Best way to preserve them is limit their use. The permits aren’t that hard to get. Getting a shuttle starts at 7, and can take you to that glacier gorge trailhead in like 10 minutes. I loved not having the park absolutely packed. Best thing of Covid as I hope they keep the reservation systems. My one visit to RMNP was in 1992! We did some of this hike to Bear Lake and Alberta Falls. A few days later we attempted Longs Peak. I made it 7 miles up to the Keyhole, one in our group summited.
So mystic with the fog. Beautiful. What a gift to experience that place. Might have to add this to the list. What hiking shoes seem to be your favorite & why?
The fog made it extra moody! And have our hiking shoes listed here: adventuresofaplusk.com/resources/. Adam prefers trail runners because they are light, but I like the boots for their look, waterproofness, and sturdiness!
My Family has been going to EP & RMNP since the 60’s. This is our favorite area of the park to hike. Along with Sky Pond there’s The Loch, Mills, Jewel, and Black Lakes. Also Dream and Emerald Lakes, which have always been our first hike upon arrival. Not too long, great for acclimation and the views from near the base of the 800 ft face of Hallet’s Peak are spectacular. Long’s Peak is bucket list worthy, but on your next trip to RMNP checkout Lake Of the Clouds. I don’t think it gets the attention it deserves because it’s on the west side of the park in the Never Summer Range. It’s one of my favorites. Some of the hike is along Grand Ditch, which gives you a chance to catch breath and enjoy the views. When you do make a return trip to CO checkout Rollins Pass. It’s the rail bed of the original train route over the divide that connected Denver with the west. Moffet tunnel, which comes out at Winter Park, does that now. I have only been up it from the east side, but it is full of history, beauty, and panoramic views. With caution it is a beautiful drive up to about tree line, where it’s blocked off. From there it’s not a bad hike to the top. It’s not a drive that’s suitable for your van, so maybe you rent a Jeep or suitable SUV.
Thank you for all of the tips! We love this area of RMNP too! Longs Peak may be a bit too much for us, Elbert kicked our butts haha, but we hear it’s an epic 14er!
@@AdventuresofAplusK The 14er’s are all buttkickers unless you’re driving up. Enjoying your vlog. Been to a lot of the places your visiting, so I’m revisiting them vicariously through you. Be safe and give Kona a scratch.

So amazing! Definitely need to go here. The Olympics are on but me and my girlfriend just found your channel and are obsessed and we can’t stop watching! Thanks for making our list of to-do’s reallllly long lol.
Great video!! Have enjoyed CO series very much!! Poor Kona didn’t get a bite or get to play in the snow this time!! Looking forward to your Wyoming adventures to start! Enjoy your time with your family!!
Well done on your hike and video! We just missed you by 1.5 weeks in June, as we drove Trail Ridge Road and hiked to Mills Lake and the other four lakes you mentioned. We will be back - Sky Pond is up next for us! Enjoy the rest of your time in Colorado!
Thank you for showing me a part of ROMO that I have never seen. So glad you enjoyed your stay here in Colorado. Can't wait to see what you have coming up. Stay dry (monsoon season), be fire aware (wildfires and smoke), be extra careful about flash floods (Poudre River Canyon had a very bad one a day or 2 ago). Travel Safe! Rich

Oh my!! So beautiful!! I have to admit, watching you guys go up that waterfall all I could think of was, how are they going to get down?! lol What absolutely gorgeous scenery and great trails. Thanks again for taking me somewhere I will never get to go on my own. Loved it!!
It feels good to be watching your videos again and getting inspiration for my futures travels. I was working my way through your catalog and slowly catching up to your current adventures. I enjoyed commenting and sharing my experiences. However, Thanksgiving of last year I contracted an extremely severe and rare eye infection and it just turned my world upside down. It basically stole all of 2022 from me. I had to give up TH-cam and anything travel related. It was just too depressing. If you are contact lense wearers, I will give you my warning spiel. I am not out of the woods yet but am finally in a good spot. Enough of me rambling. Excellent video, as always. The landscape shots you capture and film were stellar. Just beautiful. I love RMNP but haven’t been there in so, so long. Sky Pond is very high on my list. Seems like such an epic hike. The scramble up Timberline Falls looks fun and not too sketchy. I envisioned something way worse in my mind.
Oh no! We’re sorry to hear about that and hope you recover fully soon! I (Adam) is a contact lense wearer. What’s your warning? We love RMNP! It’s one of our favs! The scramble wasn’t too bad and was a ton of fun!
@@AdventuresofAplusK dang I had a whole reply written out and lost it. Let me reiterate that this is pretty rare. I contracted acanthamoeba keratitis (I.e., an amoeba parasite). It is a microscopic organism that is found everywhere: water, tap water, soil, dust, HVAC. The majority of cases are contact lense wearers, like 85% of all cases. The most common exposure route is wearing contacts while swimming, showering, hot tubs/saunas, etc. Also rinsing contacts with tap water and poor hygiene while handling your contacts are other common pathways. The water can get trapped behind your contact and if the amoeba is present it can attack any weak spots on your cornea. I believe I caught mine from showering at home. Very flukey because I definitely swam with my contacts a ton of times. I have never even heard of this thing and was never made aware of such severe risks with contacts. Just knew swimming and contacts was not a recommended practice. www.cdc.gov/parasites/acanthamoeba/gen_info/acanthamoeba_keratitis.html
I hate it when you lose what you have typed up! Thanks for sharing that! That is very scary. I definitely need to be better about changing my contacts when I’m supposed to and changing the solution every night. Like you mentioned, it does sound like a pretty rare condition so I’m not going to worry too much about it, but I will strive for better hygiene and maybe take my contacts out when showering! Thanks for sharing that!
Amazing hike…it’s one I would love to do! The lakes are so gorgeous!!! Also the mountains with the fog/clouds moving through is phenomenal! Freaking awesome vlog as always! And now the next one just went live!
Probably my all-time favorite hike. Just got back from an epic Seattle/GNP vacation. Did the Sunrise Rim/Mount Fremont Loop, ate at the Pink Door. Thanks for your blogs - really helped our trip planning. Continued safe travels…
Another gutsy move by A+K. Engrave your initials into the Alberta Falls sign then record it for all of TH-cam!!! You go guys! My wife and I did the emerald lake hike years ago... Probably before you were born and before those mountains had grown so high... It wasn't as rough as your hike... 😁
My favorite hike. I unknowingly lost my key fob back at lake glass in spring of 2019 and on my way back from Sky Pond a guy asked me if I lost a key, he offered to take pic because I was taking selfies and he vanished. I waited for him before you ascend up the ice pack near the vertical rock climb below lake glass for at least 30 mins. And down the trail some again for 45 min to thank him again, because I was really grateful for him, but never came down either vanished or stood up there. I went back to the park this Mid July but did not redo Sky Pond but will next year. The fire did a number glad I went prior. I realized spring or early June when I went the first time was better because more water in all falls and river and the walking trails had small streams all the way up from Alberta Falls made it more enjoyable.
Best time to go to RMNP is late August through September. Hike the Chasm Lake trail that takes you to the base of the east diamond face of Longs Peak. You take the Longs Peak trailhead off highway 7.
Man - the views! The lake of glass. Adorable Kona! That whole 3am thing looked pretty rough, but gotta do what ya gotta do for the adventure! And the looks of that pizza is killing' me right now (says Stephen, the pizza fanatic)! Great vid, you three - thanks for sharing!
Kathryn when you were climbing the waterfall, my first thought was how the heck are they going to get down! Great beautiful video guys! The lakes reflection was mesmerizing! ~Cara 😊
Another great video. Heard you guys on Ryans blog and that you will be headed to Minnesota and Michigan, can't wait for those since Michigan is my home state Most travelers go to the dunes on Lake Michigan and up to the UP to see Pictured Rocks along Lake Superior and the many water falls up there. I grew up on the sunrise side, Tawas Bay and Lake Heron. There is the Heron National Forest with some hiking trails, Lumberman's Monument is pretty cool, there is a nice lighthouse out on Tawas Point, I've been up to the top of that one. One of the biggest draws for the downstaters and tourists is a local Ben Franklin store, opened by my grandfather and now owned by my cousin Mike and his wife Laura. The store has been in the family for three generations and if you get to see what is in the store, you'll see why it's so popular. Wyoming is another great place to visit. Have fun guys.
We are super pumped to make it up that way! We have a tighter timeframe in those states so we can make it to New England for the fall, but really excited to see what we can. Thank you for all of the tips! How cool that your grandfather opened that store!
Aww.. poor Kona deserves a pot sticker (mo mo). Lol. Great hike. I was there about two weeks ago. I wish I could have made it to Sky Pond but my husband has knee issues and we could only make it as far as Dream Lake. Antonio’s is great, we ate there twice during our visit.
Thanks for sharing another fantastic video. We are heading to RMNP in August and Sky Pond is on our list. I have our timed entry passes for several days, for the 5:00-7:00am time slot. I was considering trying to get to the trailhead before 5:00 to avoid crowds, but after watching your video I’m wondering if that is possible. Do you have a recommendation on a start time? And was it terribly crowded for you? I think Sky Pond will be heavily trafficked no matter what. We are staying in Estes Park so that will help. Thanks. Enjoy your family time!!
If you can get up earlier, we highly suggest getting to the trail before 5 AM! We started the hike around 4:45 or 5 AM I think and while we encountered a lot of people at first (it seemed like a bunch of us started at once), the crowds died down and there were only a few of us at the lake by the time we got there. We were pleasantly surprised by the lack of huge crowds at the lake. On the way back, we passed a LOT more people, especially as we got back onto the shared trail that goes to other hikes. We hope that helps!
That does help, thank you! By the way, I was checking out a few other RMNP hiking videos and I saw you guys on another vlog! It was a little bonus footage of you two! Yeah!
Recently discovered your TH-cam site and Instagram! Love your content. It’s given me so many ideas for upcoming trips! I just did the SkyPond hike on 7/11 and was hands down one of my most favorite hikes ever!
Thank you for the recommendation on this hike! When I first watched your video a few months ago, I knew I had to book a trip to do this hike and I finally went last week and it was awesome! There were 50mph winds when I did the hike so each lake had waves and the wind actually knocked me over one time 😂
Hello Adventurers😊😊, hmmmm...momo's?? They look soooo good and those smothies look super creamy. What a great hike to sky pond! Very SPECTACULAR!! WOW!! This video was AWESOME👍👍👍👍👍! I can't wait to see what's in store in Wyoming.
This is one of my favorite hikes! I’ve done it twice and never been brave enough to get my camera out to film that waterfall scramble. Loved the video and glad I can finally show people what I was talking about! Kathryn’s face before going down the waterfall was exactly how I felt 😂😅
Hahahahah so glad I’m not alone in that feeling! We had heard we had to climb a waterfall, but had no idea what that meant really until experiencing it.
This is exactly the same reason I just found this video! I was hiking to Sky Pond this summer and every time I want to express my feelings to someone about that waterfall climbing I couldnt, because I didnt have any video from that place. Now I do! 😅
It's me again 🤣 the quality of the videography is amazing! Love the glass refllecttion, what a beautiful stillness you have captured. Really, enjoying watching you both. Best travel TH-camr !!👏👌💗💗
Thank you very much to share your videos. This one is really amazing. I plan to visit RMNP in June next year but not sure if choosing mid June dates (From 10th- 20th June) it would be possible to complete this Sky Pound or Chasm Lake hikes. I`m a little bit concerned, these hikes still could be with a lot of snow on those dates. I would appreciate your view on this. Thanks! 😃
I have been living in Estes Park for the past two months now, and I love it out here. It is definitely very touristy, but the town is so pretty. Nepal's is one of my go-to spots as well as many other restaurants. Definitely a big shift from rural MD, but it really is a great place.
Made me happy watching your video I left RMNP not being able to get past the waterfall in late October. There was an ice melt and being by myself I thought it a bad idea even with spikes to continue. It was challenge for me through the snow and weather conditions just to get up to that point. I’m going back in May and hope to try again. Thank you so much for posting. I was hoping to see your dissent down the waterfall. It was completely frozen when I went up there right after the snowstorm. I know it’s difficult to film that kind of stuff when you’re in the middle of it but man oh man with a pack on it kind of freaked me out a little bit with the extra weight. Not going out by myself this next time so I’m hoping to have a little better luck but again thank you so much for the video it was great.
Thank you for watching! We are sorry to hear you couldn’t finish the hike, but you definitely made the right call for safety. Going down the waterfall was pretty steep and super hard to film because there was a line of people waiting to go up (we try to be respectful of others when filming and not hold others up). But it was definitely doable!
Can’t wait to try it without the snow and ice !!!! But it was absolutely breathtaking I have no regrets. I ended up getting to the top of twin sisters, Lily Mountain and hiked storm pass. Absolutely amazing week !!! The pictures I was able to take and post on Instagram are breathtaking (not from my talent off a photographer) and still make me smile. Going by myself was a life changing experience. Again you guys are awesome thank you for posting it really made me smile !!!

Nepal's Cafe is the best! My wife and I live an hour away in Fort Collins and we make it a point to do the lunch buffet whenever we go. Good choice! If you're ever back in Colorado, you should come to Fort Collins for a day or two, you won't be disappointed!
Great video! I am here now and will do this hike before sunrise tomorrow. I see you posted the video on July 23, 2021. Do you recall what day you hiked it? I like the conditions of some snow on the mountains.
Oh, you visited our wedding town. Did you make it to Poppy’s specialty pizza or Mama Rose’s by the river? Our family & friends (an we of course) had a memorable time in EP. The mountains are calling and we must go ⛰❤️
Estes Park is "a little touristy" because it was literally built to be a tourist attraction. If your REALLY bored you can watch a history video at the museum. Great hike, and the victory meal after is the best part!
The hike looked amazing and such gorgeous views. Thank you for sharing. Are the permits in operation to manage usual summer crowds or because of covid? Loved the look of the momos too - yum 😋
I believe COVID is what started it (they had reduced capacity last summer, but I believe it's closer to 100% this summer), but I wouldn't be surprised if they kept it to keep the park crowds more manageable. We're glad you enjoyed the hike!
Thank you so much for the video! My family should be there in a week. I am so glad to hear that we can get to bear lake without a reservation! I just wanted to make sure that if we do get there early, we can get into the park without any reservations. Is that correct?
Correct! If you enter the Bear Lake area (which is just after the entrance gate) before 5 AM, you do not need one. You will not be able to get back into the area if you leave though.
Got to see someone try momos for the first time. Oh. Momos with that spicy red sauce, yeah it's hard to describe how good that combination is. I hope they did justice to the taste. Momos are very popular in northern India. I'm visiting Rocky Mountains soon and will DEFINITELY try momos here. Mayo is also served with momos at some places and I'm not sure if they forgot to include that or they don't serve that. And congrats on finishing the hike. I hope the weather is good when I do the hike in August.
Very hard to describe, but so good! We hope you enjoy them, we can’t speak to how authentic they are, but had heard good things beforehand. And that’s the only sauce they gave us!
Ooooh, pooor doooog ;-) Do you share a list with all these awesome food places and the meals you tried during your adventures? It makes me sooo hungry watching you eating all this delicious stuff. Safe travels
This was the 10 miler my friend really wanted to go on, but after a few short hikes in RMNP, I don't think our bodies were ready. The vlog is incredible - nicely captured with honest feedback. Plus, I get to see what we missed. BTW, love all your videos, it's the perfect primer for hikes. Any recommendations on hiking up the slippery waterfall?
It’s hard to adjust to that altitude! And for the waterfall, going early helps because you can take your time without the pressure of others. And good shoes! It wasn’t too hard, we just had to be careful to not slip.
All of the parks are a lot busier these days as more folks want to get outdoors, but we appreciate the permit system to help keep the crowds slightly more manageable. There are still so many epic places in the US that are not super crowded and don't require permits!
I am finally caught up on all your videos!! I have enjoyed everyone of them. I know it's not your style but did you see someone wrote your name on the Alberta Falls sign? I am so looking forward to future videos!
I've been waiting to to do this hike since last year on my first visit to RMNP, I was being too lazy and slept in the day of my hike so didn't go. I will not be making the same mistake next month!

Those views were amazing - so cool how perfectly the mountains framed the lakes. And the fog kind of seemed to lend to the idea that you guys were out there exploring new lands - we loved it!
The fog was sooo moody and mystical! Just glad it went away for a second to see the full views!
That is an awesome looking hike! The momos looked really good and the pizza looked amazing too!
Both were incredible! 😋😋
So amazing! Definitely need to go here. The Olympics are on but me and my girlfriend just found your channel and are obsessed and we can’t stop watching! Thanks for making our list of to-do’s reallllly long lol.
Hahaha no problem Brent! We know the feeling, it's a good and bad thing when you have SO many places you want to visit!
Great video!! Have enjoyed CO series very much!! Poor Kona didn’t get a bite or get to play in the snow this time!! Looking forward to your Wyoming adventures to start! Enjoy your time with your family!!
She gets a little bit of snow soon! 🙌🏼 Can’t wait to share what we have been up to in Wyoming!
That snow look so fantastic this time of year!
We love seeing snow left on the mountains!
We’ve really enjoyed watching the Colorado trip & really looking forward to seeing Wyoming. Keep up the good work!!
We are so glad you enjoyed Colorado, we LOVED it there!
Such a beautiful hike, with awesome lakes! So glad your van has been repaired!!!👍
SO happy it has been fixed too! A huge weight off of our shoulders!
Sky Pond is definitely been one of my top hikes and I want to do it again.
It is incredible! So glad you enjoy the hike too!
Omg our family went to sky pond on vacation to!! Very beautiful just a long hike I love when we had to climb the water fall
So much fun!!
So glad you enjoyed the hike too!
I too had a bit of trepidation about coming down the falls, but we were racing a incoming thunderstorm. It is a fun hike.
Oh wow, nothing like a storm to get you heading down quickly!
Well done on your hike and video! We just missed you by 1.5 weeks in June, as we drove Trail Ridge Road and hiked to Mills Lake and the other four lakes you mentioned. We will be back - Sky Pond is up next for us! Enjoy the rest of your time in Colorado!
Those lakes are amazing!!! We hope you enjoyed the park!
Rich
Thanks Rich! Staying safe so far! Some smoke in the air, but no fires near us thankfully.
Beautiful! This is one of my favorite hiking videos you’ve made. Stunning.
Wow, thank you so much! We appreciate it!
Salutations!!!
Knives Fast recommended your channel in his live stream and I gotta say I truly enjoy the vibes ..just a satisfying warmth of happiness while listening (I have low center vision so I am listening rather wtaching like a normal human haha)!!!!!!!
In a way I feel as I can enjoy the travels through your videos and perhaps that’s what you were going for. Either ways I grately appreciate the sharing of beautiful Nature!
I love Waterfalls! Place of true tranquility for me!! The Sharks jagged tooth with the fog rolling in and around really captivates my imagination allowing me to capture the image in my mind!!!
Joyous blessings!!! I subscribed as soon as my voice over read the Welcome and that you both travel along with a pup! I love both travel and DOGS!!!!!!!!!!!!! ☯️
Hi Greg! Thank you so much for listening! And we appreciate Knives Fast giving us a shoutout 😄 We are so glad you were able to envision this hike and are happy to have you here! ❤️

That was a gorgeous hike! You did a wonderful job sharing the beauty! Once again, you’re up before the sun! LOL. I’m a little behind on your videos!!!
The early mornings are tough! 😴
Oh my!! So beautiful!! I have to admit, watching you guys go up that waterfall all I could think of was, how are they going to get down?! lol What absolutely gorgeous scenery and great trails. Thanks again for taking me somewhere I will never get to go on my own. Loved it!!
Getting down was not very fun lol! It didn’t help there were lots of people waiting to go up, so having an audience only added to the pressure 😂
You’d love this one, so many photo opps!
Probably my all-time favorite hike.
Just got back from an epic Seattle/GNP vacation. Did the Sunrise Rim/Mount Fremont Loop, ate at the Pink Door. Thanks for your blogs - really helped our trip planning.
Continued safe travels…
We are so glad they helped! 🙌🏼
Thanks for sharing your Adventures!!!😃😃👍🏼 AWESOME!!!
Thank you for watching!
We went on this hike 2 weeks ago! Loved it
So glad you enjoyed the hike too!!
Super cool hike! Thanks for showing us. I'm about to head over to RMNP for a few days in my van next week! Excited thanks to y'all!
We hope you have a great time! This hike should definitely be on your list! Thanks, James!
Stunning scenery! I ate momos every chance I got when I was in Tibet years ago. THE BEST!!
Heck yes, that sounds delicious!
Hahaha we didn't even notice that! You know us, big rule breakers over here 😜
@@AdventuresofAplusK 😆haha! And I don't know how you guys get up so early. Can't wait for your next adventure. Cheers.
It’s brutal! But thankfully since Adam teaches at 4 AM most mornings we are used to being tired 😴
Thanks for introducing your audience to Estes Park!!! Nepal's just made my Must-Go List.
It’s such a great family run spot!
Just did this hike a couple days ago! What a beautiful and rewarding hike!!
So happy you enjoyed the hike too!
Oh wow that was really nice of that guy! Lucky! Too bad you missed him. That area is so beautiful!
It is so rough, but always worth it! And the pizza was SO dang good, highly recommend it!
Kathryn when you were climbing the waterfall, my first thought was how the heck are they going to get down! Great beautiful video guys! The lakes reflection was mesmerizing! ~Cara 😊
Getting down was not a blast lol!
Fabulous video thanks for showing us wonderful places most people will never see in there lifetime great work guys as always 👏👏👏
We're so glad you enjoyed it!
Aww.. poor Kona deserves a pot sticker (mo mo). Lol.
Great hike. I was there about two weeks ago. I wish I could have made it to Sky Pond but my husband has knee issues and we could only make it as far as Dream Lake. Antonio’s is great, we ate there twice during our visit.
Hahah she totally does! Dream Lake is an amazing hike!
Awesome video, Loved it, We were there last week camping in the park, You guys make awesome videos.
We hope y’all had a blast!
Enjoyed this! Thank you!
Yeah!
Hahah so awesome you saw that! It was fun running into others filming on the trail!
Sky Pond is our favorite RMNP hike too!!
It's amazing isn't it!?
Another amazing video!!! Love it!
Thank you so much! ❤️
Love your videos a lot. Actually I did Sky pond 3 weeks ago. Today I hiked the the rest of the lakes that was such a nice hike.
It sounds like we just missed you there!
Recently discovered your TH-cam site and Instagram! Love your content. It’s given me so many ideas for upcoming trips! I just did the SkyPond hike on 7/11 and was hands down one of my most favorite hikes ever!
Thank you so much for following along! So happy you enjoyed this hike too!
Thank you for the recommendation on this hike! When I first watched your video a few months ago, I knew I had to book a trip to do this hike and I finally went last week and it was awesome! There were 50mph winds when I did the hike so each lake had waves and the wind actually knocked me over one time 😂
Oh my gosh that is crazy! So glad you were able to do the hike and that it was still fun even with the wind!
I'm planning to hike Sky Pond next summer and that waterfall climb looks sketch but glad to see you guys conquer it. Safe travels you 3
You'll love it! If I can do it even though I hate climbing rocks, anyone can!
Bonus Pizza content! Love it. Sky Pond looks like the perfect day hike. I'll definitely be doing that one with the kids someday. Great vid as always.
Gahhh that pizza was SO GOOD!
Nice to know that waterfalls already melted , great hike
This was a few weeks ago too!
Kona is so good! Our Zoe would be drooling into the container…
Hahaha she tried to sneak a bite!
They were super good! And we are so excited to share what we have been up to in Wyoming. It has been beautiful!
Now I do! 😅
wow, it's amazing how crowded Colorado has become.
It's me again 🤣 the quality of the videography is amazing! Love the glass refllecttion, what a beautiful stillness you have captured. Really, enjoying watching you both. Best travel TH-camr !!👏👌💗💗
Thank you so much! We super appreciate the kind words!
Amazing episode!
Thank you Alan, glad you enjoyed it!
It’s a great area! We loved spending so much time there this time!
Antonio's Pizza is THE best pizza Ive ever had. Definitely a must have for anyone in the area.
It was the bomb! That NY style took us back to NY!
Wow! Such pristine & majestic views! So happy your timing worked out & stayed ahead of the fog.😅 I wish you 2 would open a Patreon. As a dedicated viewer who truly appreciates your content, it really would make me happy to contribute. If not for yourselves, then for Kona!😘
We got so lucky with the timing! And we had Patreon for a couple years, but have paused it for now as we focus more on creating free content for all to enjoy. We just don't have the bandwidth at the moment to give Patrons the value they deserve (and we don't feel comfortable having a Patreon without providing extra value). We super appreciate you wanting to support us! Watching our videos and reading our website helps us more than you know! 💕
Nepal's Cafe is the best! My wife and I live an hour away in Fort Collins and we make it a point to do the lunch buffet whenever we go. Good choice! If you're ever back in Colorado, you should come to Fort Collins for a day or two, you won't be disappointed!
We REALLY wanted to! And had we not had to get the van fixed in denver we had planned to! Next time for sure 😃
Well, if you want some suggestions for when you come, hit us up!
Great video! I am here now and will do this hike before sunrise tomorrow. I see you posted the video on July 23, 2021. Do you recall what day you hiked it? I like the conditions of some snow on the mountains.
I enjoyed your hike to Sky Pond 🥰🥰
We are so glad Pamela!
Oh, you visited our wedding town. Did you make it to Poppy’s specialty pizza or Mama Rose’s by the river? Our family & friends (an we of course) had a memorable time in EP. The mountains are calling and we must go ⛰❤️
We did not, but we did check out a couple other local spots! Beautiful area!
Estes Park is "a little touristy" because it was literally built to be a tourist attraction. If your REALLY bored you can watch a history video at the museum. Great hike, and the victory meal after is the best part!
Yeah, definitely not like the mining towns we visited, but we still enjoy walking around!
Beautiful hike 😍

@@AdventuresofAplusK love it!!! Thank you!!!
so Beautiful.. Lovely Video..
Thank you!
Did this hike two days ago, the climb down that waterfall was a bit scary
After doing Angel’s Landing this is my next bucket list hike
Highly recommend this one!
Hi, nice video men!
Have a nice day!🍀🍀
Greetings from Belgium!

Ooooh, pooor doooog ;-)
Do you share a list with all these awesome food places and the meals you tried during your adventures? It makes me sooo hungry watching you eating all this delicious stuff.
Safe travels
We have super detailed travel guides on our website! Still working on Colorado ones though, but should have them all done soon.
Awesome, thanks
This was the 10 miler my friend really wanted to go on, but after a few short hikes in RMNP, I don't think our bodies were ready. The vlog is incredible - nicely captured with honest feedback. Plus, I get to see what we missed. BTW, love all your videos, it's the perfect primer for hikes. Any recommendations on hiking up the slippery waterfall?
It’s hard to adjust to that altitude! And for the waterfall, going early helps because you can take your time without the pressure of others. And good shoes! It wasn’t too hard, we just had to be careful to not slip.
And yet another great video, where are you guys headed next?
We are in Wyoming now for a little bit 😄
When we would go to RMNP back in the ‘70s, we could go spontaneously and not worry about full parking lots and permits. It’s so full now
All of the parks are a lot busier these days as more folks want to get outdoors, but we appreciate the permit system to help keep the crowds slightly more manageable. There are still so many epic places in the US that are not super crowded and don't require permits!
Mango Lassi are the best!
We love them so much!
I am finally caught up on all your videos!! I have enjoyed everyone of them. I know it's not your style but did you see someone wrote your name on the Alberta Falls sign? I am so looking forward to future videos!
We didn't notice until someone commented that! I promise it wasn't us haha!
I've been waiting to to do this hike since last year on my first visit to RMNP, I was being too lazy and slept in the day of my hike so didn't go. I will not be making the same mistake next month!
We hope you enjoy it! It's worth being tired!
