Interested to learn which mounts will suit for caving. Potentially the Telesin neck mount or the backpack velcro mount will attach to the upper caving harness. Helmet mount may work, however a head torch may impede. Thanks for the vids, very helpful, also was this filmed in Queensland?

I have used the Snap Mount chest mount with the lanyard through a T-shirt and I found that the camera bounced around too much when I was walking due to the flexing of the shirt. Maybe it would work if your shirt was very tight.

Wow! A friend of mine referred me to this and I am glad she did....this was really good. I didn't know about the mouth mount and the neck mount. The neck mount really looks like something to get as for a cyclist who does a lot of night riding, the helmet mounted headlamp takes priority and it can sometimes get in the way of a helmet mounted camera....Good intel. Very helpful. I'm going snowmobiling next month in Yellowstone. I want to be able to do GoPro. Still trying to figure out what will work best since I'm renting the snowmobile and helmet. Not sure if there is anything that will go on the helmet "temporary" - the necklace may be too low and record the top of the windshield. Any ideas?
Result wise I prefer bite but my mouth is tired after several minutes doing that. The second best is that neck mount but it is not stiff enough for my almost chin pov purpose
unfortunately, tho the helmet mount for dirt bike riding is banned from racing so best next thing is the chest mount, and if u flip the gopro upside down and up closer to your helmet the footage isn't to bad

This mouth mount keeps your mouth open and it makes you slivate a lot, with the saliva dips onto the lens...Furthermore, It is soft plastic which makes the gopro12 bouncing on every step while walking. I wanted to buy cheap and regret my purchase. I finally bought the gopro bite mount and no pb at all, even after 10min of use...

With the snap mount do you think that it would still work while underwater?
I'd like the Neck mount as well. I was thinking about putting a 3inch extension to get it to chin level for the motorcycle, I ride with a half helmet.

Don't disassemble the chesty. Put it on like a shirt. Takes a second and is way easier than trying to connect all the clasps while it's on.
