As a veteran, this songs make we tear up every time. It is one of our anthems……..there hasn’t been an artist in a long time like Toby Keith who has been more of an entertainer for my brothers and sisters in uniform at home and abroad. RIP.
The song he wrote after 9/11 called 'Courtesy of the red, white & blue' is an amazing song that every American should hear. Then you should check out his funny side. 'As good as I once was' or 'How do you like me now?' are both super funny & he has a ton of them. He also has a great duet/video with Willie Nelson, called 'Beer for my horses', that is like an episode of a cop show on TV. Love it. If you want to cry, his song for his friend Wayman Tisdale, who ironically also passed from Cancer, could make that happen. "Cryin' for me, Wayman's song' is absolutely beautiful & has a country/jazz vibe... hard to explain.
Toby Keith had some great songs so whether you need to hear something heartfelt, patriotic, romantic, sad, melancholy, inspiring, thoughtful, or just plain funny, yeah especially funny, then Toby’s got what you need. My favorite songs by Toby Keith are Who’s That Man; Wish I Didn’t Know Now; You Shouldn’t Kiss Me Like That; He Ain’t Worth Missing; We Were In Love; Upstairs Downtown; How Do You Like Me Now; I Wanna Talk About Me; American Soldier; Trailerhood; A Little Too Late; A Little Less Talk and a Lot More Action; and of course Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue. Rest in Peace Toby, we miss you!!
I got to see him for free on post when my ex and I lived on Aberdeen Proving Grounds. He did quite a few free shows for soldiers and their families. He seemed like Willie Nelson was in the back that night. Lol. Of course this song and Angry American were his encores.
New subscriber to your channel. Love your reaction videos! ♥ I always take the time to look at more than one reaction on a channel before " liking and subcsribing" to make sure it's a channel I enjoy. I like the fact that you do a variety of genres. This video is one of my favorite Toby Keith's songs.. I am the wife of a Vietnam veteran and these particular veterans have never been treated fairly.. My father also served in the Navy and was a proud disabled veteran. Toby Keith was an American patriot in every sense of the word! He is definitely missed. Thank you Toby Keith for your music which will live on forever! We miss you! Fly High! 💯🥺💪🪖🎖🦅🇺🇲
