For real. I used to work in the liquor aisle at a Target, and one girl would also be assigned to the aisle and lifted the 40+ lbs. boxes just like me. They don't get the basic idea of COMMISSION vs. WAGE. O/F gets a commission, IE, the money they "earned" was already worked for and it's their pay for enabling the SW to make their 80%. The SW demanding 20% back, is like the bride wanting the caterer to refund all of what she paid for all the food service at her wedding, because she didn't like the center pieces color scheme. The 20% is EARNED income from PAST effort on the SW earnings, via a commission. The only way the SW could say they deserved some sort of a refund, is if the SW actually signed a contract and paid in advance moneys for services not rendered. The services are rendered "on demand" by O/F every time the SW makes a sale, O/F gets it's 20% rake.
What next, publishers on Apple story saying they get a refund for some change Apple makes on their store? Again, Apple makes the money as a commission, for services rendered in real time. If the SW don't like the new plan, go to some other platform and do your "work". Nobody is forcing them to perform on O/F.
