Honestly, I feel like their difficulty is GREATLY exaggerated. I went into ds1 as a veteran souls player, and completely wiped the floor with them on my first try.
@@Shifsabre Keep in mind that back in the day when DS1 was most peoples first dark souls game, this was really the first *hard* boss in the games. If you've played other souls games before other than maybe Demon's (which didn't have too many things like it) then they are pretty easy. Even Orenstein is slow compared to bosses in other games. They are kinda predictable and don't do a ton of damage. However, this was most people's first *hard* boss, it really destroys you if you aren't used to bosses like that

If you aren't against emulation, king's field 4 is a great (debatable) game. People say demon souls was where it started, but king's field will give such an appreciation for how far the studio has come.
