    Really good, I love the tail movement~! I animated the Truong dragon and my teacher's corrections made me want to pull out my hair, because it looked right to me, but not to him.

      Yeah, as we grow as animators we need to develop our eyes more and more by watching real animals or people or things move. When I was starting I felt the same way but once I started understanding how movement works I understood what people were telling me :)

    It's so annoying how short the animation is but otherwise great work!

    good stuff man-- IMO, not sure your addiction to DOTA or League, you may need to drop the game until you get your career going.
    I made a promise to myself to not play LoL until I got a job in the game industry. I've now been at a studio for 5 years, and just playing the game again during covid.... it ruins my life. It's so much easier to just... play that game, and then not work, than it is to play anything else. Something weird goes on in my brain when I play those low-effort hi-reward games. It makes me crazy lazy, and then leads to anxiety and depression.
    long-story-short, I like what you have here. I'm almost a senior animator at my studio, and... I wish you the best.

      Thanks for enjoying the video and leaving a comment MrTai! This video is 8 years old, I've come a long way since then :p I have my own game studio and I've animated for a bunch of games and directed a couple of games already hahahah, check out DeMagnete. Nonetheless Dota has never left me and I still play that damn game with my friends almost every day after work. At this point I don't know if I'll ever stop :'( I need help hahahahah

      @@adgd Ah-- that's definitely the better scenario, playing with friends. I... made the mistake of solo-queing.
      I think Lol might just be terrible for me-- I get obsessed with it. Started playing it again recently, and... I regret it....
      But yeah, congrats on " DeMagnete". Any indie project I worked on before my studio job never took off (we needed a producer, someone to scope out the project). Did you direct most of the games you worked on?

    • @adgd
      @adgd  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ChimiMyChanga73 No, I've worked in more games than I've directed. I've directed 2 games, Holodrive and DeMagnete and we've just started our 3rd project :)

    Well, good work. But you've wasted too much time to did this. Why? It is far from easy, I know, but a whole week? Is it your first animation?

    • @adgd
      @adgd  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not my first animation but I was in class, learning from my teacher so it took a while because I'd work on it daily and get feedback on it on the next class. Look at the date when this video was posted (9 years ago), I was but a wee lad. ;)

    what do the passes mean

    • @adgd
      @adgd  ปีที่แล้ว

      Each pass means I did a bit more work to make the animation better. For instance when you add more in-betweens it's a pass or when you do your first graph editor tweak that's a pass. At least it's how I work.
