    Dear Grain, This is a free regenerative displacer, free cylinder Stirling cycle heat engine, not thermoacoustic unfortunately. But this type is one of the simplest Stirling what we can create. It has a bit modified version where the piston moves freely too and it's called as a nick name: 'jumper'. Anyway the video is so clear to replicate that! Congratulation! BLADE

      @@grainshorts6541 Yep, that's called 'Rocky', an all free (piston, cylinder, displacer) Stirling engine that use the unbalancing method to drive the displacer in right phase. Not so strong, but effective and looks really weird. I've made one with steel ball displacer few years ago just for fun. Anyway, good job!     Very nice! Will this keep going for a long time if you leave it? Or you need to keep restarting? If heat is constant.

      When stopping, an external start is required again, as with a single-cylinder engine. If the heating is constant (preferably cooling from the other end), then the work will be constant too.

      @@grainshorts6541 Excellent thank you. I am looking at different sterling and thermoacoustic engines which are simple and reliable. I would like to run one with sunlight, either by Fresnel lens or parabolic mirror. This is part of my research 👍

      Да, электричество будет вырабатывать, я делал такое. Но запускается хуже конечно, энергия-то отбирается. По дельте - ну, смотрите сами: пламя от спиртовки и комн. температура - это минимальное условие.
