Jimmy, for the last 15 years my family has done a low country boil (LCB) on Christmas Day. For the last 3 years, I changed my recipe to a combination of your first LCB video and the LCB you did on a Spring day in your backyard. My family loves the new recipe! Jimmy, the main reason I love your videos is they are from an “every day guy” making good food for his family. Like a lot of other TH-camrs, you are not fancy and I like that aspect of your videos because I can relate. 😂Thank you, Jimmy.
Made this yesterday! I have an 80qt loco pot and this recipe filled it up perfectly! The cook times are spot on and this was very easy to follow! Thanks!!
Oh, one more question. About how many pounds of crab did you use? I’ve got an 84 quart pot. I’ll calculate based on how much you used for your 120 quart pot. Or I’ll take you suggestion for how much crab for an 84 quart pot.
I haven't even heard old timers here in SC call it Frogmore Stew, and my great great grandma grew up in the low country. Everyone I know calls it a Beaufort Stew
The dish gets its name from a place that has only a post office on one side of the road and a two-story white country store on the other. Frogmore is the mailing address for the residents of St. Helena Island just off the South Carolina coast
I’m coming over to your house Jimmy! That low country boil looks perfect. You got it all, the shrimp, crab, corn, potatoes, I usually add mushrooms too. Killer cook brother!
Happy Valentines Day to yourself and family, thank you for the flavorsome wholesome seafood boil. That pot is no joke, my goodness it's a small delicious volcano. All the best and brightest to you.. wish we were there!❤❤😉
Shrimps, crabs, corn and potato oh wow!!! Can we in the comments section get a little taster please. Your seafood boil looks like a platter of perfection
Jimmy my brother another great cook once again 👌 I can just imagine the flavors and the aroma thanks for sharing. Take care and have a great Sunday and upcoming week. Cheers!
