    Can I join all the squares using kitchener stitch? I think it is possible

      I believe you can, but bearing in mind that there is a Kitchener stitch technique for a stockinette stitch result, for a garter stitch result, for pretty much any configuration of stitches. So you need to know on each side, which stitch will look correct; e.g., a caston edge isn’t going to look the same as a side edge. (I’m winging it here, as I’ve never actually tried it.) If I were going to do it, I’d look up how Kitchener is done for different stitch patterns and get my head around what’s really happening so I could figure out any stitch I want. It will determine if you do knit one off, purl one on, or purl one off, knit one on. Try a couple sample squares and see what works for you. Or if it just doesn’t look right.

      @@winningnumbers Great to know - I assume you mean “standard” Kitchener, no matter which edge? I have to try it. I do tend to use Kitchener even if it isn’t mentioned in a pattern. People don’t seem to realize how well it works!
