    Props to think-cell, pretty cool that students get free licenses! Important tool to learn before starting your consulting career.

      Pretty cool + very freaking smart. Guess what those students will ask their manager when they land their first job after school? Can we get a license for Think-cell? :)

    Great video again for many people out there. Personally I been using storytelling with data for 6 years. First 5 years as an external consultant and now since 1 year as an internal strategy consultant for a major retailer. One thing which works very well is a slide with the facts, the "so what" and "what's next". So pretty much the facts, conclusions and recommendations. Translation from data into insights into strategy.

      Thanks for your comment! Yes, the i) Facts, ii) So What and iii) Whats Next framework is a nice one, can see how this makes a lot of sense in many situations. Thanks for sharing! Best, Heinrich

    Story telling is key to everything. People relate and remember your message better when they can relate through a story.

      Hi Matt, thanks for watching! That's it, fully agree. Thanks for your comment! Best, Heinrich

    Hi Heinrich, absolutely love it. Thank you so much for showing us with the before and after. I mostly struggle to get data cleaned so that it is useable. The story often comes with sidenotes. These insights are so underrated to be able to move forward, so again I really appreciate you want to share your knowledge on this topic. Excellent!

      Hi Shanti, thanks for your comment! Happy to hear you found value in the video. Agree that it is often not straight forward to clean data and present it in the perfect way. Will create more content on this going forward. Best, Heinrich

    Think-cell looks amazing. Are the personal licenses coming back?

    • @FirmLearning
      @FirmLearning  ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely a very helpful tool. If you are not a student, you can go for the "professional license" via below link (it is a single license), hope this helps:

      @@FirmLearning Thanks for clarifying it.
      I was wondering whether think-cell would work on open-source software like Libre Office, but their website says it runs only on Microsoft Office. Do you know if it's compatible?

    Thanks for the great video. Sorry if I missed it but how did you add the chart to ThinkCell?

    • @FirmLearning
      @FirmLearning  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Selena, received the chart already with the data loaded into think-cell :) if you have think-cell installed, it directly recognizes other think-cell charts. Thanks for watching! Best, Heinrich

    Good till about the 8 minute mark when the video switched from data story telling to a sales pitch for think cell.

    @FirmLearning its a bit sad they don't give fixed licenses vs. perpetual licenses. A lot of the world still runs on fixed licenses on the retail side. Think Cell seems to have value but only to corporations.

      Hi Juan, understand where you are coming from, though to be honest subscriptions seem to be the standard for most companies today (also for other consumer software products). Thanks for watching and your comment! Best, Heinrich

    Ernsthaft, so schwer ist das „th“ nun auch wieder nicht. Das klingt wie reinstes Hochdeutsch. Andere Sprachen KLINGEN anders. Das hier ist echt schwer auszuhalten. Wird dir kein native speaker sagen, sie sagen es nur denen, die tatsächlich wie native speaker klingen.
    Aber das kann echt niemand lange aushalten. Schlimmer als sächsisch. Oder indisches „Indlish“. Du klingst wie wenn Otto Leute nachmacht, die eigentlich kein Englisch sprechen. Wie kann jemand English lernen und zu 100% Deutsch klingen auf dem Level?? Sorry, super Inhalt, aber ich krieg schon die Krise, was glaubst du, wie das für native speaker klingt…
