My first AR, three weeks in. LOVE IT! Shoots like a dream. $602 after tax and all. Just added heavy barrel break, can't wait shoot it again and again.

I love my RF15 I put around 1000 rounds through it so far and not one issue whatsoever. It's my go to for home defense and its accurate too very accurate. Great rifle great price! 👉🏻💥💥💥
Just bought the RAD-15 and it is one bad ass firearm! I've put iron sights, a holographic optic, fore grip, and 800 lumen flashlight on it! Shoots extremely well! Excellent buy especially the price!😎😎😎
Only have about 100 rounds through mine but it has performed well. Fitted with MBUS sights and recently the Sig Romeo/Juliet optics. For the price it's very hard to beat.
Really nice it comes with B5 furniture. For a "cheaper" rifle you get a lot of bang for your buck.
Just got one a couple months ago for $519 and definitely worth it for a nice budget AR if you don’t got much money. Shoots great and no problems yet! First thing I got on it was a vertical foregrip, dot sight and iron sights for back up! It’s a great firearm for the money!
love mine upgraded strike industries trigger guard,radian charging handle,muzzle replaced with can. cmc drop in trigger ,magpul bad lever , looking for surefire light on sale. Radical Firearms Is awesome 600+ rounds no issues , just cleaned after every range visit.
If you use Amazon, they seem to be the best priced place for SureFire lights and a tapeswitch. You can also use (gun)[dot](deals) to find the best deals. Kinda like a Google search for anything gun related (minus ammo).

Bought one two days ago for 399 from Classic Firearms...my first AR. Can't believe I got one under 400.
I’m waiting for Black Friday to snag one on cheaper than dirt. Currently they are $479 but I’m sure Black Friday I can get around $400 also
That has been the starting price. Very good base /beginner rifle.
I have about 2k threw mine and is running great. I'm about to upgrade to the geissele 16in super duty but will continue to love this rifle.

Very nice. Just bought one, SOCOM RPR rifle from Atlantic Firearms for $599. They've actually dropped in price since I bought mine down to $579 I believe. Unfortunately I had to buy the California compliant package which is an extra $80 but no biggie, still a damn good rifle.
And the censorship is real.

Ran 3 30 round mags thru it rapid fire and dident jam the stock feels great in the shoulder so good gun in my opinion
Yeah, about the only negative thing I’ve seen/heard of boils down to QC issues but I’ve heard their customer service handles things quickly.

My handrail was doing about a 3/16 " nose dive right out of the box causing mbus pro front site pin to unthread due to raising it so much trying get zeroed. $20 to ship it back under RMA, had it back in a week repaired. No Failures ever. Just wanted the rail straight and level for the sights. They told me that the barrel nut was loose as well which they repaired. Just added a Viper PST Gen 2 second focal plane LPVO. Range time!
Recommendation. Open it up and show the BCG. The beating heart of an AR. Otherwise, pretty good video.
Bought mine last week and took it out twice. I'll need to get a drop in trigger to replace the stiff 7.4 pound trigger it came with. Trigger pull on my old Bushmaster Patrolman is over a pound lighter and I can shoot tighter groups with it despite it not having a free float barrel.
If you don’t wanna spend too much on a trigger but want a quality single stage, check out the ALG QMS (quality milspec) trigger. They are awesome!

Have the same rifle, the bolt carrier group is garbage. I changed mine out for an Aero Precision bolt carrier group and upgraded the buffer system to Aero too. Now the thing works flawlessly.
Hey shane, did the bolt lock or fail to eject? Just curious I have 2 of these . 1 rifle 1 pistol shot both but not much & they come with life time warranty they couldn’t fix it for you?
Curious, how are the bcgs garbage? Why change the buffer system? Did you have issues with your bcg or just changed it out because of some preference?
Just saw a video by RobSki, AKOU4774, after 4300 rounds the bcg failed, cam pin snapped, rings were bad. I decided to buy a FailZero Nib BCG in preparation.
@@ReticentIndignation Who made the BCG, any idea? Another video gave a supplier name that I'm sure is false.
@@TheTenthManOnTH-cam my RF-15 has an Azimuth bcg. Not sure if Radical still uses that company. If the gas key is round at the rear, the bcg manufacturer is Azimuth.
So far my RF-15 has been flawless, but I installed that bcm sopmod bolt upgrade kit when I first bought my rifle.
I just purchased the Socom RF-15, but it didn't have the Socom barrel. Thanks Radical Firearms.
Picked one up from my local FFL for $429 although I did end up swapping out the factory lower for my Spikes Tactical lower

I get 3 inch groups at 200yards using PMC Xtac 62grain and a Vortex 1-8x24 LPVO.
Can't be mad at that considering it's not natch ammo.

I have the same one with rome5 and magpul back up sights. Only thing i dont like is the upper receiver is wobbly on the lower which is why im watching videos on them so see if anyone has that. Looking for ways to tighten that up to see if it increases consistency in shot placement.
Will, there should be a tightening screw in the grip handle that should tighten up that wobble..... if you open up the AR, you should see a green colored ring or button where I believe tightens up that wobble ... look inside the handgrip.

I would personally go with the radical. Lot better build and furniture and warranty right here in texas.

Just got mine. Its in 6.5 grendel. Online its $900 but my gun store had it $500 brand new. I oiled it already. I use only hornady ammo. Im running flip up sights. Till i get a sig sauer scope.

I bought that same upper for 199 on a Black Friday sale. Just finished this particular build. I married mine up with a psa lower with strike industries everything else. Hope to shoot it soon.
Should had spent that $ on ballistic advantage $300 for complete upper/stripped lower

Mine came with a manual a sticker and mag pull p mag gen 2 mag. My radical ar15 pistol came with the mag you have.

Most manufacturers won’t include one just because there’s so many options out there and everyone has their own preference. Plus they’re like $20 on average so I’d rather just buy one myself anyways.
@@tanmann224 or print it! I've printed forwards grips and they work perfectly. Also printed a slanted front grip that works well also. For 30 something cents, it's so easy to try out different things to see what fits. Lots of mlok stuff out there in the 3d maker space.

Can you swap out the length of the barrel. Or Change the upper ?
Of course. Provided you follow your local and federal laws. All ARs have just two pins you push out to remove the upper. A barrel swap is a little more involved and extra tools are required but it isn’t too bad.

Can I put attachments on there like an olight laser a forgrip flip up sights red dot ?
Yes you can. On the sides and bottom the accessories need to be MLOK compatible. Top mounted accessories will need to be standard picatinny rail compatible.

4140 Chrome Moly Vanadium with a melonite finish. It is NOT chrome lined.
Hey I just brought mine but I think that the magazine it's not 30 rounds its a 10 rounds what can I do regarding the magazines if it's 10 rounds here in California

Not without breaking warranty but I have a Aero Precision on mine but I broke warranty when I put a franklin armory binary trigger in so I wasn't worried about it
@@jaimzmyers3699 Thanks for the warning! I plan on keeping the warranty, just in case. Just received the rifle, pretty nice and don’t mind the hand-guards too much anyway.
@Unity Yep, no problem. I wish they stood behind their products a little more. I feel like the ar platform is Legos for adults🤣🤣 but I haven't had any problems with mine other than double feeding. I suspect it's because of the duffer spring I put in, and It's under gassed or when I put the new hand guard on I miss aligned the gas block. But I have about 2k threw it, and I've just started having that problem. That might be why🤣🤣🤣 either way very nice for the price. I'm upgrading to a geissele super duty 16 just waiting for it to come in.
I bought two 30 round Pro Mag magazines for mine from but neither of them fit properly in this rifle. Can you recommend a 30 round mag for this rifle?
Having the same issue. They sent me a 10round mag and it won't release when the mag is full. The 30s I have almost get stuck in it.
@@jackjohnson4978 Pro Mag sucks. The first one I bought was too tight but I was still able to get it in the mag well with some maneuvering. Sent that one back to the factory telling them why and they sent me one back that was too wide to fit into the well AT ALL. I told them about it and sent pictures of their mag side by side with the 20 round ASC mag that fits that came with the rifle, showing that the Pro Mag was slightly too wide to fit, but they never got back to me about it. I'm not paying another $12.00 to ship that one back for a return. Will never buy their crap again. I bought 2 ASC 30 round mags once they became available again and although they do fit a lot better, they still won't drop out when the mag release button is pressed- I have to pull them out myself. I also got a C-Products Dura Mag 30 rounder, which was basically the same as the ASCs- it fit well but won't drop when the mag release is pressed. don't know if it's a defect in the gun or just the way it is with 7.62x39 30 round mags in AR-style rifles. Having to pull the mag out myself is not a deal-breaker for me, so I can recommend ASC or C-Prod mags. At least they seem to be uniform.
@@jackjohnson4978 BTW, Radical recommends 20 round mags for their 7.62x39 ARs. I wrote to ask them why and they said the 30 rounders have too much of a curve to be reliable.

Do you know what bcg the use on these is it still azimuth. That's the only complaint I have heard about radical. I have fired only about 30 to 50 rounds in mine no problem at all.

Both slings. It's got two normal sling slots and a qd sling well

What's the difference between the butt stock on this one and the L shaped butt on the other rf ar-15?
The one with the "L Shaped" stock is a stock that is made by MFT and the stock on this one is a stock made by B5 Systems. In my opinion the B5 Systems stock is the superior option and I would choose this one over the other.

Man I just got one for 450 out the door, but does anyone know what caliber the barrel is??? My lower says multi-cal which I understand, but the barrel has no stamp on it that I can find. Someone holler at me

I try 556 ammo did not work for me , then I try 223 it took it for like 10 rounds they it choked.

I would call the manufacturer.
I would also recommend contact Radical to sort the issue out. From what I’ve heard, their customer service may be slow but they will help you out and sort the issues out.
Could be as easy as a faulty magazine or as much as an out of spec barrel.
Has anyone asked Why Radical Firearms states in the instructions Remington UMC ammo in either .223 or 5.56 VOIDS the manufacturer warranty??

How would you attach a sling to the rifle
It has the Quick disconnect on the buttstock and then you would have to get another QD for the MLOK. My sling came with the needed piece or you can buy a magpul one for $20

Are these guns very reliable?
If this is the only thing within your budget and you are looking for reliability in a self defense situation, I would recommend a couple of things.
The first is the get it inspected by a competent gunsmith. If they are good they will do a headspace check, gas block alignment, verify function at a range and while at the range take note of the ejection pattern.
I say this because I have heard of quality concerns coming from them but honestly, you kinda hear that about some of the top-tier brands.
All of those things I listed though, if checked out properly, will demonstrate proper function or find correctable issues.
