    About meditation is you don't have to believe. Doing it is experiencing it and experiencing it is the point. The success and benefits are apparent and evolve
    quickly.
    All you can do is meditate twice a day for at least a week or more,
    for 10-15 minutes and find out for yourself!

    I like that 'diving within' -
    without manipulation, create and discover...
    Everyone can do this - from ancient times it has been called 'prayer', and it links mind with infinite creativity.
    This is positive, well known and tried.
    Consciousness is everywhere.

    I love this very intimate and candid exchange from David to his audience.It is really refreshing to hear someone excited about the subtle world we swim in as he describes his connection to the unified field. His exhuberance for life, delving into the self to find core happiness/ultimately world peace. Translate your own inner knowingness into a full and abundant creative unfolding moment by moment. Splash into your bliss.
    ☮Peace

    The clear explanations and analogies by David, Dr. Fred Travis and Dr. John Hagelin about TM, the creativity in filming process, the impact on brain coherence and the physics of the benefits of TM are easily grasped by any person.
    I learned TM when I was a young student and it was an investment. I have benefitted over and over again in healing and consciousness and other arenas, and I have not regretted the investment.
    The honest and genuine questions by the audience and replies with explanations by David is very insightful.
    The three experts in creativity, physics and brain functioning who give humorous analogies, visual demonstrations and personal experience is heartfelt. The TM leadership is solid, and highly educated. Thank you for making this video available to the public. And understanding, from different angles, and working together to communicate to a variety of people about the benefits of TM and especially the benefits of TM group practice.

    This is one of the best forums on TM. With creative leader David, physics expert Dr. John Hagelin and brain research scientist Dr. Fred Travis. The humor with clear information via analogies and metaphors by all three experts is engaging and current. As Bob Roth says at the onset, it is an exceptional event. For all who hear and understand an amazing tool for healing and well being. Thank you to all of the world leadership!

    TM is based on Tibetan Buddhist & Hindu meditation techniques, stripped of any "religious" aspects.
    Chanting, visualization, breath focus.
    It's excellent and successful whichever approach you take. In fact, ten minutes of meditation can change your moment, mood and entire day.

    The course fees are quite reasonable in my experience. The benefits are great -- and they grow with time. The course fees for students now are less and also one can arrange to pay over time. The David Lynch Foundation has done remarkable things to remove stress and problems of at-risk kids, women in Africa, vets with PTSD, the homeless, etc. Take a look at his website--I found it extremely reassuring that so many people are donating, and so many people are benefiting.

    I just want to say that I agree with the outrage about the cost. Meditation should be free to all. I started doing meditation, just clearing my mind not using a mantra. But if you search for so ham and click on the video "so ham mantra" with the blue eye. That one really kicked it off for me. I reached that ocean of pure consciousness. It was truly a beautiful experience it brought me to tears, I felt so happy. Breathing and good posture are essential. Hope this helps

      The investment in the TM practice is like investing in any market product, only better. There is absolutely no guarantee with most investments of results. Even when you purchase a house, a vehicle, clothes, etc, the product wears out and you have to purchase again, or repair. Not so with TM. You have all you need and it doesn't wear down or need replacement! It heals you, your mind, your body and you are uplifted. You can still after decades, obtain a practice checking at no charge! There are very few organizations which offer any revisit service at no charge. Teachers need to be paid. They are paid once, and have no trails (residual income) when they lecture or conduct a practice checking.
      As an example, most never revisit your medical provider, attorney or investment advisor with no charge... let alone mechanic, etc. But TM teachers are available.
      It's always good to have dialog regarding questions and objections. I am telling you as someone who invested, the rest dividends if you will, don't stop! They accumulate! I hope in some way I have given some insight, and you have made the investment in a mantra.

    check out 45:23, interesting camera shake occurrence "happens" as David Lynch discusses (sound) VIBRATION (shake = vibration) as it relates to a mantra. Is this, in his words, a "happy accident" (synchronicity), a technical glitch in camera operation, just a random occurrence or intentional action by the camera operator?

    • @AnnebelBuntOnline
      @AnnebelBuntOnline 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most of the times, when filming such events.The camera is placed on quite a steady tripod (like this one is most likely). The camera does not need an operator yet there is often one person responsible for the camera and he or she will have to stay with it at all times. Maybe this person, or someone else accidentally pushed the camera or pulled a wire, anything could have happened..

    • @AnnebelBuntOnline
      @AnnebelBuntOnline 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd say it's a happy accident.

    I can't tell you how grateful I am that I discovered meditation.. I have always been shy and after 4 months it has helped me so much more with that than anything else ever has. It's a really wonderful feeling to finally be making progress! The anxiety I used to feel is going away, almost like magic it seems. I didn't do TM but a similar type of meditation that has identical effects, that not too many people know about yet because it is relitively new.. it is called NSR, it costs $47.

    There are various meditation techniques, and some of them are taught FOR FREE, like Vipassana. I've attended two courses and found it great. Look for infos on the Web and you'll find more. Inner freedom is for all, like sunlight, and not just for those who've got money!

    • @larryprimeau7738
      @larryprimeau7738 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      whatever TM costs these days is more than worth it. they teach it one on one and make sure that it's done right. If it's done right it's priceless. being so jaded will never lead you to choose wisely. you'll always feel that someone's always ripping you off.

    • @gianz73
      @gianz73 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@larryprimeau7738 As I said, alternatives like Vipassana deliver quality results and don't cost anything. They're based on fully voluntary donations by people who tried the technique and are so satisfied with the results, that they're happy to offer the same chance to other people. Not jaded at all; it's just how things are.

    • @franciscobasilio2976
      @franciscobasilio2976 11 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I get what you mean, but you making it quite intelectual. Maybe too much. Knowing technics you just need to dive without knowing what is in the bottom. You dive but dont need to frive) The thing is take a rest of it for a while so you can further be more intelectual, but more clearly. More perception etc

    • @ghostgate82
      @ghostgate82 11 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      "Expanding your consciousness" just means to become wise. This can be done many ways (not just TM). Imagine an ignorant teenager watching the movie The Matrix. That same person may watch that movie again 10 years later and have a whole deeper understanding of the movie. The movie is the same, get an expanded consciousness can see things that the "golf ball sized consciousness (as David put it) can't see/perceive. I hope this helps you understand better. Peace man.

    All those complaining about the cost involved in TM, they do have costs involved just like a church, or a business. I have a series of concerns about TM myself, and would not want to do it. David Lynch did say that if you wanted to try it you could contact him through his foundation and they could find a sponsor for you to check it out. So really you can "try before you buy".

    Oh I "taught" Maharishi & David Lynch everything he knows. In the 80s I would fast for peace of mind, couple days and come off it by drinking beers. Yes I know, it's not a perfect way to end a fast but as I lived in Australia it was necessary to when in Rome etc

  • @olanoo33

    I think TM is an amazing meditation technique. I learned it around 15 years ago, before i discussed my financial capacity at the time with my teacher, and i think i paid something like 100 euro's and got around 50 euro's covered by the insurance. I know, times have changed rapidly. But i think $2500 is a lot of money, and if ur low on budget its a huge leap to make. I hope they still willing to look at every individuals financial reach.

    When I learned it years ago, the teachers were idealistic and were passing the money to the organization. Correction: There was one that treated it as a business, he was the most know teacher in my state
    As for the cost, when you pay for something, you value it and keep at it, to get your money's worth. If something is free, you tend to quit easily. Well, that has been my life experience
    Speaking for myself, I learned it 20 years ago and still use it. I have no regrets, I got my money's worth.

    Does electron have consciousness ?
    Molecular biology and molecular evolution
    Cosmology and cosmic evolution
    If Universe evolves can electron evolve too?
    Does evolution of life begin on electron’s level?
    Origin of life is a result of physical laws that govern Universe.
    Electron takes important part in this work
    Question
    Why does the simplest particle - electron have six formulas:
    E=h*f, e = +ah*c , e = -ah*c, +E=Mc^2, -E=Mc^2, E= ∞ ?
    Electron is not as simple as we think

    A study accepted in the journal Sleep last month (but not yet published) claims that lucid dreaming should be not be considered a REM dreaming phenomenon but rather a unique state of consciousness (Voss, et al., 2009) This study, conducted at the Neurological Laboratory in Frankfurt, Germany, backs the assertion with physiological data taken with an EEG. lucid dreams are shown to differ from ordinary (REM) dreams by an increased brain frequency in the 40Hz (or GAMMA) range.

    Because making scary, weird, and creepy stuff is totally independent of whether you feel great or not. You can feel like crap and make scary stuff or you could feel great and make scary stuff. In other words, the reason Lynch makes that kind of stuff is because that's what entertains him.

    When Lynch talks about 'If you want it, you'll get it.' - regarding the $2,500 cost to learn TM - it was the first time I disagreed with him.
    The world doesn't work like that: you wouldn't say that if a starving child really wanted to eat, they'd get food.

      He wasn't speaking to starving children. You have the opportunity, maybe not immediately, but you have the opportunity to get it. The majority of us who would either go to a university lecture or seek out a David Lynch lecture on TH-cam have more than enough privilege and opportunity. Don't hide behind starving children.

      GrandmasterofWin I totally agree. It’s like when you find people that tell you, if I do it for you, then I have to do it for everyone. That’s BS! It is our limited thinking that makes statements like that. There is so much to embrace here. The lectures are beautifully presented, the speakers are gifted and the message is powerful! We all walk away with something positive. And those that don’t, move on to the next video...

    wow did Lynch really have to say: "...or let's enjoy the silence.." These people are extremely lucky to be in the presence of a cinematic genious and it takes like a minute or so until someone finally works up the courage to ask him a question? wtf? If I was there, I'd be taking up all the time with all the questions I'd like to ask Lynch, just to pick his brain..
