I have a very similar setup and I just ran the first fill/drain today. The bulging of the water tank is a little sketchy though...have you found yours to be reliable? Also - what pressure are you putting into the tank? I'm trying to find out from the manufacturer what they are rated to (if they are rated). Thanks!
So I am about 2 years into this setup and while the tank bulges it has yet to fail. Used probably every other week. I haven't put a pressure gauge on it. But I just barely barely crack the ball valve to it. And my line pressure is over 160psi
@@MindofBrad wowza no pressure gauge! You're brave haha. Nice to know that it's been holding up though. Gives me some confidence. I'm running it at a very low pressure because of the bulging and it fills fairly slowly. Might transition over to an electric pump
Put a regulator on the hose you have pressurizing the tank. This will allow you to pressurize the tank without worry of bulging the sides.
It is in the plans. I just haven't yet

is this still working well?
Yep, still working great. I would highly recommend.. it also keeps the water cleaner
