I’m planning to make one of these as my class presentation
But use glass syring instead of glasstube... It will give you best result. Because glasstube may not work ...it takes a lot of time

glass syringe is not available easily i am searching from so long
The stick which u used to connect with flywheel was disbalancing. You can use anything else to connect it and also change the scrue and the flywheel. Flywheel was heavy so it wasn't able to move properly and scrue was very thin. Use a big scrue and a light flywheel
Idea: Attach a motor which is smooth and then connect to flywheel instead of bearing. When the engine will run it will generate electricity and you can use it to light up a dc light, fan etc. Also do some shading with a graphite pencil on the piston so that it works smoothly and let the tube get hot for few mins then give the kick to the flywheel so that instantly you get a lot of power

Yes bro! But my opinion that... If you use glass syringe instead of glass test tube. It will work quickly and more efficient! Buy a glass syringe from Ali Express!

You only glass syringe, it works good then don't have to make piston.

No way can you create motion from sound...this is a sterling engine, it works on expansion and compression of air.... I think that the Steel wool here acts as a diaphragm, so as to not let the air pressure weaken the testube

You are right. Air is not oscillating inside the tube. If a resonating sound can be produced prior to inserting the piston in, it will at least be a thermoacoustic tube
Your correct! The stirling engine works of of the principles of heat expanding air in the cylinder pushing the piston, and when reciprocated or cooled down, the cycle of the engine starts over again😮😊

I honestly feel like you left out of the most important parts of the build.. how you made the piston. I understand you made it from epoxy but here's where it gets foggy. Did you use an extra test tube and bust it out or did you use something else that was close to the size you need or what? If you're going to make a diy video about the steps and procedures for a build then you should include the whole process. Don't leave out something as critical as the piston. If the piston is too big it won't run if the piston is too small it won't run. This is important information to someone who is here to learn something.
.....and this is why I encourage people to not watch videos from cheap sources.... There's one more guy who has explained the making of the epoxy piston in much more detail....
