- I let my viewers send me their lists for the current format and i gave them some tips on how to improve them! I hope this gives you some insight on how I approach building different decks & what I think of some of the decks in the current format! @Radical Sprites I've been playing with the trap focus build and the spright engine build ALOT against a top tier branded deck. Do all 3 hyperion, earth, Neptune, both venues, and Neptune then spright core, the one spell that boosts, then some suport like non fusion arena or imperm stuff like that. What I can't quite get a read on is deck size. I feel like it has to be more than 40.

10:48 your point about gamma is very good. So cutting 3 nib and 1 doombroker for 3 gamma and driver. It also has synergy going 1st with e tele.

Maybe the live twin deck can use magician souls and illusion of chaos to send the continous spells to the graveyard and get a body on board.

I think also you play eclipse if you're on something that ends almost purely on links. Like, marincess probably plays eclipse over bom, although they likely play both

why is slumber not good going first? it's an easy way to use fountain in first round to draw. that's a lot of consistency that is added from my experience. i'm very new though
I really don't enjoy the Labrynth decklist. I really am a fan of the furnitures, they give you the option of consistency, advantage over time and comeback potential. I play 2 of each furniture and 2 cooklock. Also Backjack is a monster in this deck. Also a 2 of. Since i Already have a consistent deck and dont need to dig in, i play extravagance. I rather have another card to discard, than a card i would search with my furnitures instead. Since i play alot of fiends, and i draw them alot. I like to play archfiends ghastly glitch. It turns backjack into another interuption with a bit of luck, and if not you can turn it into a Welcome labrynth with the fieldspell, since you can summon the monster you send directly. As for floodgates, i like karma cannon and dbarrier. But i only play one, since i can activate it the turn I set with cooclock. Since hypernova i experimented alot with this deck, and i came to the conclusion, that my 48 card deck works the best for me. Also joshua, you can discard Lovely
I decided to reply just because of the 2/2/2 furniture ratio. God, i love it. My idea initially was 2/1 + 3 Clock in order to maximize potential going second pop with Lovely, but I'm settled on 2/2/2.
I dropped back Jack to 1 in favor of a single Chaos Hunter. Not only it is the "4th" Lancea in the main, but it's also accessible by Glitch + Field, and with added furniture, you can easily end on the single field spell almost every single game.
Lancea is in the main due to every deck running Extrav/Prosp + Kashtira bad matchup + Runick. Gamma is incredibly punishing but very rare in the main (and mostly in decks we have an advantage)
I really hate Punishment/Apollousa spell because it DOESN'T out Ariseheart, especially Punishment at 3 since it is HOPT. With the 1 Traptrick i would be ok with 2 even if at all. I prefer Torrential and I would sacrifice a Lady with that for mass removal. Not working due to Ariseheart attaching the link 1 or Shangri is irrelevant because Punishment or Ultimate Slayer doesn't work anyway.
Now for some bad takes.
- 1 D-Barrier is enough. Searchable, reusable, doesn't produce advantage. If you brick on D-barriers they won't give you consecutive turns because the 2nd one will get popped.
- Sky Prison is USELESS. The 2-attack play is cheese, grabbing a card for the next turn only works with Clock for Imperial Iron Wall since the main issue is EVENLY and not Storm. Instead of 2 spots in the main for a potential draw into lord I would play a virus and wipe their hand off that evenly on demand.
Now for garbage takes.
I like the bad lvl4 at 1. I will rarely use the trap effect but constantly going draw 2 is incredible, even resummoning Arianna for a search. This + getting rid of all those unnecessary ED monsters allowed me to fill it with Knightmares for spot removal + extra draws, along with Dugares and -plan b- Bagooska. They side out Nibiru and grab storms/evenlys. With Arianna + Furniture you can setup Eradicator, then any piece (one of either Welcome, 2nd Furniture, Lady) you can easily go for Dugares and dig even more while using Big Welcome will recover furnitures for free discards.
Also Skill Drain is super bad for the deck. Lovely destroys all decks except runick by preventing responses, Lady gets advantage. I played Skill Drain in Unchained, here you can't go beatdown brrrrrrr.

Swordsoul is decent against ariseheart pass because of vish. You gotta max that card out right now. Ash/imperm/book of moon with another non engine of choice has been pretty good in my experience this format. The deck honestly feels worse vs everything else

Hey josh, how do you feel about ghost belle this format? I only have 3 more slots in side deck and was debating between droll or belle
you didnt ask for my oppinion but I will still try it. I think it depends on what you want to prepare for. Belle is good in the mathmach match up and ok not good but ok against laby. Droll hits rouqe decks wuite good, cuz they all have ways to search to start their combo. Droll can be nice against kash but depends heavily on the kash hand. Belle works also against the gimmick lock. So if you know what you want to prepare for. There are pros and cons for both cards. Have a good day

I'm gonna jump in real quick and say this: Belle does a lot to rogue decks as well. I play galaxy-eyes, and Belle hits a lot of the new combo lines that the new support introduced, and some of the old cards just get clapped by it as well(see galaxy trance.)
@@Elbsolut Gimmick lock most of the time also has Lost active so Belle is completely useless. So it really depends on YOUR deck.
- If you want to side more against Kash, i would suggest Lancea that also hits Pots + Runicks. Apart from Prosp it isn't good against Spright.
- If you hate Mathmech/Bystials Belle is the answer, while exclusively hitting Kash Birth or Big Welcome (note that Lovely makes it useless). It will work even against Traptrix, it has a wide range just like Ash, the only issue is that just like Ash it's a 1-1 trade and not a blowout like the others.
- If you play Droll, it usually hits rogue decks while Runick decks can play over it and you just deny them the initial draw. It varies but works incredible against current runick builds like Naturia/Mellfy but with it becoming popular they can play around it somewhat consistently especially Spright.
