Ohh you are good man! But yes in all ways possible, this is definitely a much more superior gun.
In regards to guns in general there are a few things that make one stand apart from another. The barrel, bolt and trigger. The materials they are made from and the finish applied to them. In the case of a barrel, it’s the inside finish.

Well, I picked up my ZPAP M92 yesterday. Love it, but not necessarily the black handguards. They were semi-smooth and didn't show much grain. I fixed it, made it look nicer without costing me anything, as I had the stuff on hand. I removed the handguards and blue taped off the steel parts. Rub the wood vigorously with a scotchbright pad, going with the grain. It lightens the black just enough to bring out some grey highlights in the grain, while also smoothing the wood to a glassy smoothness. Work it to your satisfaction, but I didn't get too carried away. I put a little dark oak Restore-a-finish (awesome stuff!) on a rag and wiped it on the wood. Wipe it down with a dry cloth and put it all back together. It brings out the grain without sanding off the stain or sealant. Trust me, try it. 😎✌️

Got the same exact gun 3 weeks ago. My first Ak. I put a muzzle brake on it and people in my indoor range love it 👌

I got the same rifle, but mine was in a full length box. The only extra the box had was a cleaning rod which I promptly put in my other AK that needed it.

I got a occam defense folding brace it’s forsure one of the better braces out there
I’ve not seen that one, I’ll have to take a look at it.
Also check out the bonesteel/cnc warrior braces. Definitely also one of the best for ak's In my opinion.

Im jelly I got the non bulged receiver exact same one but hey it adds a little more weight so it evens out lol and it came with a folding SB brace, so $1,000 ya it killed me but was my first rifle so fuck it and it was in 2020

I just picked up a new 92 in the box from a Gun Dealer on 7/1/20:
No Picatinny rail on the top and no rail on the back. On the back, there IS a rubber plug, at least.
The barrel does not have that 'crank off style device', nor does it look like anything can be added quickly? No spring loaded button. (I see in the comments this was addressed.)
Mine looks like the picture on the front of the owner's manual that you showed. Your gun does not look like your owners manual?
Stamping is Z92-101XXX
He has the alpha model. Yours is a standard model. Alpha model comes with the picatinny rail on the top and back and muzzle device.
@@colewilmoth246 Yeah, I researched it and figured out that the one I should have bought was $400 more and mine is not so easy to upgrade.
@@SmittyAZ Does yours have a plug in the back? If so, putting a picatinny adapter on the back is pretty easy. If you want a picatinny rail on the top you would have to drill it. I like my AKs with irons anyways.
Are there 10 rd magazines available for this?

Kinda new to guns started in 2020 I have a few glocks so far and they all came with 3 mags a speed loader and the cleaning brush but I also have two ar pistols but they only came with one mag is it supposed to be that way??
Mine only came with one mag too and a cleaning rod.

Currently own a BCM 16” AR15 and looking to add an AK pistol to my armory. Im looking to get an AK pistol that is arguably the best in the market.
What makes the Zpap92 better than it’s competition?
There are a few things that set this one apart from the competition. The first one that comes to mind is the chrome lined/cold hammer forged barrel. It's known that those two combinations seem to serve any firearm well when it comes to both accuracy and longevity.
I am going to stop myself there though because I will be the first to say that I am more well versed when it comes to AR15/M4 pattern rifles than I am with AKs. With AR/M4 platform I am both formally trained and can speak from experience after building over 100 (some for myself and for customers). I am also going to refer you to this Wiki page that was created by those much smarter about AKs than I could ever dream to be!! haha! essentially it's a first timer's guide to the best ones out there.

@@GunBoxTherapy thank you for the information. I will check out that link to help me decide if the ZPAP92 is the one I want. It’s the one I’ve been leaning on, Zastava to AKs seems to be the BCM to ARs.
Oh one last thing, please help me on how to get the brown wood furniture opposed to the black wood furniture which is all I can find them in. Where did you get hours from and how much did you pay for the alpha model which is what I want.
I’ll start off by saying the majority of the guns featured on my channel are in my possession because I’m a dealer. Some of the guns I unbox are mine and some are possessed by my business or have already sold. Hopefully that makes sense.
As for the wood color, that seems to be a challenge I’ve noticed right now as well. Currently all I’m able to find is black polymer or what’s labeled as dark wood.
I don’t like to discuss prices here because I don’t want to be blamed by TH-cam of blurring the lines between my “firearms business” with my “TH-cam business”. Both have to be separate in order for me to stay on TH-cam.

Mine did too and I was surprised to see it so I put it in my old wasr that needed it anyway.

Yes, there is a detent that needs to be depressed and it twists off reverse threads
I picked up this exact same model #ZP92762PAM on GunBroker a few days ago for $801.00 plus taxes, shipping, etc. Waiting for it to ship to my FFL. The SB Tactical TF1913 stabilizing brace arrived this afternoon. Yeah! 😎✌️

Yes, love it. It's heavier than a Draco, due to it's more robust receiver and trunnion, but I'll trade some weight for strength any day. The brace is perfect on it!
appreciate it! That’s a hell of a price, in my city (Indianapolis) they want 1,100 for it and i’m saving right now to get it. I personally will choose a zpap over any draco.

There is a deal on Gunbroker right now. Zastava ZPAP M92 Alpha, new for $929.99. They have 10+ in stock. Gunbrokr is a good site. I've purchased through them several times with no issues. Just gotta find the deals, lol.

@@alizin2011 depends… usually about $950 without the brace and $1,100 with it. Built like a tank, you cant go wrong brother. Zastava makes great products and for the money you cant beat em

I need your help man i just bought mine and removed the thread protector mine did not come with the booster i had to buy it from zastava well once i removed the thread protector the detent pin is stuck inside the channel i can see it exiting from the rear of the gas block but it doesnt come forward to hold the booster in place any ideas how to fix this? I was hoping that once i remove the thread protector the detent pin would just come up i thought the protector was just holding it under spring tension. Please help
I recommend taking a punch, pushing the detent down and hitting the gas block with a nylon hammer. And while hitting, slowly lift the punch out of the hole.
Did you get it sorted? Was your thread protector tack welded to the front sight?
@@SmittyAZ i did get the detent pin out of the hole it was kind of caked in there but i was able tu push it out. My gun is now an SBR i did the ATF paperwork.

Now they go for between $850- $1000 I’ve seen shops charging $1500 so get it online instead.
How is it so dry where is all the packing grease
These are generally covered in grease but this one wasn’t too bad.
Cosmoline will come out the more you shoot it, looks like Rust, it's not, just keep cleaning and oiling and wipeing that Baby down.

Zastava has Excellent Customer Services, with my experience dealing with them.

I just choose not to do a safety lesson every video. Just trust and understand that I do so multiple times off camera. I don’t show that on camera for a few reasons.
I don’t want to insinuate that I am providing “training” that could be perceived as both “incorrect training” or “negligence” because I may have misspoke a step or did not annunciate clear enough for the listener to hear me or understand me. It’s a tricky thing with TH-cam and following their guidelines and legally speaking by providing training I would feel as though I may have some sort of liability if I was perceived incorrectly. I hope that makes sense.
The other reason is that I feel it would be too redundant and monotonous of a task to do it every single video and every single time.
I’m sorry if those answers aren’t what you were looking for. But I thank you for being respectful and not like most others who result to “YOU’RE A F’N IDIOT!” Or “YOUR GONNA SHOOT YOURSELF!”. I assume nothing and treat everything as if it were loaded up and to the point that I check right before I hit the record button with the box in front of me.
