I’ve worked with a little girl with cerebral palsy, more severe than this but she was the most beautiful girl in the world and I will always love her with all my heart. This condition doesn’t mean like is over. ❤️
As a 36-year-old with CP, I just want to encourage both these parents and Finley. It is possible to live a very joy-filled and complete life with this condition, despite of it (and maybe even because of it)! Prayers for all of you.
She’s so adorable! I have Cerebral Palsy too and use a walker, just like hers. I’m 26 now and was diagnosed at the age of 3. She should be very proud of who she is and to not let CP get her down. Her ability is greater than her disability. 💖

I know there’s people in the world that would have backed out of the adoption once they found that she had complaints so thank god there’s still good people like you in this world. She's the most beautiful little girl ever, you are blessed. My daughter just got diagnosed with this and she can't walk or talk and she's 2and a half, I don't know what to expect but seeing this made me feel abit better about it.

She is still young to tell what she’ll do or not but she is so strong and willing to try anything and loves imitating things you tell her. She’s already telling ME no!! With the swiping finger for extra effects lol Take it easy mom. Everything will be alright. God would not have given you challenges in life if He didn’t see you going through them. Yes it gets tough but it’ll all work out just fine. Next thing you know they’ll be older kids in school with their preteen little issues lol
I have spastic hemiplegic cerebral palsy as a result of the same kind of brain injury that Finley had before birth. However I was born 7 weeks prematurely and was immediately diagnosed with cerebral palsy once I was born. I also wear an AFO, ankle foot orthotic, on my left leg and I use a cane to walk around with because of having a major surgery on my left leg 2 years ago when I was having kneecap issues and other complications that developed from having cerebral palsy. My kneecap issues developed from dislocation of my left kneecap in 5th grade and chronic subluxations of my kneecap. There's more to it than what I have typed, but cerebral palsy affects my entire left side, hence why I don't have much ability to use my left hand.
I also wear AFOs but I don’t have Cerebral Palsy. I have ullrich congenital muscular dystrophy and I use a wheelchair. I have seen people with cerebral palsy before like when I went to horseback riding one girl had CP and when I was in forth grade there was a girl who used AFOs and a walker. I think she had CP but I could be wrong.

I only found out about its existence thru watching breaking bad and its honestly opened my eyes and raised my awareness of the situation affected people go thru... they are so strong.... live strong finley and all you other fighters out there! :)
Finley is a wonderful, cheerful little girl and is blessed to have parents who have the strength every day in helping her be herself. I'm 56 years old with CP. One other thing to learn is to have a support system (friends, support groups, etc.) in their adult life. Make sure that they are treated kindly, respectfully. I know that we have to do the same thing too. They need people who truly care about them. Her smile is the light of life. God bless.
My brother has a less severe form of celebral palsy, he wasn't born with it but got it because of a very suger level drop when he was just thirty minutes old. It had big effect on his legs, speech and hands, but he can still do all stuff with them. Same goes for talking and walking. He's now an developer in training. I've got so much respect for my brother and for Finley and her mom. She's the cutest.

She has balance issues and needs someone to hold her hand wile she's walking. And like you said, it's neurological, not the fact that the muscles don't work properly.
I'm doing research on CP because I'm in the early stages of writing a fantasy story, and my first novel, about a young princess with CP, who travels around a wonderful and magical world with her loving and protective companion. This sweet little angel really inspired me, she reminded me a lot of the princess in my story. This video made me cry, your daughter is incredible ❤️
I have severe scoliosis and cerebral palsy, and I was born around 9-10 months prematurely. My condition affected me in a way that the left side of my body was weaker than the right. I’ve been experiencing problems with my hips, legs, and back my whole life. I did therapy for it when I was 4 but I don’t do it anymore. Even through all of my struggles that I have faced through daily tasks and bullying, I still manage to keep trying. This little girl truly gives me hope and I’m glad I decided to click on the video. :)

I am a mother who was born with a mild form of Cerebral Palsy [Hemiparesis/Left side]....Cerebral Palsy affects motor functions only. It it no way affects or damages one's intellect and ability to reason. I just wanted to reach out and hug Christina and tell her that she is doing an absolutely MARVELOUS job raising Finley!!! I follow Christina's Instagram blog, and am always delighted to see their posts. One thing I would suggest for Finley is to introduce her to auditory sources: stories and music [playing instruments and listening] especially classical music, film scores, and audible stories. I have met quite a few persons afflicted with Cerebral Palsy over many years, and one thing I found in common is that all of them (including me) are in some capacity very involved in music.
One of my best friends has ceberal palsy. It clearly makes nobody that diffrent from regular people, yet I fell like those people are still very special. Even you Finley. ❤️ stay strong.
Fin is a doll and her mom is awesome for giving her the EXTRA attention, FiFi needs to be doing as well as she actually is. Without mom being so supportive and hands on I don’t think FiFi would be doing as well as she! Fin seems like a fighter she’s beautiful, Mom you’re a champion and so is FiFi!!
I also adopted a baby with Cerebral Palsy. She was only 1.7 lbs at birth and she survived a grade 5 brain bleed. She is now 21 years old, attends University in Toronto, Ontario and with botox injections and occupational therapy when she was young, Sarah lives a great life. She still wears a small brace on her left leg to keep her foot flat. I knew when I adopted Sarah that she had CP. She is one determined girl and I think you will find that your daughter, as she gets older, with the care of people like you will grow to do and experience life beyond your wildest dreams. Keep inspiring :)

I really do touch with Finley because I myself have cerebral palsy and I’m 14 but this story really touched me about how the parents and the kids challenge the hurdles with this condition
I have a sister with cerebral palsy, but unfortunately it is a lot worse than Finley’s. she is 7 years old and is still unable to walk or talk, and she is only able to stand up when she has support by me and the rest of my family. She is completely aware of what’s going on around her and she thinks like any other 7 year old but it’s amazing to see others with the same condition who are fighting it with such positivity.
