    I like the backroad driving and when you're in the woods telling your stories. It's like you get a glimpse of what it was like to grow up there. It's so much more than I thought. I think when I visit Kansas I'll get some of that Sand plum Jelly too. Enjoy your videos.

    I'm a retired white-collar guy but really enjoy your taking me along on your adventures.
    I appreciate how you talk fast and explain stuff. You are a decent human being and love the way you treat / involve your kids. I just wish there was a way to download your Adventures more chronologically. I see many a second time...that skip from winter to summer, etc...

    Enjoyed taking a country drive with you. Small towns are great to visit, sometimes not easy to live in- everyone can be clannish/standoff. Sometimes they like knowing everyone's business and gossiping-- first hand experience with more than 1 Small town. Neat vehicles but you can't save everything just because someone doesn't want you to get rid of it, or there's money in them. Your lot would be overflowing and no one would want to give you anything for them. Enjoyed watching the crushing, didn't realize how much I missed it, lol You are busier than a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs, there needs to be two of you but then you'd be twice as tired! lol Stay safe and GOD bless

    Hi Silas, love the videos. Can i ask why you use a car crusher and not a baler? If you cubed the cars, you could get twice as many in the same space.

    • @AdventuresMadeFromScratch
      @AdventuresMadeFromScratch  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      About 30 reasons 😆 Can’t bale farm trucks, can’t bale rear ends even in small trucks, baler costs 2-3x as much, harder to load, harder to move around, bailers break more often, etc. If you aren’t crushing bare car bodies and loose tin, a baler is definitely the wrong choice.

    • @AdventuresMadeFromScratch
      @AdventuresMadeFromScratch  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Rear wheel drive stuff doesn't crush on its side well. The reason I crush some of the cars upside down is so that nothing flies out the top of the trailers that I load while they're going down the highway.
