HAHA! Nice! Spiked the ice tea! That's like me adding liquor to my soda at dinner! And just so you know, MRE info is not completely accurate. I love that website and it is *the best* single website for all things MRE, but they get some of the names and dates wrong. For example, I've had a Menu 5 Chicken with tomatoes and feta cheese as it reads on the bag, and it is from 2014, but MRE info lists it as "Mediterranean chicken". And I've had very old MRE cheese before and yes, it does darken and dries out, but just tastes much sharper. It does not go bad for being old. It turns into the consistency of like, pop tart filling. Dry and grainy and doesn't spread good, but it tastes fine. And that biscuit with butter spread is absolutely fascinating! I have never seen anything like that in an MRE before! Also, I want to give you a friendly warning about heating any MRE cheese spread, just in case you might not know for the future. Heating the cheese beyond just kneading it in your hand, like if you stuck it in the FRH, will cause the oil to separate from the cheese and the cheese will turn to rubber. I made the mistake of BOILING the cheese spread once with the main because the heater failed on me, and I had rubber in oil afterwards. I still ate it of course but it was definitely not as good. It's crazy the way that works. Must be how they make the cheese shelf stable. I've heard that the cheese on the pizza MRE doesn't melt because of that and any attempts to cook the pizza with fire and melt the cheese on it just burns it. Crazy.

Howdy Amigo. Been A while since I tried this menu. Best I remember, it was good. Previous meals, tea comes out good, cider always rancid? I do not remember 1 good cider. I liked the butter buds, back in the day. I do not remember the toffee cubes? Most cookies do turn into crumbs, agreed. Nice addition to the tea, LOL. Nice additions to brisket as well. Hey John!! This one was okay. Sides had some funky flavors but very subtle. Except for the biscuit. That was horrible 🤮 Glad to report I'm just fine today though!! Had to be the germ killer I put in the lemon iced tea 😉 I appreciate you John!!

I remember butter buds from when I was a kid. My mom got them and I remember putting them on mashed potatoes. They were good! I'll serve you ice tea. My fee is not too terrible 🤣 Thank you for being here Mulder!!
