Hello. I have also a younger brother who has Down Syndrome... and he is also deaf. Some people might imagine how hard it is to communicate or to raise him. When tough times come I would search some videos like this to brighten up my days to make me realize that my family isnt alone. Everybody loves him.
Some researchers say Down Syndrome kids can be bilingual if they grow up hearing both languages. I wonder if they can also learn “fluent” sign language. (Fully knowing ASL, not just basic small talk signs like “how are you today?”)
This takes me back so many years My biological daughter is 44 and then two adopted Downs that are 32 and 28. The early years were so fun to be able to see the accomplishments. They are all very independent and wonderful adults. They have 4 big brothers that are amazing and have always been there for their sisters. This is a great video.
Me too my third born has down syndrome she's now 6months i love her so much at first i used to cry every day coz it was my first time to hear about it but am now getting used most esp after watching this video, thanks my dear for this video u have brought hope into my life again 🙏 bless y
My daughter has Mozaik Down Syndrome. She has been a gift from God. She had a rough start but is now 32 in two weeks. I am so proud of the woman she has becomw
In a few weeks i'll start at a new kindergarten with kids who have down Syndrome and i'm so excited. I seriously can't wait to work with them. This is a great video to understand more about the situation at home. Thank you!
I have worked with small kids with Downs Syndrome. I absolutely loved them. As children, they are so cute but...how is raising them as teenagers and young adults? That must be a huge challenge.
It can be hard just like raising teenagers into adulthood can be hard as well! They have the same needs, wants and emotions like everyone else but the joy far outweighs the hard times. My sister has Downs and is 39 now! She lives in a unit with a flat mate and support workers. She has just made her 20 years working at Coles 😊 She was sooooooo proud! She works 5 days a week for 4 hours per day. Everyone in the Shopping Center knows Kate and she has so many friends at work! It’s not all roses and rainbows... Kate has had to overcome many obstacles in her working and private life but we come through the harder times and they pale in comparison to those hard times. She sees the good in everyone and has such an innocence about her! Anyway my point is... it is going to hard but it is 100% worth it 😊
I know a mom who have a child with Down-syndromme. By the families love and education provided to him, now he is so smart..... He plays 'chenda', an Indian drum-like instrument. Everyone in this village talks about that mom as a strong super woman.Everyone here is proud of that family. Me tooo...... ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My son has Down Syndrome. To me, he is Down Right PERFECT. I would not change one thing about him. He loves everyone & he never meets a stranger. More people should be like him & his friends who have Down Syndrome too.
I came here to get an idea of down syndrome. I am just amazed to see this video. Emilee is so cute and her elder sister as well. Love to all. I came here after watching a viral marriage video where bridegroom give special treatment and attention to bride's students suffering from down syndrome. These children are so cute and deserve all the love and attention. ☺️🥰❤️
@@ermmam2350isn’t it what life is about? Ups and downs? And downs are made to overcome. It’s all relative really. My life with my daughter with DS is better than my life before her. So downs? I don’t know really. To me, it’s more joy than hardship really.

We used masks and I also think breast milk helped alot.

Should be called ups not downs
Its only called Downs syndrome because of the doctor who named it, Dr John Langdon Down.
It is named after after John Langdon Down, the man who discovered Down Syndrome.
Let's be realistic it's not all ups it comes with lots of challenges
