Matches! There are no matches in the accessory pack! I forgot which MRE menu I had recently that also didn't have matches. So it seems like not all the menus have matches in them. I do find this very odd as well! I recently ate a Menu 22 from 2018 and it came with "sugar cookies, patriotic" instead of a "toaster pastry" and mine did not come with rice either. I found the main tasted too much like tomato sauce and had very little soy sauce flavor. I wish there were more vegetables in it. I got like 3 water chestnuts, but got plenty of bamboo shoots. Also, whenever I eat crackers or wheat snack bread with a spread, I don't bother dumping the whole spread out on the bread or crackers. Instead I put a bit on, then take a bite and repeat. i think that is much easier and way less messy.
EDIT: Oh! I forgot to mention that my Menu 22 came with chow mein noodles! I remembered when you said you wish it came with crackers. The noodles came in a separate pouch. I sprinkled them on top and it definitely helped with the flavor and texture. I'm surprised yours did not come with them. And yes, I would LOVE to have rice in this menu.
Yes!! No matches! I thought that was very strange. Chow mein noodles would have been really good!! And like I said in the video, why no soy sauce packet? That would have been a no brainier to put in with that meal. Still, I really enjoyed this one. Thanks again for the comment and for watching my videos! I appreciate the feedback 👍👍👍

I've never understood why they put them in there, since, they don't put cigarrettes in them anymore, but, I think the matches are missing.

A long time ago, there was a whole batch of MRE reviews (from soldiers) and one soldier always commented about the lack of cigarettes with "anger is the result" 😀

Cool meal. Like Mexican flavored rations, Asian, is not necessarily not that Asian. They do taste good however, no complaints. Solid components. Meals are good, just, names may be misleading. I hope, one armed situation, takes care of itself soon? Best wishes sir. Cranberry Grape advice, was not ignored. Much as Grape jelly to CT, LOL. Water chestnuts, give nice crunch, agreed. Flavors are good on these. Your mentions on additions to meal, is respected. Correct. Applesauce, mix looks cool. I am not posting much, due to personal health reasons. That main looks pretty darned good and not chincy on the beef. I like that it has water chesnuts. Nice crunchy texture. I've tried a case a and b, but I haven't tried the asian beef strips.
