I love this one.. I never thought about it, but we do watch a big pot or a big grill .. we watch whatever cooking. Family times are the best times. Lee from SC
Hello dear I am Angela from Greece! I would like to say that I admire your your family and your views about schooling and the world in general! Kind regards!
So lovely!!! We recently had a crawfish boil with our little church family. It was so nice how everyone just hung out around the table, having fellowship with one another, peeling crawfish, and laughing and sharing wonderful memories!!! We live in the southern part of West Tennessee, but attend church across the Stateline in Northern Mississippi. I just love watching your videos!!! They always inspire me ❤
I'm from Maryland---so glad to see the use of Old Bay Seasoning. It's a pantry staple up here. Instead of a low country boil...up here it's steamed (blue) crab and corn spread out with a huge pot of Maryland style crab soup sitting on a bench at the end of the table with rye bread and butter. For us, up here in Maryland, this "meal" is more about the good company and conversation and not about the food...it's about a time to talk; reminisce about the past and those that can no longer be at the table...it's not a meal...it's an event....so I get the wonder that is a low country boil...just haven't have the pleasure of attending one...yet.
Hi Shaye, Thank you for sharing all the details of this boil! We are not from the south but my husband remembers a large seafood feast when with his cousins at the ocean on the East coast. I’d love to do this for our extended family someday! Julie 🌷
Looks SO SCRUMPTIOUS!!! 😍 Can't wait to try something like this with our family! ❤ Thank you for sharing these splendid & memorable moments with us Shaye! 😊
Our son and wife had our family of 22 over for a low country boil on Friday evening for his 40th birthday it was very very special. It looks like yours was similar, looks like a special time family times like this are so important and special.
Looks like a whole lot of fun to me! Sort of similar to our New England clam bakes (corn, clams, mussels, lobsters, and a side of slaw) spread out on (no print) newspaper on our picnic table.
This is beautiful. I love it. You are so blessed. We aren't all lucky to have family to come together and do this type of thing with. Its a dream come true.
I can't even believe this. I bought shrimp and sausage for a big boil for my family when they come to visit me. Then I came home to your video you posted. Not as many people as in your group but at least seven, perhaps ten.
I learned all these Boils(crab) too, when I lived in VA for 2 years. I learned to Crab off a Dock🎉. I still miss my home town Lobsta Bakes most🔥. Thank for sharing Shaye. JO IN
Ohhh my goodness!!!! Okay im from Ontario Canada and THIS IS AWESOME!!!! Thats EXACTLY what we need here for when friends stop in lol theres never less than 12-20 people to feed and this is bang on!!! Thank you thank you THANK YOU!!! we have a birthday to celebrate for a special 11yr old young lady tomorrow/today, and this is what im gonna try and make!! I was banging my head over what to make (yes yes i hadnt planned what to cook YET lol) And this is it!! Muaahhhh kisses all around!
Looks delicious and cosy. When we go and grab fresh fish and chips locally, an English favourite. My husband and I eat it off the paper it's served on with sea salt, cider vinegar and homemade mayonnaise. I usually add some salad or minted peas too.😋
great to see this. South Carolina is my most favorite place in the southeast. i see that you've been McCllelanville. that's a most charming place close to Charleston, one of my favorites cities in the world, aside from Beaufort, Bluffton, and Savannah next door.
For a second when the food was poured out into the table, I thought it was a stew because I didn’t quite understand what a low country boil was. Anyway I’m not gonna lie I screamed.
Love my Southern family so much and miss them already.
the Italian in me thought 'is that enough food?' 🤣Looks delicious!
😂

I’m not only glad to see it being used, but glad to see how much he used 😂. A seasoned king 👑
Looks amazing!🫶🏻👌🏻
One thing about a low country boil is to peel the shrimp first. It took me way to long to learn this but they taste so much better.
I respectfully disagree. The shell holds the seasonings in when they’re done right lol
As a Californian I am enthralled! This is amazing!

Low country boil is in my top 5 best meals ever. 💜
Brings back memories! I had something like this with crawfish in Texas about twenty years ago! It was so spicy I couldn’t sleep that night! 😂❤
My family is going to Pawleys Island next week! Perfect timing. :)
Wow..love your video 📹 😍 ♥ looks great 👍 👌 now I am hungry 😋
Wow looks sooooo yummy! I love dipping my shrimp into lemon, salt and pepper 😋

That looks so good.😍
Looks like so much fun but I didn't see anyone smiling or laughing as I would expect at a large family gathering.
WOW!!
For a second when the food was poured out into the table, I thought it was a stew because I didn’t quite understand what a low country boil was. Anyway I’m not gonna lie I screamed.
Love it
Mmmmm yummy
Next time try using foil or banana leaves instead of cardboard .
