Thank you! I also invested on a ecotank because I got tired of buying ink cartridges every month! I am now interested in making my own stickers for my students but was afraid that my ecotank would not work as well as an inkjet printer.
I know I had the same experience spending so much on ink cartridges😅😅
There is nothing to worry about! Get the right kind of sticker paper(get the sticker papers for inkjet printer). I would recommend glossy if you want stickers to be vibrant. Also if you want longer lasting sticker, try vinyl sticker paper. Have fun!😄

Hi Jen, did you try printing vinyl sticker sheets on your Epson ET-2750? What settings have you worked on? Please let me know. I have the same printer but it won’t work with vinyl sheets! I am sad, because I was very excited to print my own stickers at home. The sheet got smudged first, and got stuck in my other attempt. When I selected normal paper, the colours were completely different.

Very very cute! I have an Epson Eco Tank too, just a different model. I love their ink tanks. And you hand cut your stickers too!! It's so weird, I actually enjoy doing that. I don't know why. You cut so smoothly and your designs are very cute!

This printer prints letter size(full pg without edge). If you go search in Epson website it does states it prints upto 8.5 x 14.
I personally print on letter size vinyl/plain sticker papes(8.5 × 11)😊

Hi, thanks for asking. No it cannot. It's regular inkjet printer that will print on papers for inkjet printer only. Hope this helps😊

Hi there, glad you got this printer! I would use either 'premium photo paper glossy ' or 'ultra premium photo paper glossy' on high quality, depending on your paper.
Do play with these settings and see which result you like more.

I tried to print labels on an Epson printer, but I didn't know what kind of paper to choose in the settings. I couldn't find the label paper option. What should I do??
Hi there, usually labels are sticker sheets. I set my printer to plain paper, or if you want slightly better quality than try premium presentation paper matt. Good luck💖

I feel you! I had to try all the settings and also tried out various sticker papers. Just try to play around and see which result you like.
The one I really liked was matte vinyl sticker paper and I printed w/ premium presentation paper matte setting. (I've linked the paper in the description box)

It really depends. I sometimes use Premium Presentation paper Matt on some papers, or Premium Photo paper Semi-gloss. I hope this was helpful!
Advice on settings for printer & procreate to get smooth images to print ?
So sorry for late reply. I don't use iPad so never created imgs on procreate. One thing I could do is make your image resolution 300 dpi and higher when creating a new canvas.
This way you'll have high quality image automatically.

Try not using paper that's too thick. I found heavy weight papers gets stuck in the printer😔 hope it was helpful💖

Hi Ali, thanks for dropping by 😊💖 As for the ink, I'm so happy with the printer. I've made so many prints and stickers, but I still have some inks left!!😳😆 I definitely think Ink is much better than ink cartridges. I don't have that specific video for print setting, but I'll make sure to make one in near future.
I really love procreate, I heard a lot of really good review. The tablet I use an android tablet (Galaxy tab 7), so I had to use something else, which is medibang paint.

For my regular matt sticker I run it on Premium presentation with standard setting, for vinyl matt paper I run it on Semi-gloss on high quality setting. I run it on Semi-gloss not matt coz matt option doesn't have high quality setting.😅

Such a nice aesthetic video! I recently bought the same printer and was wondering if you knew how to get bright vibrant colors when printing on sticker paper. I use glossy vinyl paper and when I print my stickers out the black ink smudges and refuses to dry. I saw you recommend prem glossy so I gave it a try and the black didn't smear that time but the colors were nowhere near as bright or nice looking.

I think the quality of prints really depends the sticker paper. Try to test print on other kinds of sticker papers if you can. Also I saw other artists put another layer of clear film on top of the sticker to make it waterproof, I think this will make the sticker look more vibrant. I haven't tried it myself, but hope this will work for you.

Hi there, I looked up the printer you mentioned and by the look of it it's very similar to mine. If you started using it, why don't you give it a try? Make sure you get the sticker paper for inkjet printer + setting on high quality/photo printing depending on your paper type.

3:48 u cut the stickers like that then how consumer peel of the sticker frm the back?? Isnt it difficult to peel of that way..?
To be honest it is a little difficult to peel the backing off the sticker, but it isn't impossible. If you hand cut sticker this is something you should consider. Thanks for asking!❤️
Hi! Would you know if this printer can handle thick cardstock paper? Like the 100lb cover weight?
Thanks for asking! I tried cardstock but it didn't work. The thickest paper I printed was 230 gsm, which is about 61 lb.

I really like this printer! If you are planning to start small business I do recommend it. If you already have a shop running and planning to print high quality prints, than I would say find another printer. This printer is great as your first printer😊
i have a question! i just bought the ecotank as well and printed some sticker sheets but i noticed the black ink takes FOREVER to dry. it's wet 15 minutes after printing which never happened before with my previous printer. since it takes so long to dry, the printer rollers pick up on the ink and there's black streaks all over my paper... did you have any issues with this?
Oh no😳 it happened to me too. Make sure the sticker paper is for inkjet printer. If it is the right type of paper, than try to use different paper. I once bought a transparent sticker paper for inkjet, and it never dried. So I bought sticker paper from different brand and it worked.

Hi! I have the same printer and I've been trying to print stickers out. At first, the paper went in but smudged a little at the top. It's not a big deal for me as it's just for my own personal use. However, recently the paper starts to get jammed in there and makes my printer do a terrible sound. I checked to make sure it wasn't my printer causing this, but my printer works fine with plain paper. Do you think it has to do with the paper itself? I use some viny paper from amazon that is popular. Has that happened to you with vinyl paper, and do you recommend certain paper or brands? I've been trying to do my own research online, but unfortunately, there isn't that much information about this printer online when it comes to stickers.
Hi there, thanks so much for asking. Recently I had a same issue with the printer (smudged cover, making a loud noise). I think the issue is with borderless printing. After not using this setting mine is working fine.
Also I did some google search, and found it could be ink that were on inside/near printing area, and after cleaning the issue was solved. Someone also said that paper is bending slightly inside the printer and that is why there are smudges on the corner.

Hi! Thanks for stopping by 😊 I did make several stickers and most of them came out wonderful! Recently I tried transparent sticker paper and it did smear(I think I bought the wrong kind of sticker😅) I'm waiting for different brand transparent paper so I'll give you an update when I test print on it.
With this printer I had no problem with Matt, semi glossy sticker papers, and quality was amazing. I haven't tried glossy stickers, and on transparent sticker papers ink did not dry.

I just got this printer and I am having a hard time trying to adjust the color more vibrant like the digital image. It is my first printer.
Hi, glad you have the same printer! It is always challenging to match colors on the screen to actual print. Have you tried all the settings? And made sure your image is on cmyk not RGB? Also if you want your image real vibrant using glossy photo paper can help. The paper price isn't cheap but it's worth trying. Good luck🙌

Absolutely!💖 making your own stickers will save you so much and its so much fun!
If you go online, and search printable sticker paper you'll find so many variety sticker papers(I've put link in the description box)
Even if you don't have this specific printer in this video, you can still print your own stickers at home.
Just make sure your printer is laser printer or inkjet printer, and get sticker paper that is right for you. Good luck!😊💖

Hi, thanks for asking! I use Epson printing app to print my stickers. When you open the app, press 'Print photos' and choose your file. Depending on your sticker paper, you may want to use 'Premium photo glossy', 'photo paper glossy', 'Premium presentation paper matt' etc.
Play around with the setting for the best print quality. Also don't forget to check your image file, it should be 300 dpi or higher.

I did a little research about your printer, and i think it is similar to mine without small screen in the middle. I can change the preference on the screen, but since you don't have that option try to do it on your epson app.

Hi there, I haven't counted how many stickers I can print in one refill. But to think of it, it really depends on how much ink you need to use on your print. If the design needs more ink it will use more ink.

Hi there! Just wondering if you were able to print a nice pastel yellow. I've been trying and it just looks golden rod or brown/greenish. Tried rgb and cmyk and all kinds of settings. Best was plain/ bright paper on high quality, but it looked pixelated. My file was at 400 dpi...should I try redrawing on higher res? Idk...Oh and was trying to print on matte vinyl paper. When I tried premium and semi gloss setting the yellow looked golden or brown/greenish....I even printed a test print of as many shades of yellow I could draw on procreate...
Hi! Thanks for asking. I had a similar problem when printing yellow. It tends to print more golden/ darker shade of yellow. Did you try to resize image when printing?
Try to keep your image in your original size when printing. Sometimes when size of original image is small(even if your setting is 400 dpi)but when you try to print the image print app fills up the whole page with the image.
Also I find it better to print on matt vinyl rather than glossy vinyl. Maybe it's just my personal preference😊

I was printing on matte paper and actually the yellow illustration was the smallest...like half an inch in size. The setting that printed truest to the illustration was plain/bright paper on the highest adjusted setting. Although the color came out great, but there I can clearly see the pixel dots...Then I tried to redraw it at 1200 dpi, but I can still see the grainy pixels... what type of vinyl paper do you use? Maybe I'll try using a different matte sticker paper...?
Also, to add. For me, I noticed printing on glossy paper got rid of the pixels. But I couldn't for the life of me print a pastel or even a lemon yellow... tried Epson Vibrant? And RGB setting as well...RGB worked the best...if you do find a way, please let me know. That would be a life saver 🙏🙏

@@arelistorres541 Thanks so much! I use different setting for the types of paper I use. For example, when using matt vinyl paper the setting I use : photo print - premium photo paper semi-gloss on high quality with borders.
It really depends on papers you use, and also on your image. Just play around a bit and I'm sure you will find the perfect setting!😊💖

Hi, thank you so much! I love my printer so far, and I found not many issues with it. Two issues I have : 1. Noise when printing. Sometimes it makes really loud noise and I can't find a fix for it. 2. Sometimes edge of prints smudges. I think its caused by ink left on the inside of the printer. The only solution I found was not to use full bleed printing.
Also max thickness I used on this printer is 230 gsm printing paper that is postcard size (5×7). You can absolutely use smaller paper😊 hope this was helpful💖💖

Tip:flip the image 180 degrees and get it close to the other as possible think of making a "rectangle" and the bunnies are in opposite corners... Like a "yin yang" it will give you more room and less gaps aka wasted paper

Hello I have an epson and I was wondering if you could give me advice. I'm trying to print out my stickers but it keeps printing super dull and dark compared to how it's on my screen. I did convert it to CMYK so I'm not sure if it's because it's too complex for it to handle or if something is wrong with my settings.
Thanks for asking! What you see on the screen is almost always so different from when it's printed. You did a great job converting your img to cmyk. Now what you need to do is to keep adjusting your image to make your print perfect.
Also your paper really makes a difference. Try to test print on better quality paper(photo quality inkjet paper, semingliss or matt). Usually high quality paper makes the print more vibrant and bright.

I was messing around with the settings and made it lighter, I havnt tested it out yet cause it was late .
I'm using LD glossy photo paper. I havnt tried matte yet. Which is you're favorite to use?

I usually prints on Semi-gloss Matt , but I prefer Matt Paper. Glossy paper is too shiny which isn't my personal preference. It's really your choice😊
I printed my stickers on vinyl paper but it's smudging. Do you know what setting I must use?
Hi👋 thanks for asking! If it's glossy, it can smudge right after it's printed. Make sure to put it aside for few hours to let it dry. If it still smudges, try different sticker paper. I once had a issue with a transparent paper that kept smudging😔 but after changing to different sticker paper, it was OK!

When I print a a sticker the color come off and it smears why do you think it does that
You might have printed on the wrong side? I did this mistake once😅
Or sometimes color comes off if it needs more time to dry😊
How does this printer handle thicker paper like cardstock?
That's a wonderful question. I've tried 271 gsm cardstock and it didn't go through the feeder. I also tried 230gsm matt photo paper for printer and it printed well. So I guess maximum thickness is some where around 230gsm.

What's the difference between ink vs no ink doesn't this printer take ink?
This printer takes ink for sure. There is refillable ink tank inside the printer. Before you fill it up with ink, there's literally no ink inside the printer so you wouldn't be able to print before you fill it with provide inks. I hope this explains😊
I'm currently looking at this printer. I bought the HP Smart Tank Plus 555 but it really struggles and jams taking my sticker papers! Does this have any issues taking the paper? Also do you ever have any issues with colours appearing washed out, as dome other reviews mention that?
Thank you for asking! I had no issue with sticker papers I've used. No jam so far, which I think I was lucky. How about trying different brand sticker paper? Also try loading 1 paper at a time.
About the color issue, with my vinyl sticker I have really vibrant color. If I use regular matt sticker paper, color is a bit dull (similar quality to printing on plain paper)
Did you try different printer settings? (Ie paper quality, printing quality etc)

@@illustbymj Thanks for replying. I've tried putting all different amounts of sheets in including one sheet and it just can't take them and jams. Tried 3 different types of sticker paper too! It started off with no issues and now hated them, it's going back tomorrow!
I always set mine to best quality and matte is generally slightly duller than gloss (especially black), but lots of reviews of the lower level ecotanks have said all are very washed out on matte papers 🤔

I know what you mean, the black isn't truly black😅😅 its more like dark gray/navy. Especially as you've mentioned, on matt paper. I find color is almost always much better(vibrant)on gloss paper.
I personally prefer matt paper because I don't like the light reflected on my art, but I guess thats my personal preference🤔😊

Black's are definitely grey like on matte paper.
I print business stickers and give people a choice of matte or gloss, most pick gloss but some pick matte.

As far as I know, Cricket is a cutting machine. You need a printer to print, and I can recommend you this printer. Or any decent printer would do😊💖

Yes! But be careful when you are choosing the sticker paper. It has to be inkjet sticker paper(not laser) and I found out some types of sticker papers smudges even its inkjet sticker papers. Search 'waterproof vinyl sticker paper for inkjet printer' on Amazon😊

I have the ET-2750 but my prints are coming out with a lot of tiny dots all over the page! I’ve only had this printer for 10 days, did anything like this happen to you?
No I never had the same problem. Did you try clean the nozzle? Try it and see if it gets better.
Oh and make sure your image is high resolution image. A lot of tiny dots on your print happens when you are trying to print images from websites. They are usually low resolution image(many tiny dots).

Hey there, I'm starting off with my biz and I just wanted to ask about the print quality because I hear mixed things about eco solvent inks. I want to know how well they print, of course a video won't do it justice
I cannot say it prints as good as professional printer, but it prints a decent quality prints. I personally sell my prints,and thinks its a good printer for a small business.

@@ifyouleavenow5960 Yay congrats!💖💖 The color tends to be a little light, but I was ok with that since I work with lighter colors.. Did you try printing on glossy paper? Also play with the image itself on your image editing app and make the black lines really black.

Hey, I have a question! Do you know how much money it basically takes with the amount of ink used on each page and the cost of each piece of sticker paper? I’m trying to put a price on how much I should sell my stickers if I used the same stuff as you. (Sorry if that was worded confusingly, I just need to know how much each printed page costs you)
Good question! I never thought about figuring out how much each page cost me😅 but if you are serious about your business, I guess you have to find it out at some point.
I sell my stickers $1-5 depending on size/quality of paper.
This doesn't really answer your question but just letting you know how much I charge for my stickers.

@@illustbymj found out that each piece of paper for your sticker paper is worth around .58 ¢ compared to my regular paper which isn’t as good that is worth $1.53 per page so I think I’ll try the vinyl! I’m just gonna Rea’s search the cost of ink that is used :)

Thank you so much for making this video. Doing some research before purchasing a new printer. I am looking at the bunny on the star image. I noticed the pink on the starshine and bunny ears looks purple once printer. Is this a common problem? Thanks!
Thanks for asking! Color on the screen is usually a little more brighter. I try to test print few times to match the colors as much as possible. I can say the color is very close to what I have on the screen, but never the same😅 the pinks are a little darker but not purple💖

@@dandee28 well this is inkjet printer and there's a huge difference between laser and inkjet printer. In my opinion this printer can print labels well, but it's not waterproof unless you use waterproof vinyl paper for injet peinter.

@@ninacarrillo8380 I use photo printing with premium presentation paper matte or sometimes premium photo paper semi-gloss. Also I do not use borderless option. It sometimes make blotches of inks around the edge of paper. Test print before doing the final print. Good luck!

Hello .. I have such a printer and I have many problems with it. It is very slow and when I print pictures using a mobile phone via Wi-Fi, the image comes out very bad and its colors are dark. I think the speed issue might be because the internet connection isn't good or your image is too big. If it's printing is slow all the time, try connecting the printer with your computer(if you have one) and print from there.
Are you printing your own image(photo or drawing?) Make sure you make the image in high image resolution(300dpi or more). Also change the settings (paper options + high quality).
With dark images I'd say you can change the image brightness, you can do this on any image editing app, or even in your phone.(go to gallery> select a picture > edit > brightness)

Hi July. A common issue why the pictures on the screen look different than printed is that they are most likely in the RGB colour mode while the printer works on CMYK mode. When the RGB picture is converted to CMYK, many colours looses brightness and look dull, darker. If you have access to Photoshop I would advise to convert pictures to CMYK profile and correct the brightness, saturation etc before printing. Hope it helps.

Hi! Congrats on getting a new printer! Is your image your own? Make sure your image is high resolution (more than 300dpi). Also try to run a nozzle check and see if everything is clean😊💖
Oh and don't forget to play with the settings( I always set my print quality to 'high')

Well, I don't think so. The ink is sprayed on to the sticker paper so there is no damage done to the printer itself. Hope this helps😊

Something is not right. I have the same printer, but it prints very pale. Ink quality is poor. My stickers don't look vibrant. The black is grey. Even when I set it to high quality.
Oh no..🥺 did you try to clean the nozzle? And did you download Epson printing app to print your stickers? Is the paper type selected correctly? And when you are printing make sure your are printing 'Photos' not documents. Try all these and see if it improves your print quality.
