I’m scared how similar me and Dan are in the shows of our childhood and how much I feel like a boomer now
My dad used to work for a hydroblasting company. Getting cut by the water was extremely dangerous, and they had to carry around cards with special instructions on how to properly treat then because most doctors didn't know how. The water being inside you can really mess you up.
I am from Norway and in third grade we all watced a animated song about a man falling down some stairs and horificly dying.

I love that the lore of this game is just there's an active volcano nearby and everyone is probably gonna die in a few months. Especially when you take into account that all of that ash you've been cleaning up is gonna get into the water supply.

I honestly find this more satisfying to watch than people playing the game "properly" and doing everything really slowly. RT is actually power washing stuff at a decent pace like I would if I were playing the game, it's refreshing to see.

@@magi9194 Yea, if you're lucky enough to get it in your hand early enough. Also with how the current meta focuses more on basically cycling through cards in the extra deck, it isn't too hard to counter, especially because the person using it places themselves at the disadvantage of having to keep fewer cards in play then their opponent if they don't want the card to back fire, which limits the moves they themselves can make if their deck isn't built a certain way to mesh with Mystic Mine. Not all decks can use it. If you run a deck that works with swarming, you can't run the card yourself or if you're against a deck that focuses on just getting out an untouchable rather then filling the field with fodder, then Mystic Mine isn't going to help you and could even be a potential dead draw. That's the downside of a situational spell like that, it's useful when you're against the right deck and running the right deck, but otherwise it's as much a hazard to you as it is to your opponent.
Having said that, I don't play competitively or follow meta much anymore so maybe I'm wrong, maybe it is the game breaker you claim but if it was, it'd be banned in an instant. The fact that it isn't shows that it's not as OP as you make it sound. Or Konami is showing favouritism in the banlist again, which wouldn't surprise me, half the cards they've banned make no sense in their banning to me because they have a mechanic that can be cheesed in only the most specific circumstances and yet it's them that gets banned not the card that makes that cheesing possible.
