Just a reminder that Susano's voice actor is the same as Urianger. You can always tell when the main cast actors are pulling double duty - they love going full ham with the extra roles.
It's really refreshing to listen to someone with such vivid emotions, some conditions can draw emotions away from you and catharsis like that is like fresh air under water
No matter how many times I watch this cutscene it brings me to happy tears. Seeing the eikons being summoned to HELP rather than hinder was such a perfect way to close the chapter on the beastmen and their summons. There are no words to describe the joy I felt when I first saw it.
So, I've taken a break from FFXIV for a few months now, and it's been a minute since I last watched someone play through this section of the game...... BUT THE MOMENT THE OPENING CHORDS TO THE ZONES SONG STARTED!!!! I -INSTANTLY- had a catch in my throat, and tears stinging my eyes. Bloody hell, Soken is a GOD at ruining emotions with SONG.
Launch week, there was *nothing* like I’d ever felt when playing a game or watching a movie compared to how I felt when I realized it was a distorted version of the song from the EW launch trailer And then the moment the music became clearer with estinien’s sacrifice, I had to take some time and process what it was we’d have to do to get to meteion, even if we could bring them back at the end somehow someway
Cid walking in like he built the entire dang thing from scratch while he just did the last 5% and tried to spraypaint the Ironworks logo on it somewhere...
@@christianhagel6835 that's the kind of thing you can expect by default of the devs, it wouldn't make sense for aether currents to exist there prior to that, so it'd be more of a surprise if they didn't rather than the other way obviously still a great thing to see and can be commended, but just saying luckily they're very good about doing that with almost everything :)
