I do not know what people are getting so jealous. His voice register is similar to that of plants. He cant change that. But i do not care. I am happy that this type of music is getting attention. I am not from the lz generation. But i have always wondered how would it be to attend a concert like they had in 70s. Now it is not a problem anymore.
I don't really think people are jealous that he has a similar vocal range as Robert Plant's. I think it's the fact that they sound so similar to Led Zeppelin that it doesn't really come off as original.
Qoini Official I mean it's 2018 it's not like we're going to go back to the 70s just because some kid sounds exactly like Robert Plant that people get so much attention to
If people want to accuse these guys of ripping off Zeppelin, including Robert Plant himself, people need to remember that it was Janis Joplin who sang in this style first. Janis Joplin was almost 7 years before Zeppelin even made their first album. A lot of people accused not only Robert Plant, but his entire band from ripping off Janis Joplin. Anyone who says that Robert Plant didn't take Janis Joplin's singing style is fooling themselves. Janis was the first. Listen to any of her bands early stuff before Zeppelins first album in 68, not just her singing. From Joplin's first album in 62 to her last album, you can hear where Zeppelin got their style from, Janis Joplin and her entire band.
I still dont like them. Their sound is sloppy and they sound like a high school band. Lead vocalist has range, no denying that, but I'm just not a fan. That was my whole point. I have no doubt Janis was first, but Robert Plant didn't sound like Janis, just influenced by her. This kid is a total RIP off of Plant. Mic drop...
Me too, Danielle! Something in this video's simplicity lets their musicianship and love of the music shine thru. This setting is so cool, almost like a church basement or something!

I agree. It's their Whole Lotta Love.

Now this is what Music has been missing!!! Real Music, Real singing and a real band!!!! This is AWESOME!!!

Sexy leather boots would be nice
In love with this song!
No lo puedo crreee!!! Son muy buenos!!
That and look at how he's holding the mic and gesturing with his hands and body. He's copying Plant during his concerts.
Stock LT1 Give them a break. They sound fantastic. Let them develop their own style.
Qoini Official I mean it's 2018 it's not like we're going to go back to the 70s just because some kid sounds exactly like Robert Plant that people get so much attention to
Stock LT1 yeah and people give him credit just for copying somebody, not talking shit but isnt that kind of a poser
Rock and roll will never die . Thank you god . !!!!! Keep on rocking in the free world baby !!!!
These dudes kill it!
I look forward to THE FUTURE
ROCK AND ROLL WILL NEVER DIE 🤟🏻🤟🏻
Exellent performance. Perfect voice.👏👏👏
Drummer is putting in work x
Where exactly? Everything I saw was pretty straight forward. Check out Gavin Harrison if you want to see a drummer "putting in work"
Great vocals! Unique
This band has such great things going on. I’ve seen them live twice & they are awesome!❤️🤘❤️
Wow they sound really good live
These young men are representing the old school music with such dignity!
Just discovered this band, they rock!
so exited to see you guys next year at lollapalooza chile 2019
That opening note is like the son of Plant, actually gave me goosebumps. Rock on Greta
For me this is something like that, at least surreal, in the best sense of the word !! Wonderful !!
If they played this song right in front of me like that, I’d be jumping all over the place
Me too!!!
right?
Just when you thought rock N roll was dead 🪦… Greta Van Fleet shows up 🧨💣🧨
So fine,so nice, so brilliant!
Amazing 👏
If people want to accuse these guys of ripping off Zeppelin, including Robert Plant himself, people need to remember that it was Janis Joplin who sang in this style first. Janis Joplin was almost 7 years before Zeppelin even made their first album. A lot of people accused not only Robert Plant, but his entire band from ripping off Janis Joplin.
Anyone who says that Robert Plant didn't take Janis Joplin's singing style is fooling themselves. Janis was the first. Listen to any of her bands early stuff before Zeppelins first album in 68, not just her singing. From Joplin's first album in 62 to her last album, you can hear where Zeppelin got their style from, Janis Joplin and her entire band.
this comment needs more recognition
Joplin could screach alright. Plant and this guy took her style, but they're singers, not wailers.
And David Coverdale of Whitesnake has admitted to modeling his singing style after Plant as well.
Dude - nothing you say will justify the fact they sound like Zep. End of the story
Mic drop...
great music man! bring back rock&roll
I’ve heard mixed emotions from older folks. GRETA VAN FLEET is BANGIN! Keep going and going!
the kids are gonna be alright.
jimmy brown I hope so!

I will never get sick of this video, my favorite live performance by them
Me too, Danielle! Something in this video's simplicity lets their musicianship and love of the music shine thru. This setting is so cool, almost like a church basement or something!
awesome band!
Well there ye go, music is not dead, this band is real musical talent
My very favorite!! This song has me addicted! Guitar is incredible!
Fantastic love it💞
