Firm Learning because a) it's about learning stuff relevant to firms or b) because you advocate learning in a firm ("steady") way or c) something else?!

    • @FirmLearning
      @FirmLearning  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi! When I came up with the name, I indeed liked the double meaning of a) and b) - though also did not think too much about it when I decided on that name :) Best! Heinrich

    Heinrich, I took your online course, but I am struggling to find you how you create those underlined textboxes. When ungrouped, it doesn't look like a text box + a line. Please help. Thank you.

    • @FirmLearning
      @FirmLearning  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Kin, yes indeed - it is exactly that, a text box and a line! :) Best, Heinrich

      @@FirmLearning Thanks, Heinrich. Is there a video that shows how you make that magic happen?

    Great video. Have you found a shortcut how to set the proofing language for all boxes, tables etc. throughout a full slide deck? I'm going nuts with that, especially once I changed everything and create a new text box, it will still be configured for proofing in my primary language. Any advise?

    • @FirmLearning
      @FirmLearning  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Jürgen, do you mean something like this?
      pptproductivity.com/blog/set-proofing-language#:~:text=Select%20all%20slides%20by%20pressing,use%20as%20the%20proofing%20language
      Hope this helps.

      @@FirmLearning tried this before and just confirmed (due to needing it): The "set proofing language" is greyed out when selecting all slides. It even breaks within one slide when selecting everything on it if the text is in a table 😕
      Thanks for trying to help though

    One problem still exists: Your newly inserted text boxes came with german as language, which means the spell check doesn´t work, because the whole slide was english. How to solve this automatically?

    • @FirmLearning
      @FirmLearning  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Kalle, you can set the language for the whole document. Have you tried setting it to your preferred language? This should usually do the trick. Best! Heinrich

    • @kallewirsch7915
      @kallewirsch7915 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FirmLearning Thanks, but I haven´t found an option to change the language for the whole document. I found only the option to change it for PowerPoint in general, which isn´t an option, because I need the default language German as my native language for presentations in German. Switching every time isn´t an option in daily life. This is exactly what you can see in your video. Your PowerPoint language seems to be German as well.

    Why is Microsoft so, so fucking awful?
    Like how is it that we, the users, have to reset text boxes to allow for BULLETS AND INDENTS.
    Powerpoints were invented in fucking 1987.

    EVERY TIME I MAKE A TEXT BOX, IT MAKES A ONE PIXEL WIDE BOX AND STACKS EACH LETTER ON TOP OF EACH OTHER. WTF IS WRONG WITH POWERPOINT. I EVEN TRIED SETTING A DEFAULT TEXT BOX.
