The STATE pursued charges based off the hospital visit, the hospitals in Utah are obligated to notify police any time there is ANY "domestic dispute" that involves a hospital. Mike almost got railroaded by the State.
They have been after him for so long because they thought he was starting his own militia when all he wanted to do was educate people on protecting themselves and being self reliant. So weird and unjust.
I had the same thing happen to me in 2012 my wife and I and my kids where cooking on the front porch my wife and I where having a few drinks. She sit on the railing and it broke and she fell about 8 ft and messed up her back. So at the hospital they called the cops and they arrested me for family assault with serious bodily injury that is a felony and carries a 20 year prison sentence. I stayed in jail for 6 months until the charges were dropped finally. All over the cops wanting to make money cause they get paid from the state for ppl in there jails. I lost my job friends cause at first they believed what was being said even tho my wife saying no it all bullshit didn’t happen. So I don’t need ppl like that around me or my family. I moved from that county and one month after I moved the sheriff was arrested for corruption but they wouldn’t say it was connected to my case because I could’ve sued. I’m still trying to prove that so I can sued.

My areas police response time isn't calculated. It's literally call and anywhere from 1 hour- the following day. I literally was threatened by a state police officer that arrived with profanity upon arrival and said I will be arrested if I call police for assistance or aid again. I have since been Deterred from contacting law enforcement for help & or safety/ protection. I'll protect myself now. I called because I was physically assaulted and didn't defend myself because I thought it would be better if I didn't so I contacted law enforcement and I was charged and threatened with arrest, not to mention the officer had an accent so strong You could definitely guarantee he spent enough time In A foreign country at an early age that his vocal accent and speech are effected.

I had a lot of guys ask me whats the most important thing to train for combat. I am not expert on combat, I am a combat veteran. I have done some gun fighting but I am no operator. Anyway, I tell people you need to have excellent physical conditioning. I do not just mean lift weights and take steroids. In fact those guys are some of the worst. Endurance, stamina, the ability to cover ground on foot while carrying your gear. Most men are not even in good enough shape to get to the fight much less get in one.

I have ptsd is what my counselor is tell me different things would just set me off in a very depressed way for days week mouth years went and got some help and it's ptsd no lie cied my self to sleep for years not knowing what is going on I never knew what a trigger was or anything like that different trauma causes someone weird stuff in our hearts and minds really hard to rewire after thinking one was for so long
So...the first conversation about PTSD...the things Mike says are all hallmarks of having c-PTSD. I totally get why soldiers have to hide and deny it, because that firearms law is terrifying. Hell, I'm a civilian with c-PTSD, and am a fully capable and responsible gun owner. There is zero correlation to make someone unfit to carry by way of PTSD alone. (Unless there are other behavioral/psychological and conduct factors also.) But watching this old podcast, especially after everything that just happened with his DV case, prooves that he's wrestling with his own demons and needs therapy.

So...the first conversation about PTSD...the things Mike says are all hallmarks of having c-PTSD. I totally get why soldiers have to hide and deny it, because that firearms law is terrifying. Hell, I'm a civilian with c-PTSD, and am a fully capable and responsible gun owner. There is zero correlation to make someone unfit to carry by way of PTSD alone. (Unless there are other behavioral/psychological and conduct factors also.) But watching this old podcast, especially after everything that just happened with his DV case, prooves that he's wrestling with his own demons and needs therapy.

Mike, veterans don't need the governments permission to have firearms. You were a green beret, I was a rifleman in the infantry. We carried weapons in a professional manner, and no one will then use that against me to then take my rights away.

Charges were dropped on lack of evidence and police not doing complete investigations for the report.. but I guess innocent until PROVEN guilty doesn't mean much when you dont like the person
@DavidLLambertmobile Yes he has been suffering PTSD for almost a year. These things tend to happen when you are in your forties playing house with someone almost 20+years junior. Not my business. Him being paranoid and a gun advocate someone should help him out. His local priest.
