Absolutely classic lines as beautiful today as ever it was.
Maybe some of today's stylists should take a look back at this.

You are absolutely right, the 70s bikes were the most beautiful that were made. Would love to have a Kawa z900, it is at the top of the wish list. Regards Kingofarctic

I bought one of these in Feb 77 and roadraced in the MRA in 78. I eventually did the following:
    - bored for GS850 pistons - worked great
    - smoothbore carbs
    - electronic ignition
    - Kerker exhaust
    - custom paint (like a CBX of that era)
    - upgraded suspension
It was a great bike and I wish I'd never sold it.
BTW, at least in the U.S. it did NOT come with double disk front brake in 77. I believe the 78 GS850 came with double disks and the bike in the video probably has the setup from an 850.

I think 78 was the first year of duel front Brake rotor and Calipers… By the way your bike is absolutely Gorgeous! Man O Man She is Sweet! I just got a 1977 750 Blue Metallic!

Thanks so much! Glad you like my old classic. This was originally blue but was painted red when it was renovated 10 years ago. Dual disc brakes came to Europe in 1977, possibly to the US in 1978. Regards kingofarctic

I had that exact bike; 1977 Suzuki GS750B. Bought brand new in August of '77 at Clinton Cycle in Clinton, MD. As I recall I paid $1900 for it. Great bike. Wish I still had it.

Hi Ken, it must have been a wonderful experience to be able to buy a brand new GS750 in 1977. It was really one of the better bikes in the 70's. I've only had mine for a little over 1 year. I will keep it for a long time. Regards Kingofarctic

@@kingofarctic8474 Yeah, it was a wonderful experience. Went everywhere on that thing. Even did a little bracket racing on it at Budds Creek Raceway. Put on a Kirker header, Dicks Cycle West quarter fairing, BMW S bend bars with bar-end mirrors. Pretty sporty looking, for the time. Got married, had a baby, had to sell the bike.
