Santa Fe certainly doesn’t disappoint! I think of all the states in America that I have visited New Mexico is one of my very favourites. The colours, the serenity, the jewellery, food, vistas......you just can’t beat it. Loved the vlog! Look forward to more NM.
I love Santa Fe in the summer but not so much in December, I liked to have froze. One day the high was 7° the next day it was 17° and the wind blew so had it was pulling tears from my eyes.
One of the absolute BEST YOU TUBE VIDEO of the thousands I've watched. THANK YOU so much for sharing the footage of the dinner theater. I may just drive over for dinner one night. AWESOME!!!
My wife and I have lived in Santa Fe most of our lives. If ever you find your way back here, we’d love to show you more of Santa Fe and the surrounding area. It’s fun listening to visitors experiences. When you live in a destination town, you sometimes forget how special it can be living here.
That's great. I'm sure we'll be back... but don't know when. Probably just Trish and I next time and we'll go for a different Santa Fe experience. So much to do.
We've loved visiting Sante Fe every time we've traveled to Albuquerque to visit family. We especially love walking Canyon Road and exploring all of the art galleries. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Well, I didn't cry at the end, but I did have to look at the ceiling a little bit! Great video, folks! Oh, and more Carson's Angry Reviews - that guy is hilarious!
Guys, I am telling. I am so motivated by your channel that we purchased an RV and we are going to travel America. I truly hope we get to meet you some day during our travels. Keep these cool, amazing videos coming! And God bless your family!
My husband and I bought our first RV after watching your video. Since I have watched all of them and continue to look forward to each week. This video is one of my favorites! I love your excitement, the entertainment and your visuals of the city. My very favorite part is the music during the wiper scene at the end. We are making plans for our travels next year and will be using your videos as a guide. THANK YOU!
Thanks for the comment. We love the feedback. Helps us know how to edit going forward. Many people liked the ending. Maybe something we should do more of. I recall many positive comments the last time we ended with driving down the road with a pretty landscape and music.
So my family made a decision to move in October. Uprooting our life and picked a spot on the map. As military veterans we are used to moving. But as time drew closer, something else took hold as we were selling stuff. We had originally planned on getting an RV for the move, but we landed on your channel and we're watching in rapt attention. Then just after Thanksgiving, the VA rated me 100% disabled. A long time in the making. I did the math and we talked. We choose then to retire and take our family rving full time. We start our journey January 1st. Thank you for the tips, tricks and hope. One week of work left. Then a week after that and we start. We will have more options with national park discounts and ability to stay at military base RV parks. But we are looking forward to our new adventure. I might even start a blog so vets know what's possible. Thanks again for the inspiration.
Wow, great. You should defiantly start a blog. Your perspective would offer so much hope and inspiration for people in a similar situation. After the new year, we'll be providing some more info on how to create content (starting with a vlog), but by the Spring we'll have content for other types of content.
I so love Santa Fe! Thank you for re-acquainting me wonderful laid back Santa Fe. I agree with you about the showtunes . . . the performers we FANTASTIC!!! You guys do such a wonderful job of sharing the fun and adventure, thank you!
Thanks for the tour at the springs. I have to say, I just love the antic dotes about the things you discover about your trailer after all this time. It brings back a lot of memories of my own trailer travailing so many years ago.
Another great vid guys! You have a way of pulling the viewers in, making us feel as though we’re right there hanging out with you. 1 episode a week is not enough!
And with this video, I have just finished watching all your videos in the last 2 weeks. Your family is awesome. Thank you for deciding to RV full time and share it all with us. Your videos are always entertaining and informative; better than any tv show that I watch! Keep up the great work!
Ha! Dang it. Now you have to wait until Sundays! At least we're still making vids. Trish and I have found channels, caught-up to find that the creator stopped making video. Hate that!
Loved this vlog! I lived in Santa Fe in the mid 90's and fell in love with it's beauty and spirituality and quirkiness. The time I was at La Casa Sena they did Phantom of the Opera and it brought me to tears too!! So glad to see it's still there and still wowing people. I was with a group and we were laughing at ourselves for crying but it really was that good.
Lived in Santa Fe from ‘87-‘95. A special “land of enchantment.” I’d forgotten the show tunes, but remember Canyon Rd, carolling Christmas eve in frigid weather, great food, green chile chicken, Friday night art galley hopping, Spanish guitar, wonderful students, The Indian School, Espanola, warm friendships, great dancing, .... plus liberal, cultural activism which is opposite of what I’d be involved in now. A great experience that, ironically, helped me come back home to America.
Wow! That was just GREAT!!! I can't explain it, but there are slight tears in my eyes, too, Trish, and it's only a video for me. These kids are really good. I'm so jealous - of them, lol. What an awesome time you guys had in Santa Fe, and the most perfect time to be there. The autumn trees were gorgeous. I'm just stunned!
OMG LOL Just had the same Dometic experience last Friday evening while staying at Wind Creek State Park in Alabama. It was NINETEEN degrees and I could not figure out stop the A/C unit from blowing. I texted our sales rep who explained the Low, High, Auto fan idiosyncrasy. However, we'd only had our camper for one day, not 1 1/2 years! LOL again!
Lol. In our defense. We've only needed our furnace a handful of times. However, as I type this, it's about 5 degrees outside and we're glad we figured it out.
Fabulous video! Informative with a healthy dose of humor. Looks like Carson is coming into his own and I think that is wonderful. In fact, the way you get all your family members involved is very cool. Looking forward to next week's episode.
My wife and I would go to Casa Sena for dinner a lot for the great entertainment, now this was back in the early 80s, when ever we went to visit my parents who live in Santa Fe. She passed away in 1992, now my daughter and I go there to remember her Mom. It is a wonderful place and yes stretch out your dinner!
Hello from the Nation's Oldest City!! St. Augustine is about more than Matthew! Yikes, sorry you were here then! It's a great place and hope you come back! My hubby and I discovered the Dometic trick on our trip from here to McCall, ID and boy was it good to be warm! Thanks for all your fun adventures!
Thank you for this video, at least we enjoyed "your" Santa Fe visit. We tried to follow in your footsteps on this one, and it all went sideways so bad that it was too funny not to share. Due to Covid the Balloon Fiesta was canceled, the Ojo Caliente Spa had a fire and was closed, Covid numbers rose during our stay, and the La Casa Sena was closed and our reservation canceled, as were the national parks. A freak cold front moved in gracing us with 3 inches of snow, 40+ mile an hour winds, and the temps were 5 degrees with the wind chill - OMG. We are thankful for our 4 season rig, but it was challenging. Keep doing what you do - you are amazing! Judy
Very good, loved it. OK, long long ago Carson was so quite and reserved. Now he is active and engaging. Yamamoto said ( I fear we have awoken a sleeping Lion) Carson is awake!!!! Keep up the food reviews Carson. Keep the rubber on the road.
Santa Fe was amazing. One of the things that endears me to you guys is I enjoy the same things you guys enjoy. You are so relatable. I loved the little cafe with the live music. Those kids are really talented. Thank you again, Paul
Our white F150 is named the White Knight because it saved us by providing a tow vehicle when our old truck bit the dust. It has a 5.4 liter engine and has air bags to help pull our Keystone Cougar 30rli Xlite. Our first 29 foot trailer was called “little bit of heaven”. Still trying to name the new one.
Santa Fe is an amazing little place. It's where the desert meets the Rocky Mountains. Oldest capital in the nation and sits at an elevation higher than Denver. When I'm in Santa Fe I feel connected to a different time. Great place.
This makes me both happy and sad. My family has been in Santa Fe (and Taos) for decades. We're a humble folk. But lately New Mexico has garnered tons of media attention and more tourism than ever before. Our culture and way of life is now a show for tourists on vacations. Prices on everything from homes to food are increasing. Population is booming. I miss my old Santa Fe...
Looks like a great little town. Definitely have to add it to the list of places to visit. And the last restaurant, very cool! Thanks for another great video (a top 10)!
I'm so grateful that ya'll are exploring the Southwest. Before your videos I was sure this was an area I wouldn't be all that interested in, but you said "food city" and now I'm ready to pack up the rig and go. Can't wait to see what else is in store
Nice. I think the Southwest is equally as interesting as other parts of the country, but much different. It's beautiful in a totally different way. Wait until you see Moab!
Great video! I am only planning one long trip from the East coast to Banff before I become worm chow, but this makes me think I need to head South from Banff before returning home. Maybe even include the Albuquerque balloon festival.
We love Santa Fe!! Thanks for the tip on the dinner show!! It will be on our must-do list for the next visit! We usually stay at Rancho de Santa Fe campground. Also great breakfast burritos and awesome coffeecakes at Harry's! 😊
Lol!, Great fun back in the day. My first visit to Ojo cost $5. Now a minimum of $30.00. FYI it is an hours drive away from Santa Fe. An awesome place, as always...
Once again KYD, Bravo! Santa Fe is one of the most beautiful cities in North America, and you guys captured the true essence of this marvelous S/W destination flawlessly. P.S. your editing skills, and sequencing have come Light Years from two years ago. I truly enjoy seeing new content from KYD, and want to pass on a Very Merry Christmas to the entire family. Looking forward to new spots this “season”. C-Ya!,,,,, Peace!
It's nice to see the evolution of your editing style, good job! I really appreciate you guys for documenting your journeys. I live vicariously through you right now. I won't be going full time until April 2018. Much excitement! You guys are awesome! Hope to make it to a meet up sometime.
I'm so glad your channel was recommended on my feed! I've been to Santa Fe many times and I love it; would love to visit again soon. Thank you for the great new spots to visit. Beautiful family.
Wow great place to visit..thank you both for that as usual...man it seemed like a eternity since we last seen a video lol... It was like a season finale and then we have to wait to see you all lol ..we we're jonesing for more of keep your daydream lol.. Anyway can't wait to see you soon...
Just catching up on some of your past videos. This was great! I've got to chime in though on the oldest city in the US. The oldest city in the US is Pensacola, Florida settled in 1559 by the Spanish. St. Augustine was settled in 1561. OK, so they like to refer to "permanent settlement" since Pensacola was attacked by the local Native Americans and wiped out and St. Augustine was settled while Pensacola was being re-settled. It's an ongoing family feud between the two cities. Ask the locals about it on your next trip through either city. As far as Santa Fe being 3rd oldest city --- maybe so, just not sure. I did see where it was settled in 1607. Just my 2 cents. Enjoy all your videos. Don from Florida
Hi Trisch, I was wondering what boots your wearing at the beginning of the video, my wife was liking them and I wanted to surprise her with a pair! safe travels Love the wright's and thanks for sharing everything with us
You pulled off an out fit for date nigh on the road!?!? Seriously I feed fortunate if I have matching socks! Love your channel and its prompted us to get our first 5th wheel and plan a road trip for spring. Being military complicates our plan but we're hitting the Tetons tour y'all did and can't wait! Thanks so much for all the inspiration to follow our dreams and information to not regret it! Blessings
We love ojo caliente! Not sure if you knew this but they have a RV park there right on site! We drive down from Colorado three times a year to camp and soak.
Last time there, I spent a week in Santa Fe and it wasn't long enough. Try to plan on more time there next time you are near! Tour some of the reservations. They are such a wealth of information!! Thanks for this video ... even if I'm four years behind on this one! LOL OH ... and I haven't seen any signs of any TH-camrs aiming to cover the upcoming Albuquerque Balloon Festival 2021! Any tips for that? THANKS!!!
Been to Santa Fe many times, but seeing it through your eyes has given me a renewed perspective. Carson has certainly lost his shyness in front of the camera. Hopefully we will be seeing more of his insightful reviews and brilliant commentary. Good to see the boys giving you some editing tips. Gosh knows your channel could use a little pizzazz and poo pourri. hehe:) Another excellent video. You guys create and share some great content!
i love your video. Heading to Santa Fe this weekend for work and taking two days all for my self. I love the food and maybe I might just pamper myself at Ojo Caliente, a great idea. Thank you
We’ve only ever passed through Santa Fe on the way to Taos. After watching this, we may have to give Santa Fe a try. Mud bath with Trish? Carson finally speaks? Oh, yeah! Happy Trails
Hey thanks for all the tips about Santa Fe. I am moving to Albuquerque in June so will definitely get up there and check out all that fun stuff. Amazing how much culture is available there. Thanks for sharing. You definitely motivate me to get out even more.
as you go through some of these small towns, stop by some of the antiques stores, and also the thirft stores, i have found local stuff that you won't find elsewhere....
I am cracking up about the Thermostat. I have heard the same thing from so many RVer's over the last 10 years. This is something that should be covered when you do the PDI inspection before delivery from the dealer. The fan does not have anything to do with the Furnace and should be in auto or off mode unless you have a heat pump on your rig. Great Video makes me want to head to Santa Fe. Happy Trails
That was a lot of fun, as usual. Carson's food review was funny, he looked like whatever he was chewing tasted so bad he wanted to spit it out but couldn't on video :-) It's videos like this that makes me wonder why when my mom and step dad went south for the winter they only went to quartzite and no further, boy they missed out on so much. The spa looked wonderful. Happy travels.
OMG! We had the same issue with the heat/air! We just picked up our trailer on Friday...and I said hey..it must be broken! The tech guy said "no...you're doing it wrong!" Lol!!!
Santa Fe certainly doesn’t disappoint! I think of all the states in America that I have visited New Mexico is one of my very favourites. The colours, the serenity, the jewellery, food, vistas......you just can’t beat it. Loved the vlog! Look forward to more NM.

I cry too Trish! Even when watching The Voice. Something about music. Both singing and instrumental, just hits that part of my soul. ❤️
You guys are so fun to watch. Thank you. Gracias.
Using her singing Desperado as a voice over at the end of the video as you were driving was so moving and wonderful!
One of the absolute BEST YOU TUBE VIDEO of the thousands I've watched. THANK YOU so much for sharing the footage of the dinner theater. I may just drive over for dinner one night. AWESOME!!!

Never tire of watching you two, thanks again for sharing.
I LOVE Santa Fe. Lived there for four years when I was a kid. Great town.
And with this video, I have just finished watching all your videos in the last 2 weeks. Your family is awesome. Thank you for deciding to RV full time and share it all with us. Your videos are always entertaining and informative; better than any tv show that I watch! Keep up the great work!

Best part of the video - Carson's Food Review! 😊 CFR needs to become a regular segment of the channel.
Wow! That was just GREAT!!! I can't explain it, but there are slight tears in my eyes, too, Trish, and it's only a video for me. These kids are really good. I'm so jealous - of them, lol. Tric is beautiful and Carson’s food review was a highlight!

I am glad you enjoyed Santa Fe so much. It is truly very unique even now during these crazy times. We are blessed to live here
Thank you. I love Santa Fe, I grew up about 35 miles north of there in Los Alamos. Beautiful country.
Fabulous video! Informative with a healthy dose of humor. Looks like Carson is coming into his own and I think that is wonderful. In fact, the way you get all your family members involved is very cool. Looking forward to next week's episode.
Love the video. Santa Fe is an amazing town. So much to see, do, and relax. Love the Plaza. Loretto Chapel is beautiful to see.
Creating a list on where to go grows and grows! An informative piece with some excellent ideas on what to do in Santa Fe. Thank you
I’m just like Trish, 😭😭😭 when I listen to music at places like that. The music just moves your spirit and it comes out as tears!!! Awesome video!!!!
Thank you, you guys are the best.
Thanks, I lived their 4 years brought back many good memories.
As a native Santa Fean I thought your video was soooo much fun to watch. Beautiful family!
Lol.
Marc...you are really getting better every video you produce...salute truly joy your travels with your family.
Great video episode with the music!! Thanks Marc & Trisha! Nice!
Santa Fe was amazing. One of the things that endears me to you guys is I enjoy the same things you guys enjoy. You are so relatable. I loved the little cafe with the live music. Those kids are really talented. Thank you again, Paul
Thanks Paul, I sent you an email a few days ago. Sometimes emails go to spam. Just a heads-up.
Higher than Denver. I had no idea. Good info!
That’s pretty much every cool place now. With internet there’s no “hidden gems” lol. I live in Nashville and it’s become touristy too
A restaurant with Broadway music! I’m on it! ❤️
Very well done as always! And Carson, great job on the food review! We need more of those. Your a natural just like your dad. Awesome job!! :)
Agreed! We need more Carson food reviews. Something tells me you're just warming up for a very popular segment.
Miss Trish how do you stay in an RV and come out looking so spectacular each time? Your husband is one lucky dude.
I’m learning so much from ur family. You guys are awesome 😎 I love ❤️ everything about the videos 🤩🥳🙏
That was the best it’s on my list thank you
What a beautiful town!
Looks like a great little town. Definitely have to add it to the list of places to visit. And the last restaurant, very cool! Thanks for another great video (a top 10)!
So good, you made us miss our time in Santa Fe ...... heading back soon. Happy New Years guys.
I loved it! I was born and raised in Farmington NM. So thank you.
I'm so grateful that ya'll are exploring the Southwest. Before your videos I was sure this was an area I wouldn't be all that interested in, but you said "food city" and now I'm ready to pack up the rig and go. Can't wait to see what else is in store

We usually stay at Rancho de Santa Fe campground. Also great breakfast burritos and awesome coffeecakes at Harry's! 😊
SFis a magical place. The Loretta Chapel is amazing. Such history there, we always loved it.
Loretto
Cool video, cool town. Thanks for taking us along, even on date night! Carsons food review has potential :-) Safe travels y'all.
Lol!, Great fun back in the day. My first visit to Ojo cost $5. Now a minimum of $30.00. FYI it is an hours drive away from Santa Fe. An awesome place, as always...
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you both and your family.
Love your videos
Once again KYD, Bravo! Santa Fe is one of the most beautiful cities in North America, and you guys captured the true essence of this marvelous S/W destination flawlessly. Very nice comment. Thank you. Merry Christmas also. Take care!
Love the food review with Carson's, he is on his way to being a movie star.
Carson is with me now. He says hello!
We pick our grand design up in May, we have a huge 6 week trip planned with reservations made. You all are an inspiration.
Nice one, guys. Julian says, 'give Caleb & Carson his regards!' Love to all!
Thanks Cathy!
Fantastic!

The new "Carson's Food Review" segment ... wonderful, looking forward to more in the future.
Great episode guys! Gave us some good ideas for this next summer.
You guys are a fun way to end my weekend. Looks like great fun!

Awesome experience you guys that was great. We went there in 95 and Taos too it's beautiful
Wow great place to visit..thank you both for that as usual...man it seemed like a eternity since we last seen a video lol...
It was like a season finale and then we have to wait to see you all lol ..we we're jonesing for more of keep your daydream lol.. Anyway can't wait to see you soon...
In Spanish, “ojo de agua” means “water spring,” so “ojo caliente” is just that: “hot water spring.” Love New Mexico!
Just catching up on some of your past videos. This was great! I've got to chime in though on the oldest city in the US. The oldest city in the US is Pensacola, Florida settled in 1559 by the Spanish. St. Augustine was settled in 1561.
So excited to see this episode...I'm dreaming of winters in New Mexico...#future full timers
Such a charming place. Especially in an Airstream!
Aww, this was great
My wife and I just started full time in our Montana 3160rl fifth wheel , it’s just right for us , I take it with kids you guys will get a toy hauler
Our first choice is the Grand Design 351. We'll see what happens in the spring.
Love your videos, finally got caught up and enjoyed them. Thank you and keep it up.
You guys this looks like an awesome trip. Soooo romantic.
Alyssa was amazing. I work in Austin, TX Best wished to her in Houston! I could listen to her for a long time. Thanks for sharing your adventures!
Blessings
Lol. You can take advantage of all the military bases for RV parks!
We love ojo caliente! Not sure if you knew this but they have a RV park there right on site! We drive down from Colorado three times a year to camp and soak.
Didn't know that! Thanks.
Good idea. It's even better that we have no place to put it, so it will just be looking! :)
Carsons food review is a must!
Beautiful guys another great video looks like a very nice place to visit ,have fun and be safe.
Amazing.
