Idk about gouache but maybe try what those makeup restoration ppl do and clean off the blemishes for each pure color while it's still dry, break 'em down by smushing it or grinding the lumps (cleaning the grinder each time), and then put each colour back into their squares after the tray is cleaned and get them wet again to reactivate as paint? Probably overkill meant for repackacking for resale, but it might go a long way to preserving the pure hues underneath.

Add a couple drops of water and gum Arabic…slowly mix with the paint. That’s all you have to do.

Same thing happened to mine! I actually soaked it in water for a couple hours and then mixed them one by one with a palette knife. I was able to save almost all of it!
So I do have hopes!🥹🥹 Will do the same and let you know how it went!🙏
One of my favorite artists uses it and he says to just add water but I think you already did that but maybe try soaking it in water?
I tried that when it started to dry up and for a while I totally forgot to do the maintenance (I was doing more watercolor at that time😅) I'll try to put water in it, and will give you an update🙏 Thanks so much❤️

Is that a pencil or a color pencil you used for the outline? I really love the strokes + line weight 💛

I like how you used the black pencil, which you can do while the watercolor is still wet - which you can’t really do with black ink safely 🙏💕
