    First, Thank you for your service ❤
    Toby Keith's passing was especially difficult for me and my family. One of the last pictures I have of my brother Sam before he was killed in action in Afghanistan was standing with Toby Keith at a concert event with the troops. Rest in Peace Toby and my brother Sam will be happy to see you again on the other side ✝️❤️

    First of all, Thank you for your service. This song still brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. My grandfather served in the Navy and my brother in-law served in the 82nd airborne for 40 years before retiring. Freedom isn't free and someone pays the price for our freedom and those people, like yourself, are true heroes. The disrespect shown towards our military now days sickens me to my core and makes me so angry. So, thank you again and God bless you.

    My grandfather signed up for WW2 when he was 16 years old. He lied about his age of course but he served on the Pacific side of the war. I am so proud as his granddaughter let me tell you. I was lucky that he came back alive. Only thing that saved him was that he got injured from an explosive that went off in there camp somewhere. so they sent him back.
    There will never come a day or I don't think about you for what they do. I will not take for granted the freedom that they have provided us.
    Thank you to all the service men and women out there. God bless those who could not make it home and may your soul rest in peace.
    Also I have to thank the families that endured as their loved one went off to war.

    I absolutely care that our men and women in our military are willing to sacrifice it all for us. There's no words to express that enough. Thank you for your service. Thank your lucky stars that you served in this generation. My brother served in Viet Nam. (He was a Huey Mechanic). When HE stepped off the plane when he came home there were people waiting for the soldiers to disembark...they shouted horrible things at them, threw rotten fruit at them. They got treated like shit. There are assholes today that treat our soldiers like crap, but nothing like they treated my brother.

    • @atlanticantiquesltd7372
      @atlanticantiquesltd7372 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Our soldiers were called and honorably answered the call. Regardless of how some people felt about the war, they had no right to treat our soldiers that way. It was disgusting behavior, I am 76 years old and remember Vietnam. My late husband and I respected our soldiers and had friends that lost their lives there. Respect to all veterans and especially Vietnam Veterans. Thank you for your family’s service. God bless you all.

    I am 76 years old and I watched how many people treated the Vietnam vets and hated it, so did my late husband whose father was military during WWII and my husband was Air Force. He didn’t serve too long because of double vision and other vision problems. We always supported the military.. I am glad there has been a change of heart and people are kinder to the military who completely deserve all our respect. God bless you and again thank you for your service all.

    In such a chaotic time in our country, I'm so glad to know one thing has always stayed true, loyal, and steady, that's the heart of the American Soldiers, no matter the branch or service, these are the blood in the veins of America, true heroes , you will always have my love and admiration, you should always come home to nothing less than that, the ones who are shipped home should always be honored for the ultimate sacrifice, sadly Ive seen less than that for our vets! No vet should be struggling or homeless, they should be our honored!!! So as one grateful American let me say you are loved and appreciated and never forgotten! ❤️🤍💙 God bless our Troops no matter the war or service. Thank you so much for defending our great country!❤️🤍💙 GOD BLESS THE U.S.A AND A BIG HAPPY VETERANS DAY!!❤️🤍💙

    God Bless You! Everyone had a role. I had a cousin who served in Viet Nam. He came home wounded and mentally affected. I will never forget when my mother came out, I was just home from basketball practice, and said “John Michael was wounded, he is coming home”. He worked for the USPS and died the same year as my father. Dad was 86, John Michael was 57. I see it like yesterday.

    In Toby's video where the Dad enters the plane and looks back at his family - his son saluted him. That reminded me of watching John John (John Kennedy Jr for the youngins') saluting his father's casket. That made me cry.

    I was in rotc in high school but so much of my family wore the uniforms…2 marines, 2 navy, 1 reserves, 1 Air Force. Them driving by that graveyard gets me. Personally I can get through most of the services but TAPS. Grandpa I was ok…I cried but I saw the soldier in the open field, I knew what was coming. As much as I tried it didn’t take long for him to break me.

    Thank you for your service. I enlisted in 1968, and did a tour in Vietnam 69-70. We came home to protests. In this video it was the look on his wife's face that got to me the most. Keep doing a great job. If push came to shove I would be honored to stand beside you. Thank you again.

    My Grandpa left the army in May '45 as a MSgt. I saw him on 9/11/01 and he was asking for his rifle so we could go to war.

      God bless you and your Grandpa. I'm quite sure that even 56 years later your Grandpa could have gone over there and absolutely annihilated anything and everything in his way. Those WWII Vets were and still are some incredibly Strong Men.

    I have seen this video thousands of time but this is the first time I noticed tat the soldier on the bus is missing his right arm. The left handed salute means so much more now.
