gday waki, another great vid,thanks mate, these arent available in australia,so ive orderd some via tackle warehouse. cant wait to try them, probably in salt water 1st,then fresh water for our native yellowbelly, the sweetest tasting freshwater fish youll ever eat.....flesh is white and firm and delicious, usually use hard body lures,but i reckon these things will do the trick

My hope is one day to return to Japan and fish some fresh water bodies of water. I've been a huge Gary Yamamoto fan since I was a kid and my father showed me them for the first time. Really enjoying the new products and colors. Awesome to see some new baits.

He’s right. 1/0 is the “right” size (if this ever exist since there is no really wrong or right here). I’ve rigged it with 1/0, 1 and 2. 1/0 fits the best for me.

Great video, Angler Waki! May I ask what size hook you use for the 2.5" Yamatanuki?
#1/0 or #1. The lure is bulky. Maybe better to use a big wide-gap hook. Good luck.
