+Texan in Tokyo The clothes drying thing seems so strange! Pretty much everyone in Australia dries their laundry outside (land of the Hills Hoist clothesline), it just makes everything smell so fresh and clean and homey :')
Yes to all these things!! I don't even use the dryer for my clothes in America because it damages them, so it's nice to have lines everywhere here for laundry. :D
I'm not sure I get the appeal of heated toilet seats. If bathroom is so cold in winter that I need to heat up the toilet seat, I would worry about heating up the whole house than just the toilet in particular. ;)
Yeah, i''m even surprised that anybody would prefer a dryer rather than fresh air. Dryer is costy and mostly damage your clothes. I'm french by the way
I live in Idaho, and our dryer broke in January so I started hanging the laundry to dry. When spring rolled around we put up a clothes line outside and that is where everything dries now. I will hang in the house during the winter. Not planning on buying a dryer anytime soon. Loving it!
Your husband reminds me of Peter Pan, quite adorable and entertaining to watch how he gets excited about pretty much everything. And your eyes are just breathtaking beautiful, you are the cutest couple! 🐻💖
We "could" upgrade our lighting systems. There's "The Clapper"... That turns lights on and off by clapping. Then there are fancy techy programs you can have installed but I think they are still a bit spendy. You control them with your phone.
+ThatJapaneseManYuta they're starting to get more popular with the middle class with professional home lighting/renovation/construction companies pushing them more often now!
Yea, nobody has those, we are weird :/ Maybe in newer homes, but the entire neighborhood where I live was built in the 1930s and we just replaced the original plumbing at my house a few years ago, yea :P
ive lived in both new zealand and australia for many years in both (as im kiwi) and we always hang our clothes outside, unless its raining usually its too expensive to run the dryer but i didn't realize it made it smell and feel different? when you mentioned it i thought there was a weird way they hung it out haha
Saskia I'm marrying a Kiwi and noticed this when I visited her over the summer! There is definitely a difference between machine drying and air drying. Also, finding a good steak pie in Texas is pretty much impossible. And Burgerfuel...oh how I miss Burgerfuel. ;_;
We do not. It's depressing. An their Twitter account keeps teasing me saying they're working on it. ;_; But yeah I really wish meat pies were a thing in the states. We have chicken pot pie which is like chicken soup in a pie but ehh...doesn't come close to the ones y'all have!
shkeptikal I never even thought of that, i travel a lot but never missed pies i guess its not a big thing to me, but i can see your problem, i have so much food i love but cant have because its not the same in the country i'm in, maybe you could look up recipes?
In Switzerland we hang our clothes outside too... Tumble dryers are very very expensive and they use a lot of energy :/ i have to tumble dry my stuff now because of all the cat fluff :(
I get so happy when I get a notification from TH-cam that says you put up a new video! My son teases me because I talk about your videos all the time. I just love learning about Japan through your adventures together! Thank you for the great videos!
the thing I miss in Ireland the most is those little bags they give you in Hong Kong in every shopping mall, hotel etc. for your umbrella - rainy season in HK is really bad, but Ireland is worse. So far for past few weeks there haven't been a day without rain and when I go shopping after work I have to carry that wet umbrella making everything wet, including myself. Just give us those bags here! :D #firstirishproblems :D
Just found your channel & I couldn't stop watching you two!! I think it's great that your documenting all your travel & just basic life as a young married couple! I've always wanted to travel like that but life just kinda has other ideas! Lol. So I'll just live vicariously thru u2! 🤗 seriously though, you are making very good & interesting videos so keep them coming! Sending Lots of Love from Cabin Creek West Virginia...
We love the fact that there is no tipping in Japan. We don't really do it in Australia either so we are always confused about what to do when we travel to other countries where it is usual. Haha
+Notes of Nomads Only place it's really necessary (as far as I know) is the US. I'm Canadian and we mostly do it out of a politeness thing but only really for certain things and it' nbd if you don't. Drives me crazy when I go places for services that you pay ahead for and their machine prompts you for a tip. I think "You haven't done anything yet. How do I know you're not going to do a horrible job?"
+Jade Harris Haha The whole point of a tip is a reward for good service, right?? Prompting for a tip before the job's been done feels presumptuous (and a bit greedy)!
Notes of Nomads Exactly. Certain things I don't see the point. I'd rather tip the chef because their job takes skill and talent. You don't tip your cashier for not being rude and actually doing their job. Why tip the person transporting the food when the quality of the food defines the entire experience?
Omg, it IS you!! I saw your books online on Amazon and thought they looked interesting. I think I might buy them now when I save up. You guys are awesome. Like truly. :)
I have a friend from Hiroshima, I rode in his car with him a few times, he'd brought something to the US from Japan that I'd never seen before and after seeing it, it was one of those things that made me ask, "why don't we have those here." What my friend had was a cup holder that snaps on to the AC vent in the car, that way when it's hot out, chances are you'd have a cold beverage, you put your cold beverage in that cup holder and with the AC on it keeps your drink cold, and in the winter, chances are you'd have a hot beverage and your heater on in the car, so having your hot beverage in the cup holder attached to the AC vent would then keep your hot drink hot.
Don't get me wrong here, its nice and all to have, but when you have a large coke (Dr. Pepper for me) from McDonalds, the a/c vent will only hold so much weight. Just saying really. I mean, cup holders here have many uses, like me, from time to time, I end up putting some sort of car part in the cup holders in my 02 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
I love watching these! As a Texan trying to move to Japan, I feel like you guys would be easy friends for me. You're both really genuine. Thanks for making videos.
You are the most kawaii couple/individuals ever. I just discovered you 2 days ago (sorryyyy...) and just felt like adopting you both instantly, although you are not orphans in need of old parents or grandparents like me. I watch/browse all things Japanese as I love them all, and now on top of that, I love you too guys! Every time I'll miss Calpis again, I'll watch you as a consolation. :) Thanks for bringing my fav country back here into my home, you are so good at what you do. Ryosuke you are such a gem. Grace, your eyes are so beautiful and you are so talented. Best of the best wishes. xoxoxox
Jikku, I prefer to adopt them...but give me a minute to see if you are as kawaii as they are. Don't you have a grandmother of your own? She might be even younger than me, I'm 63 and have no grand-children...yet, but when it comes to 'adopting' some, beware - I'm choosy LOL. I like smart, talented and funny young people. Do you fit that profile?
I'm 'fit'...? Oh well, thanks, that is really "flattering". Stereotyping? Aren't you stereotyping yourself pretty much? Revise what you typed here if you have any doubts... Next time when you fish (with your 'remarkable talent') for women on the internet, you, self descriptive "boring, inept, ugly. skinny, brown guy" have a look at the photo first and talk after, not the other way round. Although my advice to you is go talk to the girls in the street, in real time, in real life, those that are not separated from you by few seas/oceans and by 3-4 decades. No, we cannot be 'cool' and stop bothering me.
Your list sounds pretty good, but my personal favorite are windows that open to the inside making it super easy to wash both sides without needing to drag out a ladder. But I don't know if the Japanese have that or not. The Germans do.
Windows that open at the bottom and at the side (in Germany), that way you can open the window at the bottom during the rain but still open it wide like a door for maximum airflow in the summer. Also the habit of airing out a room every morning(especially in the winter) I learned while in Germany. No one does that in the US.
maxsnts Honestly it isn't an issue with modern houses or apartments due to a number of factors, even in the Pacific Northwest where I live. Central heating/air conditioning being the foremost, because all the the air is cycled through these units humidity levels rarely get high enough for mold. We use dehumidifiers for basements and other areas that have high humidity. Combined with the fact that modern windows and frames are made from double walled, insulated and synthetic materials they don't provide a place for mold to grow. I myself air out my room every morning simply to prevent any stuffiness or smells. but it wouldn't make sense to air out the main house because that would cost a lot of money to heat back up.
You guys are so cute!!! (I hope it doesn't sound weird. You two brighten my day every time you upload a new video) Do people in America really not dry their laundry outside? That's so odd, but now that I think about it, it kinda doesn't surprise me so much? It's like, "ah yes, makes sense for American people not to do that"
+Mitsunyan Yup, what Toker said. I think we do it because we perceive it to be more convenient in the sense that you can simply load your laundry straight from one machine to the other, in addition not having to worry about the weather, or other people seeing/stealing clothes. (Not that they would be stolen, but we would think that they could be, depending on the state/area.)
+Herb Toker I like having my clothes cleaned and dried ASAP, lol. We've grown impatient like that. And lazy. Why spend time carrying heavy baskets of wet clothes, fumbling with clothes pins, waiting an hour or more for the clothes to dry and then having to go collect them again when you could just...shove them in a dryer for the same amount of time and less effort? :) I do understand either side, I honestly do, but I love convenience and if nothing else in America, washers and dryers are just that. Plus, dryers make AMAZING irons!! Wet a shirt or some pants just a bit, throw it in the dryer for fifteen minutes and voila! You have wrinkle-free clothes, perfect especially for if you need it for work! :) While it dries, you could be doing other things to get ready.
Haha that's nice guys. I guess I didn't think about people who can afford stuff like clothes dryers and dishwashers and all the other handy tech that you can technically still live without :D
+Fluffymiyster You live in the wrong part of the country, with a gentle wind, my clothes dry in 10 minutes, a stiff breeze, and when I empty the basket, I can start taking down the clothes.
you guys are too cute! Also, those things sound so amazing! when I was younger, we used to dry our clothes outside as well, but with Texas weather it was sometimes hard to bring them in before the train came out lol
I have just found your channel and I really love it as I have been watching you guys for nearly 2hrs now!! I just wanted to say that in the U.K we hang our daily washing out to dry. The sunlight makes your clothes much whiter and helps remove stubborn stains, it is also a natural amazingly antibacterial and antiviral way to clean your clothes. I only use my tumble drier in the winter on days it is raining (it doesn't rain as much as people think in England!). Anyway, I need to crack on with the housework and the children will be coming from school shortly, our youngest is only in his second week of half-days in Infant School! (We have 3 sleeping angels, and an 11 yr old, an 8 yr old and our 4yr old) Love from England to Japan, Oshie Dot Xx
Grace, I'm from Texas too (deep south Texas), and hanging clothes outside is still used to dry clothing, especially in the summer. Obviously a drying machine speeds up the process (much like dishwashing machines), but we personally don't own a dryer, and use employ the sun :D If it's a overcast winter day, or rainy, and we have lots of clothes that need a wash, we run down to the local laundromat hehe. Also, many backyards aren't visible, depending on the house or fence, and hanging underwear is no problem. A citrus tree can also help lol.
not even funny as a joke.... but if atomic bombs was to be dropped.... it should be on America they seem to be the most military and geo-politically aggressive on earth atm. They literally just invade other countries then tell their own public a different made up story.
Tai Van trust me, that was a LONG time ago. Japan and USA are pretty much best friends, Japan pretty much needs USA. They are one of the best trade partners, and USA even signed a deal to protect Japan from invaders. And, USA will aid Japan in a lot of wars.
Man! I AM envious of your vending machines!!! You can get real food from them. And booze! And stuff! We do have movie rental vending machines all over now. Nothing like looking for a movie at -18 f. Hanging laundry out only works in summer up here and I do know some people who do it but mostly in the country. Plus, nothing beats pulling a load of towels out of the dryer and burrowing under them! 😊 OH - hanging them outside you also run the risk of a moose getting its antlers tangled and running off with your undies. They get tangled in swing sets and Christmas lights every year. Love these videos 💜 you've shown me tons of reasons we should visit Japan!
We live just south of Austin and recently returned from a trip to Japan. I miss so many things!!! Our list is very similar! I love Japanese vending machines!!! Why do I have to get in a car just to get a drink when I want one?! #firstworldproblems
A rice cooker, for me. Cooking Japanese style rice at home is tricky because you have to get the water to rice ratio just spot on, and make sure you remember to boil it before simmering it with the lid covering the pot, and if you forget any of these steps or get the consistency (and even the cooking time) wrong, the whole batch just goes to shit, which is a pain because buying the little boxes of "sushi rice" here in England is pricy. I really want a Japanese rice cooker in my home.
Here in ny a lot of carribean people and ppl with different cultures who arent really white, will dry their clothes outside. i live in queens, ny so the neighborhoods are very diverse. its not only a japanese thing bcuz cultures are really similar and thats the awesome apart of culture 😁😁😁😄
haha you guys are adorable! and whenever I'm overseas I really appreciate that in japan we can just leave our stuff unattended in public and not be scared that someones going to steal it!
I know this is an old video, but the whole hanging your clothes outside to dry got me. lol I have always wanted to dry my clothes like that. My mom would tell me how soft they would feel and the smell would be so nice and stay for a few wears. Sadly I've noticed that most HOAs have it set so you can not hang your clothes outside. I was an ex military brat so I lived like everywhere and none of these places ever allowed us to hang our clothes... :(
Depending on where you live, your state may have laws protecting your right to dry clothes on your property: www.sightline.org/2012/02/21/clothesline-bans-void-in-19-states/
Hanging clothes outside makes them smell really nice, but they aren't softer in my experience. Actually it makes the towels feel like sandpaper. I much prefer a dryer for the softness.
Fiennesgirl, I used to be like that but then I started to dry my clothes and my towels on a rack and now soft towels feel weird. I also stopped using softeners since they make towels less absorbent.
You know, you have that Japanmap in the background and you visited so many nice places! Maybe you could make a little video about the geography of japan and show on the map the places you've been to. Because I feel like japan has a lot of different terrains and climates and stuff :3 just an idea.
I went to Japan in May. Since then, when my mom and I go into a restaurant, I'm always looking for the little things that keep your utensils from touching the table. But we don't have that here! I get so frustrated, lol because I want to use my napkin for me, but it has to be on the table so my utensils don't touch the table. Also, in Japan I didn't have to go into the restroom to wash my hands, restaurants had little sinks outside the restroom. It was Soooo nice. Miss it so much. I love your show, it's so interesting and hilarious. Thank you!!!
it's a shame to have found that you guys have quit youtube. I just randomly found you guys tonight, and I'm really enjoying the vids. Congrats on the personal life decisions and what not. (Y)
So... I spent a summer in Austria (with a side trip to Munich) a few years ago. I never saw remote controls for the lights there, but I still found something that I wish we had in the US. In the Salzburg University dorm I lived in for the summer, in someone's house I visited, and in the Munich hostel I stayed in for a weekend, the bedrooms all had a second light switch right next to the bed, which I found incredibly useful. I've never seen that anywhere in the US, even though I saw thousands of bedrooms in the time I worked as a real estate inspector.
You guys are so adorables and charming! Dammit! you almost left your man one-eyed! poothing! >_< Excellent list of japanese things we can't live whitout (Y) Of course Texas-woman, the japanese thing you can't live without is this japanese guy so charming and funny, Ryosuke ^_^ you guys do a nice couple XD BTW, how is going your Spanish, Ryosuke? Espero que muy bien ;) Besos y abrazos, para los dos, desde Caracas~Venezuela ^_^ Feliz Navidad! :)
Haha! He had me cracking up the entire time! Btw, I'm from Houston. So it's nice to see a fellow Texan as a TH-camr overseas in a country I'm quite fond of.
+Andy Blaszkiewicz-DiBacco Not completly since when it is dark you would walk into the bedroom, turn on the lights with the switch next to the door, walk to the bedside table and light up that lamp and then you would have to walk back again to the door to turn the lights back off again. The proper, low tech solution is to have a second switch near the bed that also controls the lights. Added benifits: you can't lose the switch and it will never run out of batteries.
Love all your videos. Got your first book for Chrismas. Would love to see you and Ryosuke do a reaction video to Babymetal's Gimme Chocolate youtube video followed by a discussion of their impact on the Japanese music scene.
RE: the lack of vending machines- I live in Oakland California, but it is common throughout the region (San Francisco/Portland OR/Seattle), for most people to carry reusable water bottles and/or insulated canteen, for water or hot drinks. I think it is because we have very clean water that tastes really good, and also people are environmentally conscious. I've been starting to see more and more that there are water filling stations too, where you can re-fill your water bottle. I've seen them at places like national parks, festivals, and street fairs. I really wish that as a society, drinking fountains were more common.
I didn't know you could sleep in internet/manga cafes, that's really convenient and nice. Can you possibly do a vlog in the future where you go to one? Keep up the great work :)
A Wawa coffee travel mug?! Wawa is the best convenience store ever. My family has always hung their clothes out on the clothesline. Well not in the winter, but definitely in the spring and summer. Actually, my Grandmom hangs hers in her basement when it's too cold outside to dry them properly. I would miss all those things if I had them, too. Thanks for the great video!
It's not really a thing I miss, because I've never been to Japan, but I do frequent a local Kinokuniya that's in a Mitsuwa near Chicago. I remember the first time I went there and bought a small item she wrapped it in this gorgeous printed paper bag. Which was ironic because it actually was a gift for someone so I thought maybe she had heard me say something and just did it out of kindness. Then the next time it happened again and again after that... so apparently that's just a thing. The paper's are always so pretty, the last one had koi swimming on it, so I posted it up on my wall. It's a small thing but it makes me as a customer feel very special.
Hanging washing outside is a big thing here in NZ as far as I'm aware. I don't own a dryer, though (can't afford one just yet) so winter months are terrible as we have to dry clothing inside and it just feels...wrong. My favourite thing is hopping into a bed made with fresh clean sheets! Nothing quite like it lol.
SORRY EVERYONE. Yes. Of course. Ryosuke is my #1 Japanese thing I can't live without.
Hehehe I'm sure we all knew that! ;)
Did you make any videos during your time in Texas? :)
Whaaat? I am not a thing! I am Ryo-chan!!
+Texan in Tokyo I love the smell of sun dried laundry too. =)

" I swear we don't script this, your ridiculous, I love you." lmmfao!!! omg I laughed so hard.... haha

+Misty Nguyen Thanks for laughing! I am so happy now :D (Ryosuke)

+Texan in Tokyo yes I want a ryouske so bad don't ever let him go
also don't leave him alone the fan girls and boys will get him
I have to say, I prefer cold toilet seats. The feeling of warmth gives me the impression that someone else had just sat on it.....
Amanda Hepting lol one might debate for the same purpose
Best comment. Its so true and at the same time, so funny.
HAHAHAHA.... So true....
I'm not sure I get the appeal of heated toilet seats. If bathroom is so cold in winter that I need to heat up the toilet seat, I would worry about heating up the whole house than just the toilet in particular. ;)
Some toilet seats are always cold like if you have a marble seat...
Here in Germany it's totally normal too to dry the cloths outside in the sun when you have a yard or garden.
I think everywhere in Europe actually.
it is how we do it in latin america as well. Dryers are not so common
Yeah, i''m even surprised that anybody would prefer a dryer rather than fresh air. Dryer is costy and mostly damage your clothes. I'm french by the way
Here in Texas, most people don't, but my wife and I line dry most of our clothes... It is just so wasteful to use a dryer.
I live in Idaho, and our dryer broke in January so I started hanging the laundry to dry. When spring rolled around we put up a clothes line outside and that is where everything dries now. I will hang in the house during the winter. Not planning on buying a dryer anytime soon. Loving it!

We hang out our clothes all the time, nearly everyone in the UK does it and only use the tumble dryer to either fluff up towels or in bad weather.

Yay for WAWA!! :)
As a native Philadelphia(n), I was like: WaWa mug? Holy SHIT!!!
IM FROM FLORIDA AND I LOVE WAWA
Florida wawas yay lol
Wawa is representative of so much that is awesome in America. To those AMericans who don't know, I'm sorry. You're missing out, it's that simple.
Grace, your hair is so freaking ON. POINT. And Ryosuke has to be the most adorable, loveable, cutest piece of fluff I have ever seen.
Lucky couple

And stop being so adorable, Grace and Ryosuke, plz! I died 6 times watching this video 😍

seraphiccandy21 Yeah, but we don't drink like squires here in the US either. :)

I love how Ryosuke has something adorable and goofy to do in *every* video!!! Y'all are so good for each other, it's so sweet watching you guys!!! ^.^
You don't air your houses? What do you do to keep the moister under control to prevent mold?
maxsnts Honestly it isn't an issue with modern houses or apartments due to a number of factors, even in the Pacific Northwest where I live.
Same in Austria. Probably most if not all of Europe. American windows are strange.
Yeah, basically nobody has A/C in their home here in Austria. Makes the about 2 to 4 weeks of extreme heat in summer unbearable (up to 40°C w/o A/C).
You guys are the cutest couple ever! I love watching your videos because they are usually pretty informative and also extremely funny!
The Japanese thing we all don't want to live without....Ryosuke!!!! :)
+xingcat Indeed! He's so awesome! I'm happy that Grace married such a nice fellow.
Oh yes. Oops. If course!! That's my number one thing!!!
You guys are so sweet together, this is one of the first videos i've seen of yours and it's adorable :)
You guys are so cute!!! (I hope it doesn't sound weird. You two brighten my day every time you upload a new video)
Do people in America really not dry their laundry outside? That's so odd, but now that I think about it, it kinda doesn't surprise me so much? It's like, "ah yes, makes sense for American people not to do that"
Yes, most if not all, usually dry our clothes in a clothes dryer.
Also, those things sound so amazing! when I was younger, we used to dry our clothes outside as well, but with Texas weather it was sometimes hard to bring them in before the train came out lol
oops, meant rain, not train xD
Ryosuke is so adorably cute!
I love that he is drinking from a Wawa mug!
you guys are so fun and cool!! i'm learning japanese this semester in school and i'm so excited!!!!
Ryosuke is clearly the youngest child. XD
Grace, I'm from Texas too (deep south Texas), and hanging clothes outside is still used to dry clothing, especially in the summer. Obviously a drying machine speeds up the process (much like dishwashing machines), but we personally don't own a dryer, and use employ the sun :D
If it's a overcast winter day, or rainy, and we have lots of clothes that need a wash, we run down to the local laundromat hehe.
Also, many backyards aren't visible, depending on the house or fence, and hanging underwear is no problem. A citrus tree can also help lol.
also the silence in the subway and lines that they make in japan, gosh arent japanese people civiliazed
All it took was two atom bombs.
no... just no...
not even funny as a joke.... but if atomic bombs was to be dropped.... it should be on America they seem to be the most military and geo-politically aggressive on earth atm. They literally just invade other countries then tell their own public a different made up story.
dont think of it as invasion think of it as be forced into freedom
Tai Van trust me, that was a LONG time ago. Japan and USA are pretty much best friends, Japan pretty much needs USA. They are one of the best trade partners, and USA even signed a deal to protect Japan from invaders. And, USA will aid Japan in a lot of wars.
Ryousuke is honestly so adorable. Just with his way of being.
oh the remote lights exist here....its just super expensive to install
You two are so sweet, I genuinely love watching your videos.
You guys are cuter than puppies and lots more fun. Good for everybody who hangs clothes to dry; it is so sensible!
Its impossible to dry clothes outside in Florida. Between pop up showers and the humidity, clothes just wouldn't dry
Oooh I just found your channel via Rachel and Jun, and Ryosuke is so funny omg! What a great personality!
We live just south of Austin and recently returned from a trip to Japan. I miss so many things!!! Our list is very similar! I love Japanese vending machines!!! Why do I have to get in a car just to get a drink when I want one?! #firstworldproblems
+Sydney Moore So true! haha
Yeah you're lucky if you have a Valero around the corner here in San Antonio 😨
+Texan in Tokyo waiting for the video about the Japanese toilet! Really excited about that. The world needs that invention 🎉✌️ ビデオお願いします!
I have no clue how I ended up on your videos, but I love you guys! I've never been to Japan (one day) but I can't stop watching
Ok I just saw the wawa cup your husband was drinking out of! 98% of them are in Pennsylvania where I am from. Awesome!!!
Yup! I love WAWA :) I used to go there all the time!! (Ryosuke)
That is awesome. I grew up in Maryland, and when I moved to Texas a couple years ago one of the things I missed most was Wawa !!!
we hang clothes outside in england too. in winter it's on a standing rack thing by a radiator, unless you have the money and space for a tumble dryer.
haha I love the things Ryosuke says.
yesss he's so goofy
"Japanese things I can't live without" = Just about everything except Nattou and Ume.
Cheers, thanks for a great video guys! ^^
Thomas
lol i wanna hear the skating story!!!!!
Here in ny a lot of carribean people and ppl with different cultures who arent really white, will dry their clothes outside. i live in queens, ny so the neighborhoods are very diverse. its not only a japanese thing bcuz cultures are really similar and thats the awesome apart of culture 😁😁😁😄
part of culture**
haha you guys are adorable! and whenever I'm overseas I really appreciate that in japan we can just leave our stuff unattended in public and not be scared that someones going to steal it!
*****
It is indeed. I guess it's the price of freedom of speech...Everyone who is grumpy mostly gets a say ;-;
We don't hang them outside because people will steal them.
I love your idea!
Heated toilet seats? I HATE warm toilet seats. Freeze mah butt. That's how I like it.

I love you guys so much I live in Corpus Christi,Tx & I hope to live in Japan one day too!
+Kristina Gonzalez Japan is waiting for you!!
+Texan in Tokyo
oooo! you replied😱😊
Yes I can't wait!!😄
+Nydia Díaz Thanks! I am glad I still have two eyes :D haha my spanish?...........Muy bien :) haha (Ryosuke)
Haha! He had me cracking up the entire time!
Btw, I'm from Houston. So it's nice to see a fellow Texan as a TH-camr overseas in a country I'm quite fond of.
Hmm interesting. In Hawaii, it's very common to dry clothes outside.
Great-looking couple! You both have beautiful smiles! Fun to watch!
I just throw a potato at the switch to turn it off when I'm lazy.
Oh course you do
Viet Lee laser pointer and a cat...
VIIIIEEETTT so funny seeing you here after watching Judy's vlogs
Interesting, great video! But about the lights thing, I'm American and I have a lamp on my bedside table. Wouldn't that kind of fix the problem?
+Andy Blaszkiewicz-DiBacco It would solve the problem! haha you are right!
I haven't lived in Japan but I need vending machines. I waaant more.
The remote control lights are cool! But bedside lights are how we handle the reading in bed/not getting out of bed thing in the UK.
Ryosuke was trying to be cute and then got his eye poked
Sunlight is actually a disinfectant. It purifies water, stops mold from growing and a bunch of other really great things.
Here in america we have the clapper to turn on and off the lights
Love all your videos. Got your first book for Chrismas. Would love to see you and Ryosuke do a reaction video to Babymetal's Gimme Chocolate youtube video followed by a discussion of their impact on the Japanese music scene.
i want that toilet video ryouskee! *^*// please make it! ;-;
From Texas I couldn't live without Whatburger, HEB, or my handgun.
I really wish that as a society, drinking fountains were more common.
dude her eyes are so beautiful my goodness
I didn't know you could sleep in internet/manga cafes, that's really convenient and nice. Can you possibly do a vlog in the future where you go to one? Keep up the great work :)
JAPAHNESE TOILET VIDEEOOOOOOO NAAAOOOO
And then Grace has to do the awkward random funny acting stuff while Ryo-chan educates us
A Wawa coffee travel mug?!
Ryosuke is bae
+Douglas De Fatima Yaaay :D (Ryosuke)
He's like a cartoon character
...
or a drug addict?
XD
+Lan Krownet Haha I am just Ryo-chan :D (Ryosuke)
Hanging washing outside is a big thing here in NZ as far as I'm aware. I don't own a dryer, though (can't afford one just yet) so winter months are terrible as we have to dry clothing inside and it just feels...wrong. My favourite thing is hopping into a bed made with fresh clean sheets! Nothing quite like it lol.
Thumbs up for tear drop drinks
Your eyes just glow! Love your videos so much!
Happy wife, happy life 💖😸
i like that grocerie store can heat your food, you buy this ready to eat meals and you have to wait until you get home to eat
RYOSUKE YOUR TEARS HAVE SALT YOULL DEHYDRATE
+IDEK Exactly my thoughts..
+IDEK You know what? I am not that smart! haha (Ryosuke)
