Your whole 10 bit argument is weak. A MacBook Air M1 costs $650 U.S.D. new, and used you can get them for the same price as the Ace Pro 2. It will color grade and run 8k footage. DJI provides a free LUT. Mac's come with free iMovie, drop the LUT on the footage, no "color grading" needed, and the footage looks 10 times better than a process'ed 8 bit HDR video. Doesn't require loads of money, time, or skill. I don't think you can compare these two cameras if you are not taking into account their full potential. Plus instead of showing people how to get the most out of their camera and how simple it is, you are instead facilitating a lazy approach to using these cameras. Anyone who is going to take the time to watch a video about them wants to know their full potential.
These are cameras to allow u enjoy the activity rather than filming I am sure you can edit on whatever you want But I am sure that 90% of users won't post process And from 10% who will post process, 90% will be shooting in full auto So my arguments are mine and I respect yours. We might not have the same approach. But that's all fine and interesting

@Fishycomics mentioned the C-type door was loose. It opens when you push it without pressing the button. The same thing happened on my dji 5. Do you also have such a problem? I wanted to ask if it could be a chronic problem.
dji has the tracking feature, so it has the recognition system. if they added this face exposure, they will lower down the battery runtime, and all their marketing plan was about the battery or let us say a big part of the marketing campaign the lost when they added high bitrate they can't add face priority now to be inferior on the battery level but they can add it later on once all of this hot topic will be behind us to show their clients hey we are listening to you and to prepare the market for action 6 pro
Great work Rabih! I agree on every single point you made. It is very much a personal choice. I lean toward the DJI's less saturated look, especially in D-Log M for faces. I also wouldn't mind color grading the D-Log M. However, I do know from shooting in D-Log M without face priority on the Pocket 3, there is a tendency to underexpose the face which is annoying and can't really be fixed in post. I like the fact that it can attach my DJI Mic 2's without plugging anything in and it sounds good. However, the built-in Mic on the Ace Pro 2 sounds better than any built-in mic on any camera I've ever used. I can barely tell there is noise reduction going on in Voice Enhancement mode. Honestly, I probably wouldn't use either as my primary camera for Vlogs. I would use my Pocket 3 in dry weather and the Pixel 8 Pro when there is a rain potential. What I would use them for is any time I go anywhere near water. This includes if I go to the beach, snorkeling, kayaking, boating, etc. and maybe also if I'm in an actual "action" environment like theme park rides or something. NONE of these scenarios would I want an external mic clipped on me. In fact, at the beach, I probably won't have a shirt on. I want to be able to carry a single action cam and leave my cellphone in my beach bag away from the sun and sand. Insta360 was smart when they put a lot of effort into the audio, and I believe it is the deciding factor for me. But I am still considering getting the DJI for comparison for my channel. I may also try turning down the saturation on the Ace Pro 2 in post and I really need to experiment with turning HD off and the EV down. I don't think it will be the one going back because I also like having something from the Insta ecosystem so I am familiar with it as well as DJI's. By the way, I tested the shutter button I mentioned and it was a user error. I just had to get used to the right amount of force and timing to get it to work properly.
Great test👍, im still waiting for my Ace Pro 2. These are the 2 best cameras on the market. But I'm still leaning a little more towards the Dji Action 5 pro. But to be honest with my viewers, whether they have Action 4 or Ace Pro. Then they probably don't need to upgrade to A2 or OA5.
New action 5 pro firmware update on my friends has made a massive difference, makes it harder to choose now between the 2! The android app situation is abit of a put off only having mimo direct app from dji
I have the action 5 pro and I love it and the way it integrates seamlessly with my Pocket 3. But I will probably buy an ace pro 2 as well. Both great. Both advantages and disadvantages. Great review!!!!
Thanks for the full review of these cameras. I ordered the Insta and returned my OA5. I have the Rode wireless Go 2, and I ordered the Insta mic adapter for it. as I was unsure how the USBC connection will work exactly... Do you know if you need a special USBC cable for that or if any USBC cable will work? Using the Insta mic adapter I'm sure it will work, so I chose to buy that. But I'm curious about if the USBC audio connection will work well for me too, in terms of the kind of cable needed. I know there's a 30CM Rode cable for phones, but that's way to long. Ideally I'd use a super short USBC cable if possible.
Thx for the comment. I tried it with the USB c of dji mic 2, with hollyland lark m2, godox xt1, some saramonic mics... USB cable I use the one I have from hollyland so tiny and short perfect for me
Ace pro 2 still has a focus issue, they haven't fixed it. sometimes you need closer focus to take clips underwater for some reeks for example A5pro has many positive things but you mentioned very few of them, you focus more on Ace Pro 2 pros
I keep seeing and hearing people mention a focusing issue with the Ace Pro 1 🤷🏽♂️. I had mine since launch and I have never encountered that issue, and I use the camera for professional and personal use in many different situations. I guess I might be half blind 🥹😊

Crazy how better that AP2 looks thats put me in occurred position now as went to buy action 5 pro today when seen the stores stocking the AP2 today so come home to do some research into them both first.
Thanks for the great video. A question regarding minute 20:15....when you pause the video, you can clearly see the ceiling with the oa5 whereas the same ceiling with the ace pro 2 looks soft, unsharp and you dont see the same ceiling details. Can you explain?
That is strange. I have watched also on my larger monitor. In the ceiling you can clearly see all these squares with the oa5. However the same squares in the ceiling are very soft with the ace pro 2. Watching the video in 4k youtube@@photorabz
Hard to tell. You have reflections from the light on the fabric kind of ceiling...you can't base on that to chose kz the best camera in these conditions is your bare eye
Same. 6 days after I bought it last week (4 business days passed), my Insta360 Ace Pro 2 hasn't shipped yet! Leeched $420 off my account (95% of my bank account at the time) and heard nothing beyond the Order confirmation email! Literally, I'll have at least 3 days of my life where my safety is compromised because my current DJI Action 3 is inadequate at night! 🤬🤬 If I had to, should've bought from BestBuy and would be able to pick it up the next day no issue!
I appreciate that you put the names of the cams, even if you didn't put them to play the guessing game I would have understood who the ace pro 2 was as it has more saturated colors and less noise than the action cam, nice video, I consider the ace pro 2 the best currently on the market

hello, I'm looking to buy a motorcycle camera, not necessarily for vlogs but for images and videos, it will be my first, so I'm not good at editing, so which one do you think would be more suitable? from what I understand, the Insta application is more friendly with editing.
The reason I'm tilting towards the Insta360 is the fact that you can connect it with intercoms (like the Cardo I already own) whereas with the DJIs you need to buy their (very good - yet expensive) mics.
@@mralex9281 No, it's really not. I've seen multiple tests and actual footage from even hard enduro events (Graham Jarvis and Billy Bolt recently uploaded a race event shot on the Insta360 and the footage looks fantastic). The DJI suffers also from jittering (not a lot but it's much worse than the Insta360) when it comes to shaky footage (like when running). It also creates annoying cone-shaped flares when bright lights enter the footage in night-time/low light conditions. That's from tests around the internet.
I'd go with ace pro 2 ( no mic needed, big screenz great low light) so that will be awesome to vlog If I can spend a bit more I'd go with pocket3 if I dnt want to vlog or use it in humid weather
I ordered an AP2 - I had the AP1 I was reasonably happy with it did have a few issues with it like over blue the blues and sharpness on cloudy days , but with my disability having a larger touch screen is a must (I have it mounted on my wheelchair.) From what I can see from all the reviews the colours are better on AP2 than AP1 which I'm excited for.
Two wireless mic isn't smthg I care about tbh Last year we were happy with one, next year with three hehehehe But maybe 10bit should be as an option but again for me I dnt need it
They said Most users will use 8bit because most TH-cam uploads are in 8bit And most monitors are 8bit You might say then why 8K Why they enabled 8k to allow the clarity zoom And not the 10bit to allow log They said people want to zoom in their video thing that you can't do (besides digital cropping) on other cameras while 8bit is still used more than 10bit on these cams I made many videos to explain why I prefer 8bit with sample footages as well Would love to see your opinion Abt them Btw I'm shooting also my TH-cam videos in my studio in 8bit just to reduce the stress on my computer and making the whole process faster (avoiding overheating in a closed space while running for a long time, reduce file transfer time, reduce disk storage, accelerate export process) Because I dnt do Netflix serie here hehe
@@photorabz good points, 8k is an interesting topic, not many people have an 8k monitor and this leads to the same challenges with editing and stresses on resources as you say with 10 bit. As an action camera would I be using 8K ? The clarity zoom I would use in a more non action environment. To be honest for 8k I’d use my Fuji XH2
Exactly. That's what I said. I won't use 8k, but clarity zoom is available if the sensor can use the full pixel nbrs and not the pixel binning leading to 4k. But I'm so sure almost no one is using 8k except for some tests. I think it would be clearer if the hide that 8k option, and allow the clarity zoom based on 8k without showing the 8k hehe I dnt know if I'm clear hehehe
Yes it works. Is it good...personally I dnt like these cams as webcams. I prefer a dedicated webcam for autofocus for tracking..check link2 and link2c from insta360
Hi, first of all thank you for the information. My question is I’m going to be doing interviews to save for my kids my great grandkids and so forth of my father and his sister my father is 95. My aunt his sister is 98. Would it be good to do these interviews for Legacy purpose in 8K with the Ace Pro 2?
Even though I went to the Ace Pro 2 a week ago, I cannot help but feel that this review is SUPER BIASED. I'm on the 26 minute and besides the internal storage I didn't hear ONE GOOD THING about Dji Action 5. Every single benefit was either dismissed or underplayed. Again I really think overall Ace Pro 2 is better this year than Action 5 but there are really a lot of tradeoffs between the two. The size and weight are big deal with action cameras, the lack of front screen also (nobody likes to flip that shit and make the camera twice in height), the lack of natuve Bluetooth codec for DJI mic's and objectively better firmware updates (I'm still waiting for AEB update 7 months later for my Insta360 X4). 10 Bit is not about only color matching different cameras, but objectively capturing more dynamic range, and it's obvious benefit that there is such an option, even if you don't use it ever! So yea, this is probably the most biased review of these cameras I've ever seen,
even the upgraded battery life he made it seem that both are equal, also on the microphone. they sound the same just lower volume on the action 5, and he emphasized Ace Pro 2 is "better" lol He didnt even mention the bloom and heavily softened image on the ace pro 2 in evening/low light, to me its unusable because its really soft, would 100% take the trumpet flares compared to softness and bloom and the flip up screen is definitely a point of failure and an expensive replacement when it happens
@@jasper5945 Yea, he may be a good videographer, but so far from what I saw he's a terrible reviewer. Too much bias. If this is "not sponsored" I just imagine how much praise he would give to Insta if it was sponsored. LOL That's why I never trust reviewers that receive tech for free. 99.9% they praise the tech received for free, it's just human psychology trap. Here is no different. Subconciously he praise the Insta360 because he wants 360 to continue sending him things for free, while he purchased Action 5 pro with his own money (at least that's what he told us) It's very unfair to DJI , even though I choose Ace Pro 2 for my needs.
Hello there . Thanks for the comment. First of all it is not a review, it is a comparison, I pointed out the differences 8 and 10bit Log Color profile Size price Bluetooth and built in audio Internal storage Low light Clarity zoom And obviously this video comes after the release of ace pro 2 and after I made many videos on oa5 pro as well as the full review on it I highly recommend you watch the previous videos btw And thanks alot for your comment
again i made a video about oa5 pro as a review, and a video about the battery (before firmware update) i did not made them same, but truth to be told, i did not had issues in overheating in low bitrate, but i had in high bitrate on dji and the recorded time was way lower than in low bitrate. on ace pro 2 with high bitrate i did not had overheat. of course time is less, lets say 120 min high bitrate and 8 bit on ace pro2, with dji 130 min high bitrate and 10 bit but overheat...maybe this is why there is no 10 bit on ace pro2 ? concerning the bloom and heavily softened image you mentionned, there is a section about focus i hope you watched. if you have concerns about it let me know. on dji you have less details in the grass and clouds as well, you have halos around buildings and trees, ... i did not mention those neither flip up screen is rugged, there is a guy on youtube who tried to break it btw i highly recommend you watch that video @mountmediachannel
i am not praising anyone, whether you believe or not, i would have loved if both companies sent me money instead of cameras, so i can buy on amazon and return back and so on would be great in this life if we like pasta restaurant, the pizza place will say you are sponsored by the pasta i said it clearly i liked them both, and dji sent me lots of stuff more than 200 euros of free gifts as well (during the last week or so) i always said you cant count on sponsored videos to chose wich product is more interesting, and thats why I DID NOT MADE A REVIEW ON THIS CAMERA because if i make a review people will say oh you are only talking about ace pro 2 , and thats why i am showing ALWAYS dji and insta360 side by side, or ap2 and ap1 and yes I LIKE the ace pro 2 more for many reasons that fit in my workflow bigger screen for vlogs sometimes having a mic on your shirt is not possible (beach, or whatever) so the built in mic helps. you might say the audio on dji is lower, try to increase it, you will increase the noise, (i mean without any noise cancelling on your software because we all know we can get crisp audio these days with almost anything) so this feature is important because there are moments i film on the go and i try to post quickly (check the video comparing these 2 cameras that i posted few days ago, i used the op3 for the talking head shots, because i wanted the ap2 and a5pro to be in my hands) but now with ap2 i can record small talking head shots, and some footage and make a quick montage and post them and that is how most users will do with such cameras (no post processing needed) FACE PRIORITY exposure is the ultimate reason for me because i will use it to vlog mainly anyway thanks for the comment and for your time. i hope i was clear in my comment since you did not find that clear in the video and do not hesitate if you have any other questions
Thx for the comment. I'm not defending this or that But why you like dji more? And what do you think about this video? Is it clear? Is it missleading? Is it on a good pace?...

Happy to read your input. We shld absolutely get in touch man hit me on instagram
Great job as usual!!
Thank you
I would like to see the comparision of both cameras in webcam mode… nobody tested that yet… thats my primary usage of cam that I will buy
Stay tuned in the upcoming live ;)
Great test👍, im still waiting for my Ace Pro 2. These are the 2 best cameras on the market. But I'm still leaning a little more towards the Dji Action 5 pro. But to be honest with my viewers, whether they have Action 4 or Ace Pro. Then they probably don't need to upgrade to A2 or OA5.
Yes
I totally agree
New action 5 pro firmware update on my friends has made a massive difference, makes it harder to choose now between the 2! The android app situation is abit of a put off only having mimo direct app from dji
I made videos for the new firmware
I have the action 5 pro and I love it and the way it integrates seamlessly with my Pocket 3. But I will probably buy an ace pro 2 as well. Both great. Both advantages and disadvantages.
Great review!!!!
Thanks alot
USB cable I use the one I have from hollyland so tiny and short perfect for me
Ace pro 2 still has a focus issue, they haven't fixed it. sometimes you need closer focus to take clips underwater for some reeks for example
A5pro has many positive things but you mentioned very few of them, you focus more on Ace Pro 2 pros
I talked about the differences.
There are lots of videos videos for a5pro on my channel
I keep seeing and hearing people mention a focusing issue with the Ace Pro 1 🤷🏽♂️. I had mine since launch and I have never encountered that issue, and I use the camera for professional and personal use in many different situations. I guess I might be half blind 🥹😊
@@mstuartkendall ace pro 2 have a real issue on their lens, they stop production because of that, there are many customers complaining about the shipping delay.
But insta360 won't be honest with their clients everything they give an excuse.
They clearly have a hardware issue
Why you say that?
Fuji x100vi had lots of delays... And still delayed
Is there a hardware problem there no?
So you gotta trust me, no issues just a stock issue
@@photorabzwhy are they out of stock?
This is their response to me about the out of stock issue:

You didn't mention the new mega view. How is it different from the previous ones? Also, is it true that ap2 is better in terms of distortion?
Mega is the ultra without distortion in my opinion.
More videos to come for these two cameras
I have DJI Action 4 and Ace Pro 1, I will upgrade to Ace Pro 2. Thank you for your comparison.
Thx alot. Please use my code when the camera will be restocked
What do you think of the ace pro 1 or the osmo a 5
Of course oa5 is newer new tech etc.. shld be better
Can you use the Hollyland M2 on the DJI A5 as well, with USBC Adapter or not?
Yes with USB adapter u can use hollyland with oa5 and with ap2
Nice review! Not gonna use my action camera more in post processing and color grading. I need the output on prompto. But if wanted to mix with mirrorless cameras, I might use 8k few times. So yeah, Insta360 Ace Pro 2 for me.
Thx for the comment
hi there
what if i want to start to make content in the gym and kitchen?
Would you suggest me to go with one of the two or i need a more professional camera ?
and which one would you suggest me ?
thank you
hi there. thanks for your comment
for kitchen if it is yours, use bigger cameras with lights its better you have more versatility
for gym i used once the go3s, small and the black one blends perfectly with the gym where i go. but it does not have amazing low light capabilities. i hope that go4 will come with that low light pure video mode that will be dope.
But they can be used everywhere this is the strength of these cams
@lucamarchi71 I’m problema è che all’inizio sarò timido in palaestra con una camera così grossa ahaha
Però grazie per il commento
Exactly
Crazy how better that AP2 looks thats put me in occurred position now as went to buy action 5 pro today when seen the stores stocking the AP2 today so come home to do some research into them both first.
Buy it via my link heheh
Thanks for the great video. A question regarding minute 20:15....when you pause the video, you can clearly see the ceiling with the oa5 whereas the same ceiling with the ace pro 2 looks soft, unsharp and you dont see the same ceiling details. Can you explain?
Tx for the comment. I dnt see that difference here tbh
That is strange. I have watched also on my larger monitor. In the ceiling you can clearly see all these squares with the oa5. However the same squares in the ceiling are very soft with the ace pro 2. Watching the video in 4k youtube@@photorabz
Oh I see.
Btw there were no squares these are light reflections
@@photorabz wow okay. So which camera is showing the reality in this situation at 20:15? This is important to know also for other viewers
Hard to tell. You have reflections from the light on the fabric kind of ceiling...you can't base on that to chose kz the best camera in these conditions is your bare eye
Looks like the AcePro 2 does a solid job in both daylight and low light, probably the top pick for anyone just starting ou
I agree
DJI is in stock since it was launched but insta 360 ace pro 2 is out of stock. It was available for only 5 days after launch.
Yes this is weird. But I think it's a stock problem
If I had to, should've bought from BestBuy and would be able to pick it up the next day no issue!
I dnt think best buy have it. I was surprised though
@@chaxologist2024 I ordered mine on Day 1 and received mine in 3 days. It was shipped directly from China. It must have been on the first jet here.
I want to buy one.. really
As I did with oa5 pro
I have lots of ideas to test and compare
I need a second one
For mountain biking and road cycling which one you recommend???
Actually if the weight of ace pro2 is not a problem for u then go with ap2 but both are great
@ how do you adjust the FOV of the ace pro2 when the camera is on your chest mount for mountain biking if you don’t have a front screen ????
Whether insta360 app, or if you have the gps remote preview on your wrist or on the front bar handle that will be awesome
I appreciate that you put the names of the cams, even if you didn't put them to play the guessing game I would have understood who the ace pro 2 was as it has more saturated colors and less noise than the action cam, nice video, I consider the ace pro 2 the best currently on the market
yeah it is not a blind test like the videos i posted before, by the those blind test pissed off dji fan boys and insta360 fan boys. they wanted always to like videos of their favorite cameras, but they got lots of wrong answers hahahaha
and in return i got lots of hate from both sides
I like insta360 x4 , i feel no need ace pro 2 or action 5 pro coz i have iphone
Great
I personally got a phone capable of taking great videos but I don't know I don't feel comfortable hehehe
hello, I'm looking to buy a motorcycle camera, not necessarily for vlogs but for images and videos, it will be my first, so I'm not good at editing, so which one do you think would be more suitable? from what I understand, the Insta application is more friendly with editing.
The reason I'm tilting towards the Insta360 is the fact that you can connect it with intercoms (like the Cardo I already own) whereas with the DJIs you need to buy their (very good - yet expensive) mics.
Exactly. Ace pro2 will deliver amazing job. Especially in low light or tricky city lights
@@C_R_O_M________yes, I also have a Cardo Neo, so I think it will be a good option
@@photorabzhowever, the image on the AO5 seems to be better, while on the AP2 it seems to be washed out and out of focus.
That's from tests around the internet.
if u had one camera as ur first camera ever what would you choose ?
I'd go with ace pro 2 ( no mic needed, big screenz great low light) so that will be awesome to vlog
If I can spend a bit more I'd go with pocket3 if I dnt want to vlog or use it in humid weather
Awesome 👍👍. Hope you bought it via my links?
Software update to allow two wireless mics of your choice. 10 bit should be an option, your choice is not mine.
Two wireless mic isn't smthg I care about tbh
Last year we were happy with one, next year with three hehehehe
But maybe 10bit should be as an option but again for me I dnt need it
@@photorabzI would say though that 10 bit is important to a lot of people and puzzling why insta doesn’t include it with a camera with the pro label 🤔
They said
Most users will use 8bit because most TH-cam uploads are in 8bit
And most monitors are 8bit
You might say then why 8K
Why they enabled 8k to allow the clarity zoom
And not the 10bit to allow log
They said people want to zoom in their video thing that you can't do (besides digital cropping) on other cameras while 8bit is still used more than 10bit on these cams
I made many videos to explain why I prefer 8bit with sample footages as well
Would love to see your opinion Abt them
Btw I'm shooting also my TH-cam videos in my studio in 8bit just to reduce the stress on my computer and making the whole process faster (avoiding overheating in a closed space while running for a long time, reduce file transfer time, reduce disk storage, accelerate export process)
Because I dnt do Netflix serie here hehe
@@photorabz good points, 8k is an interesting topic, not many people have an 8k monitor and this leads to the same challenges with editing and stresses on resources as you say with 10 bit. As an action camera would I be using 8K ? The clarity zoom I would use in a more non action environment. To be honest for 8k I’d use my Fuji XH2
Exactly. That's what I said. I won't use 8k, but clarity zoom is available if the sensor can use the full pixel nbrs and not the pixel binning leading to 4k. But I'm so sure almost no one is using 8k except for some tests.
I think it would be clearer if the hide that 8k option, and allow the clarity zoom based on 8k without showing the 8k hehe
I dnt know if I'm clear hehehe
BRO PLEASE TELL ME IS ACE PRO 2 GOOD WITH WEBCAM MODE , I WANT TO stream on yt , + action camera is a full package camera
Yes it works. Is it good...personally I dnt like these cams as webcams. I prefer a dedicated webcam for autofocus for tracking..check link2 and link2c from insta360
@photorabz oh ok I will note them
My code inri29s works on the link2 series as well
What do u think ace pro 1 or the a5
Oa5 better than ap1
Ap2 and oa5 both are great
8-bit is honestly enough for most stuff. I’m not big on color grading with action cams, so it works out fine.
Same here
Hi, first of all thank you for the information.
My question is I’m going to be doing interviews to save for my kids my great grandkids and so forth of my father and his sister my father is 95. My aunt his sister is 98. Would it be good to do these interviews for Legacy purpose in 8K with the Ace Pro 2?
Tbh 8k needs lots of light around .. I think stick to 4k it is better in my opinion
Thank you for your help
So the 8K is mostly daytime outdoor activities
Yes with little motion I mean not in an action activity...
So yea, this is probably the most biased review of these cameras I've ever seen,
even the upgraded battery life he made it seem that both are equal,
also on the microphone. they sound the same just lower volume on the action 5, and he emphasized Ace Pro 2 is "better" lol
He didnt even mention the bloom and heavily softened image on the ace pro 2 in evening/low light, to me its unusable because its really soft, would 100% take the trumpet flares compared to softness and bloom
and the flip up screen is definitely a point of failure and an expensive replacement when it happens
@@jasper5945 Yea, he may be a good videographer, but so far from what I saw he's a terrible reviewer. Too much bias. If this is "not sponsored" I just imagine how much praise he would give to Insta if it was sponsored. LOL
That's why I never trust reviewers that receive tech for free. 99.9% they praise the tech received for free, it's just human psychology trap. Here is no different. Subconciously he praise the Insta360 because he wants 360 to continue sending him things for free, while he purchased Action 5 pro with his own money (at least that's what he told us)
It's very unfair to DJI , even though I choose Ace Pro 2 for my needs.
Hello there . Thanks for the comment. First of all it is not a review, it is a comparison, I pointed out the differences
8 and 10bit
Log
Color profile
Size price
Bluetooth and built in audio
Internal storage
Low light
Clarity zoom
And obviously this video comes after the release of ace pro 2 and after I made many videos on oa5 pro as well as the full review on it
I highly recommend you watch the previous videos btw
And thanks alot for your comment
again i made a video about oa5 pro as a review, and a video about the battery (before firmware update)
i did not made them same, but truth to be told, i did not had issues in overheating in low bitrate, but i had in high bitrate on dji and the recorded time was way lower than in low bitrate. on ace pro 2 with high bitrate i did not had overheat. of course time is less, lets say 120 min high bitrate and 8 bit on ace pro2, with dji 130 min high bitrate and 10 bit but overheat...maybe this is why there is no 10 bit on ace pro2 ?
concerning the bloom and heavily softened image you mentionned, there is a section about focus i hope you watched. if you have concerns about it let me know. on dji you have less details in the grass and clouds as well, you have halos around buildings and trees, ... i did not mention those neither
flip up screen is rugged, there is a guy on youtube who tried to break it btw i highly recommend you watch that video @mountmediachannel
i am not praising anyone, whether you believe or not,
i would have loved if both companies sent me money instead of cameras, so i can buy on amazon and return back and so on would be great
in this life if we like pasta restaurant, the pizza place will say you are sponsored by the pasta
i said it clearly i liked them both, and dji sent me lots of stuff more than 200 euros of free gifts as well (during the last week or so)
i always said you cant count on sponsored videos to chose wich product is more interesting, and thats why I DID NOT MADE A REVIEW ON THIS CAMERA
because if i make a review people will say oh you are only talking about ace pro 2 , and thats why i am showing ALWAYS dji and insta360 side by side, or ap2 and ap1
and yes I LIKE the ace pro 2 more for many reasons that fit in my workflow
bigger screen for vlogs
sometimes having a mic on your shirt is not possible (beach, or whatever) so the built in mic helps. you might say the audio on dji is lower, try to increase it, you will increase the noise, (i mean without any noise cancelling on your software because we all know we can get crisp audio these days with almost anything)
so this feature is important because there are moments i film on the go and i try to post quickly (check the video comparing these 2 cameras that i posted few days ago, i used the op3 for the talking head shots, because i wanted the ap2 and a5pro to be in my hands) but now with ap2 i can record small talking head shots, and some footage and make a quick montage and post them and that is how most users will do with such cameras (no post processing needed)
FACE PRIORITY exposure is the ultimate reason for me because i will use it to vlog mainly
anyway thanks for the comment and for your time.
i hope i was clear in my comment since you did not find that clear in the video
and do not hesitate if you have any other questions
I'm going to... the dji osmo action 5pro and I don't like recording on Dlog because it produces a lot of noise
Thx for the comment.
I'm not defending this or that
But why you like dji more? And what do you think about this video? Is it clear? Is it missleading? Is it on a good pace?...
I will try ap2 i-log to get nice colors without "holes" by colorizing by hands, when it will arrived to me, if no luck, i will go to oa5.
Good choice. You want to buy them both ?
@@photorabz No, will sell AP2 if sht happens with colors.
@@photorabz And a strange thing happens with ap2. It begins to disappear from stores and sellers. The Insta360 store is no longer in stock. This doesn't seem normal.

Wow man you are the only one asking for dashcams... You made think Abt installing one hahaha really
Like I said, most dashcams are inferior to my already existing DJI Action 3 and I'm broke at the moment after shelling out for the AcePro 2...
So my life and safety is at the mercy of Insta360 now arriving in a timely manner or otherwise, if I am silent from next week onwards, that means something bad has happened because Insta360 failed to do their due diligence of shipping it!
I can understand. Why you feel unsafe? Where you live?
Mega View deserves a mention here. It’s something DJI and GoPro don't have, but Insta did a nice job adding that option
I agree... I showed the different fov in another video though
even with 8-bit, the Ace Pro 2’s color looks fantastic. Super natural and balanced out of the box, didn’t feel the need to mess with it in post at all
Yeah . Sometimes I think I should lower the saturation a bit
