That's why I respect you and your content. You do a superb job. The only one I'm willing to contribute a small token. Wish I could do more. Been waiting for this one with great anticipation, Buff. Tnx so much for doing it. Love the gel presentation. I keep a good stock of the origional CCI Quiet (40gr 710 fps). Even slower than the 22 short. I don't even keep any shorts around anymore. I have a Marlin bolt gun that I shoot them out of mostly, but they will also work in my Ruger 1022's but you have to manually work the bolt. No sweat. Your comment about Freedom is spot on. I know you appreciate the fact that a lot of Americans paid the ultimate price for that freedom, and I will never forget it. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I really appreciate your "down home" videos! Best to you and your family.

    Fantastic video.
I’ve been dispatching quite a few vermin up to possum size, which appeared to have mange, with CCI quiet. I’ve been using my old Remington Improved Model 6 falling block rifle with a 24” barrel for this duty. The segmented HP failed to perform instant results on a point blank head shot. The 40 grain solids puts lights out instantly every time.
Just my recent experience with this ammo. It’s great stuff for it’s intended purpose.

Thanks for the great video, Buffalo! My wife and I took a box of the segmented hollow points to the range this past weekend. Out of my Ruger LCRx 22lr 3" at 10 yards I had outstanding accuracy. (2 inch groups). From the wife's Ruger LCR 22lr at 7 yards, the same results. In addition they're immensely quiet out of the wheelguns! We may switch to these rounds in the EDC role during the summer when there's little chance of the bad guys wearing layered clothes. Just a thought...

I went to the range the other day with my Ruger 22/45 Lite pistol and just absentmindedly picked up a pack of the Segmented 40gr because it was all that was left on the shelf. I didn't even look closely at the box because, whatever some 22 plinking between my big guns. I took the suppressor off my 300blk AR and put it on the 22. *Click* Just the click of the hammer. I honestly thought the first round was a dud until I saw the hole in the paper. It failed to cycle but was like assassin movie silent. I was like wtf is this stuff and took a look at the box like ohhh neat. Not much pentation or stopping power especially out of a semi auto pistol that you have to manually rack each time, but s super fun range toy nonetheless.

I have some of the CCI quiet I bought in 2012 at a gun shiw. It was in the long plastic sleeves. It's been a while. I shot it in my bull barreled Ruger 10/22. I was shocked how quiet it was in that gun. I have a break barreled .22 air rifle that is about as loud it seemed. I don't the equipment to verify it but with just my ears I can tell they are very similar. I still have about 200 rounds of it as I rarely find myself shooting without PPE. It's a rare case when I breakout that ammo, but if I do I'm using that bull barreled 10/22. Thanks for a fun video and that block was extra clear that's for sure. 😉

I love cci quiet in my marlin bolt action and I shoot cci standard velocity in my ruger 10-22. I can take deer in my state with 22lr and have done so. I find that the solids always tumble through the chest cavity and gives quick, clean kills. Most don't go but 20 to 30 yards, however when possible I take head shots and hold my shots to 75 yards or less.
