Made this today (Dec 20) tiny bit modified....EXCELLENT quick recipe.....I used my LC Braiser shown, but finished it in the oven at 350 degs F. without the lid to crisp up the chicken skin. And because I'm on keto...I left out the taters and the carrots, but used everything else. DEE LICIOUS!!! That smoked paprika is wonderful....first time I ever used it after watching this recipe.....Thanks for posting!!!
*Outstanding!* So happy to hear you enjoyed this recipe and that it turned out to be a tasty dish even without the carrots & taters. Thank you for the wonderful comment, much appreciated.🙂
I'm desperately scouring the interwebs for recipes I can cook for my husband, which don't involve starches (even good ones (IMO) like taters); he has forbidden them in his current diet. Glad to know this dish is great without them - or in our case: on the side, 'cause I want to eat them myself. :D
My 2.25qt Indigo LC Braiser was delivered yesterday. Looking for a good recipe to break it in tonight. This recipe maybe a great candidate. Can’t wait!
Tasty Fare 101 thank you so much for your quick response. I’ve been considering getting one. The cheapest I’ve seen is for $288 online at Crate & Barrel.
Hi Paul, I noticed that I have the cooking time for the chicken, 2 minutes on both sides and 30 minutes on low-medium stovetop heat or until the veggies are tender...in the video and not in the description. Sorry about that. I will add the directions today. 👍
I would definitely go with a 3.5 Qt.....you never know when you might throw a dinner party for 4. It's a lifetime investment that you can grow into or cook for 2.
@@TastyFare101 Thanks so much for your reply! My Marseille 3.5 Qt got delivered today, and I was confused if I should keep it or exchange it for a 2.5 Qt braiser. Guess I will stick with the 3.5 Qt braiser.
Good eye catching the metal tongs. The rubber tipped tongs I was using in the beginning of the video fell on the floor just before pulling out the chicken. No time to wash it again so I grabbed the next set of tongs in my reach. 🙂
Bro has heat way too high. Cast iron = low and slow. “The deep charcoal infused notes allow the pallet to process and ponder a flavour that should be avoided when cooking”
@@elsut2357 I'm happy to hear you have a new braiser...congratulations. I went with the chicken thighs because of the flavor level is higher than chicken breast. Either will be sure to please your palate.

I just purchased a Lodge braiser and was looking for a chicken dish to cook in it. This looks perfect to me!
Looks so yummy. A real cold weather dinner to make you feel warm and cozy inside.
Indeed it was....I loved every bite.
Love one pot dishes. Please share more such recipes. Thanks.
Thanks for the comment and I sure will create more one pot videos in the near future.👍

Yummy is the word I used to describe this lovely dish. Let me know how it works out.
We just got a braiser and I am so excited to try this. Will let you know how it turned out.
I remember when we brought ours home. Couldn't decide what to create first...very exciting indeed. Have fun with your new braiser!
@@TastyFare101 What color is your braiser?
Thanks for sharing! 🙂 what size braiser is that?
Hi Lorena, it's a 5.5 quart size braiser. We love it and use it several times a week. Thanks for the comment and enjoy the day.

Hey, I am a bachelor, and I usually cook a two-person meal. Should I get the 3.5 Qt or a 2/2.5 Qt Le Creuset braiser?

Hey 101 Maybe do you manage a restaurant?😝 Your dish looks very assorted and perfect!! Definitely different with other channels😍👍🏻98
Well, back in the day I worked in a few restaurants as a bartender/server and always had a blast at it. 👍🙂
Tell me why, why using metal utensil in the Le Creuset braiser

This Hungarian is offended.
If you eat this dish, you won't be hungary any more.
Didn’t say sweet or spicy paprika
Hi Joseph, It's neither sweet nor spicy, it's smoked paprika.
@@TastyFare101 hi can I use chicken breast OR chicken thighs are better? This really looks delicious I’m so happy I will get to use my 3.5 braiser 🙂
