@chefke monteur I was able to get all authors on Summer 2020 without using a single one of these tricks. So that's not the case at least on Summer 2020 maps. But these tricks can surely help you getting them ;)
@chefke monteur All of the clips shown on the video are driven by me but obviously the cuts aren't found by me.
@@WuffeliTM even 16 without the cut jump after the turbo? I thought that one was intentional

Even if you are that faster, that is no longer an achievement that you can acknowledge as a driver. The route is built this way for a reason and you trick everything and shorten a lot. Shame on you

Omg, I was literally testing that hard cut on the #17 a week ago but couldn't do it so I thought it was impossible. Good job!
It took me like 4 hours before I gave up and decided to take the replay from a respawn :)
@@WuffeliTM btw. Why is there the cam shaking? It never happened to me(at least not that much). Is it there on purpose or is it a bug and it's gonna be fixed? I hope it will..
I don't know why it happens but it happens when you hit something hard. I hope it's a bug and will be fixed. I tried to get around it by adding multiple player cameras but it fixed the issue only on preview and not always even there.

I had never had this issue but I saw couple of people on the TrackMania discord asking help for the same issue but I didn't find a solution for the problem on the server.

Camera shake is punishment from the Trackmania gods for mocking them

well ngl I got surprised by the amount of subscribers you've got, but at least I'' get to be one of them. Would've loved, as a beginner, if the video included your key presses :)
I like to render the clips form replays to maximize the quality and adding key presses would have been way too much work for a video that was supposed to get 10-100 views.
But I've hunted those tracks enough to explain the correct presses on the tricks, so if you have a spesific trick that you'd like to hunt, I can give you a detailed explanation on how to perform it.

I personally haven't had time to hunt 07 since I was at home only for a week in july and I used it wholely on this video and ALM cup.

Where does the camera shake come from? Is it in the game when you cut something?
It's when you hit something hard. I tried to get rid of it but I would've needed to create custom cameras in order to do it.
Hello, MediaTracker dev here. It appears to only happen when you move the ghost block around. I have found/fixed the issue and it should be fixed in the next update
Which one took you the longest?
The harder cut on 17 took me so long that I eventually had to give up and do it from a respawn. Same with the first cut on 21 but I gave that one up only after an hour since my attempts were far from succesful and I had already claimed the national record with the second cut.
But from succesfull ones the fastest one on 18 took me like 4 hours and the engine kill skip on 19 took me 4 hours too. Both partially due to me not being satisfied with most of the starts on those maps.

The difficulty doesn't seem right to me.. some are 1 for sure.. but like on 15 one.. that's at least a 3.. you hit the pole so much there.. like cutting the sand on 12 late.. that again you can fuck up a lot.. reroute and overwall are not that easy

What is going on with s4d and what does it stand for?
s4d is a abbreviation for speed for drift which is a speedslide that is triggered with a short brake tap. Speedslide is a mechanic that allows you to have higher acceleration when going at speed of 400 or more. When performing a speedslide you aim to drift in an angle where approximately 30% of you skidmarks overlap (at +400 speed). I recommend checking Mudda's (he's an absolute beast at fullspeed where speedslides are mostly used) tutorial for more in depth explanation.

4:06 you forgot End bug slide on 19. You also did the engine off skip wrong
If you look closely at the release date, you may notice that the video was published before the bug slide was discovered. There also happens to be multiple different outcomes to crashing that block. The 360° engine off skip isn't the only way to skip the block nor was it much faster. It just happened to be the most common succestful skip. If you had ever played the map, you'd know that only getting over the freewheel once may take hours.

True enough. These are for setting world records. Some cuts can't be done consistently at all since they never intended players to drive that way. Hence why they're called cuts. Unless you're a pro of course. Then these cuts are easy to do. Kind of
id understand the time you guys waste with that.... i mean i like tm but ... you know you won t get any money with these nerd trachs and cuts right?
The time is not wasted, if you enjoy what yoo do, right? And while it may not make you any money, it's still quite cheap fun compared to many other hobbies.
