1. You should've played the PC version. It still runs on modern Windows systems, it has a much higher draw distance, improved graphics, there's little quality of life changes like the crystals spawn closer together when you break a box so you don't have to run in a circle to pick them up, and they fixed some glitches. 2. You can press circle to snap the camera behind Croc. It's not a flawless solution but it makes turning around at a fast pace a lot more viable, it would've helped you a lot in Village Masher.
Glad I stumbled upon this channel half way watching your reviews and weirds quirky hilarious questionable comments Just question: did played klonoa ps1 and ps2 and ps4 or 5 remaster and if are you gonna make reviews about them
@@BoredMan0 I’ve never played Klonoa but I have heard of it. Can’t say for certain if I’ll review it since there’s so much I plan to do already, but I’ll definitely consider it!
I only played Croc 2, but it was one of my favourite games 🥰 It was so exciting and difficult! I really like the cossack village, but Roger was so difficult 😅 Not sure if I even made it to the Caveman village 🙈 But I was around 10 yeas old and not allowed to play a lot and didn't have a memory card so I had to restart the game a lot of times 😅
When I was a kid my family didn't end up getting some if the really iconic games from the early playstation days, Croc 2 was the game i played the crap out of. I played the first world the most especially bc the disk scratched at some point and the game would freeze every time I got to the main boss in the ice world. So I learned to play some levels in the first world literally backwards and forwards. I was really good at playing it. I actually played the first one way later and the tank controls threw me for a loop and i never got far but I remember enjoying it. Kid me would have loved better platformers like Spyro and Mario 64. I didn't get to play Mario till it came out on the DS and I played the heck out of it. All that to say, I definitely see its flaws but I have a lot of nostalgia for Croc 2
When I first beat the game as a kid I thought the egg being taken was a setup for croc 3 where croc would've to fight a dark croc raised by baron dante, but turns out its just the setup for three shitty puzzle levels after you 100% the game, always disappointed
Honestly I much prefer the first Croc, maybe it’s just rose tinted glasses as I played the first Croc religiously as a kid, still do to this day & have never played Croc 2 until a month ago as an adult, but it just doesn’t do anything for me
I don't disagree with you that Croc 2 is successful in achieving themed variety while keeping to the scope of its gameplay, setting it apart from the repetitiveness of Croc 1. But artistically, the first game has a lot more to say, with its surreal landscapes and bosses. I think it's a lot more memorable.

This game is horrendous. Which sucks because I loved Croc 1. Thank god for save states on emulation, because having to redo an entire level because of terrible camera/controls is brutal.
Croc 2 is the worst sequel I've ever seen. The only good thing about it was the music. Croc 1 is honestly a better game. I mean Croc 2 has a goddamn delay when you jump.
Fun fact: that one guy isn’t a knockoff Moneybags. Moneybags first appeared in Spyro 2, which came out a few months after Croc 2
Didn’t even think to look that up. Luckily all my jokes transcend chronology so we’re all good :]

Entertaining! Thanks man enjoyed your video, especially the part about losing 20 mins to a boss because of the camera lol
I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you!
@ no worries. Just finished Croc 1 on PS1 yesterday and ordered Croc 2 for £15 straight away. Legendary games, even though the controls suck
I played the 1st game but was never able to finish it. I remember seeing the second game once used at a game store.

Now you should give a shot to Ape escape!
I haven’t actually considered doing Ape Escape. Never played the games. Might have to add them to my list
@@Torran2Glitchy i've only played the 1st game (and beat it recently). I haven't played the sequels.

I'm quite fond of Croc 2. I also liked the first game despite some major flaws that held it back, but I think I prefer the second game as a whole

best game
The controls are still AWFUL in the sequel. The game is fun though.
