NYC Bus & MTA Bus Company | 1998-2000 New Flyer D60HF Review

This is the review of the second batch of D60HFs in history. I like these better than the first historical ones from 1996-98. They became much better with some getting the LED displays. I wished I had rode these series of D60s back in 2016 while I was at the Freedom Tower for a year. But 2017 was too late until I touched the newer version of the D60s.
1998-2000 D60HF Renumbering:
Units numbered 1001=5355, 1002= 5252, 1003=5431,
1004=5437,1005=5439,1006=5441,1007=5447,1008=5475,1009=5500,1011=5465,1012=5484,1013=5432,1014=5504,1015=5456,1016=5446,1017=5480,1018=5477,1019=5494,1020=5479,1021=5337,1022=5502,1023=5425,1024=5473,1025=5426,1026=5408,1027=5433,1300=5294,4704=5281,4705=5283,4706=5285,4707=5291,4708=5295,4709=5296,4800=5392,4801=5400,4802=5410,4803=5423,4804=5416,4805=5415,4806=5418,5250=1110, and 5251=1111.
They were renumbered because of the 2012-13 LFSAs at first(not mentioned in the video), and the 2015-16 XD60s(Andrew Cuomo delivery) delivered since late 2015.

Here’s the ACTUAL depot assignments for the 1998-2000 New Flyer D60HFs:
5250-5284 to GH Depot
5285-5294 to KB Depot then we’re later sent to GH Depot
5295-5309 to West Side Depot present-day MJQ Depot
5310-5379 to GH Depot
5380-5444 to KB Depot with 5380-5381, 5383 being sent to GH Depot
5445-5459 to MJQ Depot
5469-5485 to GH Depot
5485-5499 to KB Depot
5500-5509 to MJQ Depot

Actually if you didn't know, these patular D60HFs were put into storage sometime in 2012. The only reason they were reactivate was because of Hurricane Sandy.

New York Bus Guy! I ride one of these long buses when I was going to see my grandma. It happened in lower East side which was obviously in Manhattan. I was a little kid over the years when I keep writing these buses all day. These buses take me back memories.

You got it wrong it was 5250 and 5251 alwere numbered 1110 and 1111
