I have a terrible confession. When I first saw you I thought to myself “oh no, she will annoy me to heck” Then I watched a bit longer - then I binged everything you’ve done and I was so wrong! You are fabulous!! I love your quirky humour, the little knit emojis at the right points and your way of Looking at things is so zingy and unusual! But at the same time informative and thought provoking! So I owe you an humble apology and hope you make a huge success of your channel! I will certainly be watching along with every new episode. Thank you!!! ❤
This is my favorite comment of all time. You’ve made me smile from ear to ear and I genuinely appreciate you sharing this with me! This made me think about the time I met one of my best friends. At first glance, I thought, “this girl looks terribly mean and we will never get along.” After being forced to get to know each other through work, we became inseparable for years! I love a good comeback story! Thank you so so much for giving me a chance and for coming back to hang out! I am so grateful! 💛✨🥰
Can I just say how much I love all of your practical suggestions for styling knitwear! Sharing your ideas on options for different looks really helps us visualize the possibilities.
Yayyyy! I’m so glad that you’ve found it helpful! As much as I’d love to say I’m the girl who wears the stilettos and slip skirts like you see on Pinterest, I’m in my boots and jeans every day! We gotta make these knits work for us!
Canadian chiming in...toque rhymes with fluke, you were correct 😊...toke is something someone does with marijuana 😒😄. Very inspiring episode! I've seen alot of bling this year by Kelly and Noelle of Knits N Pieces....especially in the yoke of a sweater ❤
Nora, you have an amazing mind for design, thankyou for such brilliant inspiration. Now I have to make a youtube inspiration folder and this video is the first one to go in there. Happy click clacking, Tara
That was the best knitting video I’ve seen! Having the fashion photos was marvellous, making a complete picture of the various styles. I am a woman in my sixties and even I could see something that I could make and wear. I am looking at your ravelry bundle of sparkly suggestions and I like what I see. Good job. ❤
The minute I saw the picture of you trying to get the ranunculus collar over your head I knew you were my girl. 🤣 What I didn’t expect was how much I would enjoy your styling and pattern videos. I look forward to each episode. Thank you Nora 💜😍
I found some yarn that is discontinued 😩 in my stash, and it wasn’t enough for a project I wanted it for, but I think getting a skein of sequins will be perfect to use it up 👏🏼👏🏼 going to order now!
LOVE, LOVE EVERYTHING about this episode!!! Thank you so much for your time and inspiration❤️! Cannot wait to thoroughly look over all of these patterns, choose and start knitting!!
I JUST finished a sparkle knit!! I did the Pressed flowers cowl in ALL sparkle yarn ... Sparkle red and Sparkle white flowers (tho the white is less "showy") But this is a great pattern to play with sparkle options (sparkle only the flowers, sparkle only the background, sparkle only the pokadoted sections and so on) .... and had to say a little shout out to the sparkled accessories you gave Ossie at the end 🐶👍
Thank you for so much fun! Just what I needed today! And just so you know . . .when I saw the Dragonnier I almost fell off the couch! Had to stop the video and go put in my Ravelry Library! And as soon as you said colorwork . . .I pictured . . .stay with me here . . .an Ice Blue sweater with sparkling snowflakes!
My god your videos are next level in every aspect. Attention to detail on top of everything is crazy. You pronounced Saoirse perfectly. Loved all ideas and enjoy your channel so much. Karen from Australia 🥰
I can’t believe the amazing sweater patterns you found for free! I watch a lot of podcasts but no one does the styling ideas like you do! I love that you show pictures of the yarn to help us visualize your ideas! Now I’m off to buy some sparkly yarn!
So many amazing options!!! Thank you 🥰 I realize that my brain is a funny little place that can see all this stuff so I try my best to find images to help show what I’m thinking too! I’m so glad it resonated with you!!
Wow such good ideas to punch up an outfit! Another option would be to embroider a sparkly flower, sequin star, etc on the item that could be removed if you tired of it. I love the insight you had on garments I would have not even considered!!!
I did not know that I needed sparkles in my life! The cable highlight idea is chefs kiss. I am a cable lover but they can get a bit pedestrian. I’m going to be glitzing up some of my saved cable patterns because you need sparkle in winter! Goodbye silk mohair hallo sequins and ginseng!
@@akaNoraKnits I was so excited because the last time a knitting TH-camr mentioned my channel, I ended up with 100 more subscribers! I’m new to all of this and really doing for fun and the response has been far more than I expected.
Love the sparkle 🌟!!! I’ve also seen this so many times on The Grocery Girls and always thought it wasn't for me; now I can see it working. Keep shining bright, Nora! Happy knitting 💚🧶💚 And Merry Christmas 🎄
I have 3 mini balls of some Lang mohair with golden shimmer threads running through it-I have no choice but to use in the neckline or cuffs! Wonderful ideas!!!
Loved this episode. What about highlighting patterns for hoods and balaclavas? I feel like they're pretty popular right now. Something different from that knitted hat.
I wonder if sparkly embroidery would work? With the stellina yarns that don’t have chunky sequins? I’m thinking it could look classy on a pattern like Grinalda (Rosa Pomar). Nora, thanks for your creative interpretations, research and suggestions for ways to style - even though bling isn’t personally my jam, it was a really fun episode to watch!
Oh my goodness! I love that idea! That way, you could always recover the garment and cut the embroidery out if it’s just too much for you too! Thank you so much 🥰✨
It's not sparkle sequins, but my sister has a basic raglan sweater she bought that's a deep pine green yarn with just a touch of gold angelina sparkle in it and it's divine. It reads as just green from afar but when you're close and the light catches it she radiates subtle sparkly gold. It's her favourite Christmas sweater for the office because it looks super professional but it's got that festive spirit to it.
I already have 2 sweaters and 6 gift knit accessories on my needles and now all I can think about is how much I need to cast on a Petiteknit sycamore sweater with a low contrast sparkle yarn for the triangular sections 😂
I tried to download the free Liv cardigan and it says it’s free in ravelry but it does not download in English. It shows the option but doesn’t let me select it. 😢
It's Devin Ventre (ventree) not Devon Venture. I only know because I watch Knitty McPurly. I think everyone should have to release a video pronouncing the names of their patterns and their names 😀 x

That hoodie at the end is just my style. Totally thinking winter white/cream or black so it can be dressed up or down! 🌟⭐Have a sparkly day! ⭐🌟

I love the idea of stripes!! That first sweater was amazing!
I love that one!
Fabulous knitter and fashion maven all in one. You’re fabulous.
Well, shucks ☺️ thank you so much!
Wow such good ideas to punch up an outfit! Another option would be to embroider a sparkly flower, sequin star, etc on the item that could be removed if you tired of it. I love the insight you had on garments I would have not even considered!!!
Yes I love that idea!!! ✨ thank you! 🥰
Oooo. I’m making my second Hokkaido sweater. First one made as a dress now making a regular one. Great pattern.
Ooh yayyy! I love hearing from people who have actually tried these patterns!!!
The sparkle pocket idea is Gee Nee Us! 🤩
Soooo cute and cozy!

Awww yay! I could even see giving an old cable knit and update by adding some paillettes in post! Such a fun way to update a classic!
Thank you so much for featuring my Plummery Cardigan! What a boost in the arm as a relatively new designer ❤️
Oh Sandy, it is so beautiful! An absolute staple for the wardrobe!!

I have always wanted to add sparkle glitter shimmer to the contrast sections of sycamore sweater by petiteknit!! Now I have to do it… 🤓🥳
You are not the only one! Run with it! I hope you love it!!! 💛✨
It's not sparkle sequins, but my sister has a basic raglan sweater she bought that's a deep pine green yarn with just a touch of gold angelina sparkle in it and it's divine. That is my favorite kind of sparkle! I love when something is only noticeable in just the right light or up close! It makes it so special!!!
I like how you got so excited that you duplicated your head. Not sure if you can fight crime with that superpower but it seems useful
Hahahaha I’d find it useful!
I have an all over sequin store bought cardi, never ever worn it haha. Probably less is more for me haha
You’ll sure be glad when the occasion comes to wear it!
